Marvel: The Strongest Avenger

Author - Thank you guys for the 100k+ viewers and 1000+ collection, its kinda amazing as this is the first fanfiction I wrote, I will continue but till the 28th of this month, chapter updates won't be regular, not like it was, due to the fact that I have an exam on that day but I won't drop for the foreseeable future, I will continue. I am not taking a break just not sure if chapter updates will be regular but most probably it might as I am writing a stockpile of chapters.

So after Captain America, the First Avenger, which is going to officially start in 4-5 Chapters or even less. Next will be Captain Marvel movie at least I hope so but before the two movies, he going to have an arc of personal development and training per see.

6 Months Later,

[May 1940]

At Wayne Manors,

"Master Bruce, Sir Jonathan and Colonel Philips are currently in your meeting room," Alfred calls out.

"I'll take it from here Alfred and thank you," Bruce said while walking to his meeting room.

"What do I owe the p.l.e.a.s.u.r.e to Colonel, for a man of your status to personally visit me," Bruce said while shaking the colonel's hand.

"We heard that you worked with Dr. Abhram Erskine during one summer for your internship and that you kept a pretty close relationship with him," said Colonel Philips while observing Bruce to see any fluctuation in his emotions.

(Bruce)"Ah, yes I did, one of the greatest minds I worked with, but he really didn't let me do any important work just barely help him in the laboratory when he did tests and some paperwork as he rarely trusted anyone, Why did you ask sir?, Did anything happen to him?"

C.h.e.s.ter looks at Jonathan to which he nods then C.h.e.s.ter looks back and says, "We believe that Dr. Erskine is in a HYDRA stronghold, a nazi scientific organisation against his will. We sent multiple agents to rescue him but we always fall short."

Jonathan continues, "Bruce, did you recently have any connections with him?"

(Bruce)"Almost a year ago, he did say that he felt like he was being followed and that he was going to try and cross the border, I thought he was just trying to settle down in peace, but that looks like that was unsuccessful and I believe the reason your agents do not come back is because they are getting insider information." to which C.h.e.s.ter and Jonathan both frown.

(Jonathan)"That's a serious accusation Bruce, do you have any proof to back up your word, and just so you, everyone that works close to us are clean as we did an internal check on them"

(Bruce)"I didn't mean it like that Uncle John, I meant higher up and we can never be too careful,"

(C.h.e.s.ter)"Ok, let's just say, you are correct, and even if you are we can't clean up that mess as we will be digging our graves so how do you propose in rescuing Dr. Erskine" to which Bruce raises one of his eyebrows.

(Bruce)"You are correct about that Colonel, but I propose a new Initiative in which only the President of this country knows about, we claim him as a rogue soldier but in reality only a couple of people knows his identity, as he works from the shadows and even if he joins a battlefield he is a man with a mask, as he brings hope to any American Soldiers as he could be anyone but the lack of information about him makes him the Devil to his enemies, he would not get any recognition just his avatar would. Finally whoever we disclose this information to must be the most trustworthy people in this world and even the heads of the national defenses forces along with the tri-forces wouldn't know, as he is the man in the shadow of all victories"

Jonathan and C.h.e.s.ter remain silent while pondering about Bruce's comment.

C.h.e.s.ter stares right back at Bruce while pronouncing, "And if we do, start this new Initiative, his first mission would be to rescue the Doctor, and we will only start this Initiative if he succeeds and only people in this room would know about it and in the future only people who are part of this Initiative will know about his identity even the top dogs of S.S.R or its successor would not. But most importantly, WHO IN THE RIGHT MIND WOULD WANT TO BE THE MAN IN THE SHADOWS?"

(Jonathan)"C.h.e.s.ter, I think I know the perfect person for that," he said while quickly glancing my way but it was ignored by the Colonel.

C.h.e.s.ter says while getting up and shaking his head, "Jonathan, you will contact him and let him go through the mission, make sure he doesn't know who we are yet and if we do succeed I have hell lot of explaining and paperwork to do, to start up a secret initiative that even the top dogs of this country as no idea about"

(Jonathan) "I meet you later C.h.e.s.ter, I have to talk to Bruce about something," I said while C.h.e.s.ter leaves the room."So you gonna be the man in the shadow?" to which Bruce just grins, which leads me to unconsciously shake my head as I know I won't be able to convince him not to, "So when are you leaving for Germany..."

Somewhere in England,

(???) "I call this meeting, as an foreign agent we yet have to identify, broke into Intelligence and copied all the information regarding Dr. Erskine. So... what does the MI5 and MI6 have to say about this"

(?) "WE HAVE NO INFORMATION ON THIS PERSON, NONE HE'S A GHOST,"

(??) "It must be the Russians"

(????) "Ridiculous, he must be German"

(?) "We don't know if "it" is a she or a he," he said gloomily

(???) "Silence, no point arguing who "it" is, put our best agents, he must have left a clue, I give your authorization to use everything to find who he is, if he is so good he must be well known."

(??) "What are we going to do about the Rescue mission on the Doctor"

(?) "Agent Carter, codename, Phoenix, is infiltrating the base, let her continue as we can't possibly inform her soon,"

(??) "But her chances of not returning as increased"

(?) " This is risk of the work we do, nothing we can do about it, make sure to give a good pension to the family as from what is in the file, a brother is KIA in the front lines and she is the only remaining child of the parents."

(???) "Find out who the mystery individual is, MEETING DISMISS"
