Back at the battlefield, the two magi continued their fight as Ana's frustration skyrocketed of being wondered by how Ken managed to cast Dragon fire.

So, she decided to try a more destructive spell as she gathered her mana and cast the spell...

"HELL DRAGON'S WRATH!!"

Golden burst of flames shot off from the ground, attempting to burn the boy from below as he dodges the attacks.

"Tsk, how annoying."

He once again did one thing that completely shock the dragon girl.

"Analyzation complete. Here goes nothing."

By replicating what Ana did, he also casted the same spell.

"HELL DRAGON'S WRATH!!"

The exact same attack was used against the girl, catching her off guard.

"H-how?!! Even if you wield the dragon flames, this is one of my original attacks that I cultivated for 3 years!!"

Looks of shock and bewilderment was seen at the faces of the audience above that are currently witnessing the fight.

"What the?!! The Academy's Weakest is matching up against the princess of the dragon blood?!"

"Wait, this has got to be a joke!!"

"Wow, I didn't know he could do that."

"You have got to be kidding me."

"Is he maybe a dragon also perhaps? I saw him using Dragonfire too."

The black-haired magus ignored the audience and continued to focus on the fight as he answered the girl "Well, looks like the dragon girl is not so tough huh."

The boy then followed up as he casted a speed accelerating spell to charge at the girl, earning more looks of shock from the audience as he slammed the girl's gut with an empowered dragonfire punch.

"Argh!! You'll pay for this mongrel!!"

The girl then made some distance from the boy as she revealed her red dragon wings and levitated high up.

"Ehehehe, I bet this won't save you. Try copying this!!"

A massive golden ball made of compressed heat was slowly conjured at the hands of Ana.

"Well, that's not good." Ken said wondering how will he able to defend himself against an attack that destructive.

The boy attempted to disrupt her by shooting dragon fire balls, but the girl blocks it with some kind of barrier.

"You think I don't have countermeasures for that?!!"

Ken thought about his situation all troublesome as he saw the huge ball of dragon fire that keeps getting bigger and bigger.

"Ahahahaha, I guess you'll be getting the privilege of being hit by one of my most destructive spells!!"

Kael's eyes widen as he looks at Ken with worry.

"Master, I think this is getting out of hand. The spell that Ms. Dragonfire is casting looks lethal and the whole grounds might be in ruins at this."

Ura shrug him off, looking at the battlefield with amus.e.m.e.nt.

"Nah, I have faith that the Mercer brat would surprise us. After all, he has that magic."

Back at the battle, the ball of dragon fire finally reached its peak of power and size.

"Take this, DRAGONFIRE BOMB!!"

The attack was unleashed, sending it at Ken.

The audience thought that Ken was a goner since he would be the victim against an attack that huge and destructive.

They were wrong.

Ken Mercer, the Academy's Weakest, pathetic magus.

It's all just a farce as he was ordered by Master Ura to keep his magic hidden, hence he would be targeted by the A.S.SOCIATION.

The boy muttered the spell that would engrave into the minds of the audience for generations to come, especially to a certain blonde ice magus princess.

"I guess it's time to come out of the hiding, the A.S.SOCIATION could come at me for all I care, but I'm done pretending."

Ken stared at the incoming huge mass of dragon fire ball without any fear and the temperature suddenly drop to dangerous levels as the battlefield was immediately surrounded by ice.

Muttering the spell, the boy casted...

"FROST RELEASE: ICE IMPRISONMENT!!"

The spell was meant to trap, not attack. To utilize its uses, Ken casted it on the incoming giant mass of dragon fire, entrapping it in the prison.

Glacia Winters was shock to say the least.

Scratch that, she was frustrated by how someone outside of her family was able to utilize her bloodline, the famed Frost Release.

The magic, Frost Release. It is the reason why the Winters Family is feared throughout the whole land of Kalas.

And yet this man, Ken Mercer, her classmate and said to be the weakest of the Academy was able to use it with ease and also the fact that he was able to cast a signature spell buried deep within the library of the Winters family mansion.

It took her 2 years to hone such spell to perfection, with dozens and dozens of trial and error being made and it took her frustrations to a whole new level, but in the end, she was able to achieved it, an unbreakable ice prison capable of entrapping even the mightiest of beasts.

So how in Gaia's name was he able to achieve such remarkable feat?

Maybe he is a Winters himself? An illegitimate child perhaps?

No, he was able to cast the legendary Dragon fire with minimal effort.

It is a proven fact that when you focus yourself on one element of the elemental magic, then you will be having a hard time casting its opposite element.

For example, if you dedicate yourself to being a magus of fire, then naturally your body will adapt to the heat, thus attempting to cast frost spells will be futile and the opposite also applies.

Despite the Dragonfire being unique, it is still fire nonetheless. It is also the reason why the Dragonheart family detest ice magic so much since being attuned with the heat at ten times its intended rate also means that you will suffer the effects of ice at also the same rate. The same weakness also applies to the Winters. In fact, it is of these reasons that there is always some sort of internal conflict between the Dragonheart and Winters.

And to combine both the flames of Dragon and the frost of Winters means he is not your everyday typical magus.

So, having the blood of the Winters is out of the equation.

Then her eyes widen as a sudden realization hit her.

"N-no way..."

She remembered the stories her father used to tell her when she was a child.

A legendary magus of old from the War of the Exodus capable of copying any forms of magic, even the bloodline magics itself.

The bearer of the title "Magus of Infinity" and the legend who ended the war itself by defeating the Demon king who threatened to destroy all of Kalas from ages back.

The magus known as Ken was able to answer back all of Ana's attacks by giving her a taste of her own medicine.
