Married To A What?!

"Listen up pups!" the alpha wolf announced lazily. "We're going to be snake hunting. be on a lookout for snakes in the city and report back as soon as you can. We're doing my old friend a favour so keep an eye out for his soon-to-be mate and DO NOT involve Naruto or Sasuke. We don't need any more complications. We clear?"

"Yes, sir!"

Kakashi nodded and dismissed them before texting Kurama. Seriously, first Naruto and now Kurama. What was it about the Uchiha brothers that got the foxes so addicted? His Iruka was way better than those troublesome brothers. Still, the werewolf wasn't going to judge. It took way too much effort to do so.

When Kurama received the message, he thanked his old pal and promised to get him something good in return. Right now, there were more worrying matters to attend to. Itachi wasn't safe. Danzo had an eye on him. There was no questioning it.

Tenten caught sight of the handsome gentleman with fiery red hair again and smiled. Sasuke dropped by not too long ago giving her a picture of this gentleman. He was a VIP according to the younger Uchiha but as a woman, she knew better. Clearly Mr Kurama was someone special to her boss. When he requested to see Itachi, she didn't cause any trouble and told him that Itachi was in a meeting and would be back in fifteen minutes. The secretary served some tea while the gentleman waited in the CEO's office.

Fifteen minutes later, Itachi was feeling a migraine building up when he stepped into his office. He wasn't quite expecting a pair of strong arms to ambush him. The CEO nearly screamed when he felt himself getting abducted and calmed down only when he heard a low chuckle. The familiar flame-coloured hair tickled his nose and Itachi smacked the playful fox demon.

"What are you doing here? You left very early this morning..."

Kurama grinned. "I'm making sure you eat lunch. You slept awfully quickly yesterday, it must have been tiring."

Itachi blushed at the mention of last night. To shift the attention of the topic to something else, Itachi started asking Kurama where he started to learn how to cook and all. The fox demon found that shyness adorable and decided to continue observing his mate up close. He knew that Itachi was a class of beauty on his own but it never occurred to him that the long-haired man was practically flawless. There was probably no demon who can win Itachi in beauty.

The CEO had flawless skin, stunning eyes, silky long hair and very very kissable lips that Kurama found himself entranced by. Itachi ate and talked for a while before realising that Kurama had gone silent. The fox demon was very still and it startled him how serious he looked.

"Is something wrong?" the CEO asked.

The fox demon didn't know what came over him when his hand reached out to c.a.r.e.s.s Itachi's lips. He pried into them and Itachi was too stunned to respond when Kurama's thumb entered his mouth. Still, he played along and teased the handsome demon by running his tongue over the digit and s.u.c.k.e.d lightly on them. he lowered his lashes to give that perfect sultry image and topped it off with a well-timed m.o.a.n.

Kurama growled in return and the fire in his eyes made Itachi shiver in delight. If it wasn't for the knock on the door, the fox demon was certain that he'd have lept over the table and devour his mate on the desk.

"Sir, you have your next meeting in ten minutes."

Itachi froze for a second before telling Tenten that he would be there.

"My apologies, work calls. Will I see you at home?" he asked. His voice was hopeful and Kurama found himself agreeing to it even though he didn't quite have that intention initially. He still needed to settle a few more things before he could settle down by Itachi's side. Just what kind of charm did Itachi put over him, making him agree so easily?

Kiba and Ino were walking around town when they sensed malice. Exchanging glances, the duo ran to the top of the roof to get a better view.

"Is that...?"

Ino nodded. "I guess we know now what they're disguising as. Let's report back."

Kiba nodded and they returned to the den. From where they were, the stench of snakes was coming from the harbour. It didn't take a genius to find out who the mastermind was. Kakashi did mention Danzo was in town and they would have to sniff near Root Inc. to know who else the snakes were working with.

When Kakashi received the news, he forwarded the information to Kurama who then decided to make preparations. If dinner was at seven, it meant that he only had about four hours to finish his business before preparing dinner and waiting for Itachi to come home.

What a busy day!
