Marvel: A Symbiotic Life

Gwen Stacy's POV,

As far as Gwen knew her day started off with getting a coffee from Starbucks, but it ended up here. In an abandoned warehouse.

"Please! You have the wrong person…" she said, her voice weak, tied down by ropes, in a corner of the warehouse. The place was shabby as it gets, dusty, cob-webs filled, broken, and shaded windows from where bȧrėly any light sparkled through. The floor beneath her was cold, and so was the person that was looking down on her.

She could see different run-of-the-mill broken machinery, it looked like a factory of some kind, she guessed.

"This is getting very annoying…" A man spoke, who previously introduced him as Max, but she didn't trust him. Not one bit, you don't believe your kidnapper unless you are in a shitty romance novel. "And for the last time, you aren't kidnapped. How should I say this…"

Max was tall with a moderate build, maybe six feet, light brown-skinned, maybe from Indian origin, she guessed. He had sharp gray eyes, clean shaved, and had a head full of dark hair. He wasn't bad to look at or anything but he definitely looked pissed off. Which was bad for her… usually these situations didn't end up well for the victim.

"Please, you—you are making a mistake. Maybe you have the wrong girl." She said in a pleading voice. The first rule in the rulebook if you get kidnapped, try to win over the kidnapper's sympathy, she was very thankful for those lessen her father —who also happened to be the police chief of New York— gave.

Max opened his mouth, before closing it, he sighed in frustration. "This will be quick if I just showed you…" He said.

"You-You are making a mistake… You don't know who my father is…" Gwen half expected him to pull his pants down and show her something…something perverted. And so, she half-closed her eyes.

But he didn't, she was relieved, kinda… No, she would definitely scream if he did.

But what she saw, would give her goosebumps for the rest of her life. His body started getting covered in dark blue goo, it looked almost black in this light-less area. It covered from head to toe, his eyes slight in comma-shaped as if he was wearing a mask, and his body was getting bigger, with bulkier muscles and everything.

Soon, he was big in size and looked a lot scary than he previously was. By contrast, he looked way better when he was wearing his brown jacket and black pants, at least he looked human. But this… Gwen was so scared that she didn't even dare to make a noise.

She tried to ball up in the corner, maybe if she didn't move, he would just go away. And all this could be over. Yeah, tough luck.

"This is what you call a Klynter a symbiotic alien race." He said, his voice was almost scary as his appearance, even had an echoing effect. Gwen just nodded, even if he called himself an arch-angle she would have nodded. This definitely wasn't in the rulebook!

"And you have one of them inside you…" she nodded again. But then she stopped, what did he mean inside her? As in inside… was she… was she giving birth to… so did he bring her here to lay alien eggs. Suddenly Gwen felt the floor sway beneath her, her body wobbly, her vision was fuzzy.

"Hey! You listening…" The giant monstrosity said, as she was woken upright. This wasn't the time to be weak, what has happened… has happened. She now just hoped that after all of this was over she could go back to having a normal life.

But laying alien eggs, that was, no maybe he was saying something else. Don't get over yourself, Gwen.

Max frowned, before reverting back to being human. "Hey, I am sorry if the webs are tight… It's just I couldn't take the risk of you escaping…" He said, then frowning again. "Wait it came out wrong…"

Gwen just nodded along with what he said, she just hoped that all of this was a bad dream. And she would wake up soon… please someone wake me up— she thought.

"Anyway, so I have extracted most of the symbiote out." He said, pulling up a glass container that was at least her arm's length. "But you still have some symbiote in your system. So if you do turn, you should know, that when you do… you will be at least ten times stronger than a normal human and will have super reflexes, so try punching people mordantly when you do and don't blow their heads off. But I am half sure as to you losing control or not."

Gwen looked at him, then at the glass container, where a red liquid was swimming. What was he saying, she being stronger? And symbiote… she turning? All of this was making her head spin, maybe someone had put something in her coffee and all of this was just an illusion.

Yeah, that could be the case and she would wake up from this anytime soon. After waking up she would laugh at all of this, but she would first make sure who spiked her drink… This wasn't real… this wasn't real… Like a mantra she started repeating those words in her mind, thinking that would get her out of trouble.
