Me? Oh I’m Kali, Kali Green

Time skip: 1 Year

Through these past couple of months there was only one thing I was focused on, and that was my KI. I have done everything I can to master my KI and make it my own I learned how to control it fully and now I can manifest and use it through my mind without moving, but it is slow without my hand and body movements, I did my best to increase the capacity of my KI as much as I can and it resulted in my KI sense expanding to 3,000 meters, and as for my KI strength I can say picking up a school bus with KI telekinesis effortlessly isn't an exaggeration.

During the nights I go on night patrols to keep the area safe and get experience using my KI, picking up heavy things telekinetically and making it float around me to get used to the weights, while also getting better at multitasking that way I'll be able to summon or manifest many chains, weapons, or anything useful while also strengthening it. I wore all black and used a black shirt to cover my head other than my blue eyes and wore a jacket hoodie.

There is one thing I accomplished this year that I was truly happy about, and that was flight. Yeah flight, it took more than half a year to learn it but I finally had enough KI to move me around and super sonic in the air like superman. The moment I learned to float and flight I spent the whole day flying but tried my best to stay out of sight, and it really opened up a new world for me, using the KI all around the air I pushed and pull making me able to take flight and stay afloat.

Over the year I was able to 'excel' and bring my KI into a new level that is stronger than the small time superheroes, but I'm talking about my normal form if i were to use my green version of super saiyan and monstrous KI strength skills than they definitely wouldn't stand a chance. I can't say I'm stronger than Thor or Hulk though as they are in a whole different league, yes I surpass human physique and power but I can't guarantee if I'm even strong enough to go toe to toe with them. I feel I might be faster than the two but strength wise I wasn't even close, sure my body and KI are extremely strong and durable to most but there is still many I need to work through.

On the other side [Overwatch] has grown more members and spread around the city, Mitch, Karen, and Davis were curious and wondered about their new immortality life and thought about doing a few dangerous things. Though thats only for the future as the [Overwatch] group is still a newborn in front of titans.

Other than that the restaurant [Dragon's Tongue] became one of the top ten restaurant in in all of New York, we had to move some things to make space and bring in the extra tables since it's always full and many waiting on the door making a line. My 5 student chefs became true experienced chefs as everyday I was teaching them something new, it became a natural to make the menus dishes and meal for customers. Everyone became better and improved their working skills and smarts, perfect coordination with the servers.

I was getting known in Chinatown too as the [Father of the Tongue], father representing me as I took in a bunch of brats and punks giving them a job and a place to stay and the 'Tongue' representing the restaurant. I was interviewed a few times but they didn't get much out of me rather than the basics and how I was self taught chef and not a certified chef, and some were surprised but I didn't care as it didn't decrease my customers. The restaurant gets full and busy almost everyday, good reviews, happy customers, and unhappy restaurant rivals. Some 'customers' tried to cause trouble only to be kicked out by my three students Charles, Markus, and Zhang.

For the past couple of months these three have been working hard and meditating just as, they have grown a bit taller but Markus grew the most and is now at the same height as Zhang. Their bodies started packing small and lean-like muscles, and their progress with their KI is good as they can now use KI to enforce their bodies becoming stronger. Their training manuals went up a notch and now it's 200 push ups, sit ups and so on and they decided on using weights on their legs and hands which made me kind of proud. I started teaching them martial arts and they got down the basics of a few styles over the year.

Today is August of 2006, and today was just another peaceful day or thats what I thought. Today I sat in my couch and watched tv upstairs in the living room while the kids were in the restaurant down stairs taking care of the place. I trust them enough to keep the place running, but every once in a while I go down and make a few dishes for a bit before doing whatever I feel. As I laid lazily on the couch I sensed something so I activate my KI sense and found a few men in the restaurant with an energy I feel familiar with yet also unfamiliar.

'That must be chi' I thought, There were about 15 men and they seemed to be on the lookout for something, but that's not what caught my eye. The thing that moved my senses was a young man sitting alone on one side of the restaurant, he was alone and was having a nice lunch ordering a few dishes in the menu. The guys CHI seemed massive not as big or strong as my KI but it's massive comparing it to the others in the restaurant. I focused on him for a bit when he seemed to notice something and looked around feeling watched before shrugging and got back to eating. Then I sensed someone entering the restaurant, it was a girl but I felt her to be in panic and is breathing heavily due to running for a while. The men that were together around 15 of them all looked to the girl as if they found what they were looking for. I sighted and turned off the tv and walked downstairs to the dining area, as I got there the 15 men were all standing up while the young man that was eating alone a moment ago was standing between the girl and the group of men seeming to protect the girl, this whole group was chinese.

Charles, Markus, and Zhang seeing the potential situation walked forward in ready of stopping it, but I put up my hand stopping them. Even though these three were strong and knew how to use a little KI they would probably not stand a chance if the 15 men or young man could use CHI to attack.

"Gentlemen, gentlemen." I walked up between them and said

"Please if you are about to start a mess do it outside, not in my restaurant." I said with a smile though no one seemed hear me and ignored me.

But one of the men in the group that was closest to me looked annoyed and put his hand on my shoulder about to hit me when he was suddenly on the floor knocked out. Everyone looked at the knocked out man shocked, they didn't see what happened but they know it was me as they saw my hand flicker but couldn't see it land. They all looked at me including the uninvolved customers, I looked at the now 14 men and let out my KI pressuring them.

"I said. Get. Out. You are causing a scene and you if you break a fork you will have to pay." I said as I looked the group of gangs

The 14 men looked at me shocked and angry with a tinge of fear creeping, the guy that stood in front of the girl was shocked and had a smile on his face staring at me. But when everyone wasn't paying attention another men that seemed to be with the 15 men showed up out of nowhere and grabbed the girl in question with reinforcements.

She screamed and yelled asking for help, the man holding her wasn't on panic but was calm just holding her. The man calmly looked at me and the guy that was with her and me.

"Sorry to disturb but everything is alright now, so I am gonna have to ask you to not get involved in something that is way above you." He said as he pulled the girl and pushed her to the men who is reinforcements behind him and put his hand behind his back.

"Let's go." Seeing me and the other guy standing there not saying anything he said to the group of 14 as they picked up the unconscious man I knocked out walking past me and the guy that was eating peacefully. The guy wanted to move in intercepting but I stopped him and shook my head as he just had a questioning look. And we just watch the girl get taken away by the group of gangsters in suits.

"You have a plan?" The young Chinese guy said looking at me as I was the one who stopped him, the guy was around his early 20's probably still a teenager but I wasn't sure, the young man was wearing red sportswear sweats and long red sleeved sports shirt that has zipper on the collar area.

"Maybe." I said as he frowned a little bit.

"But I do know that the best way to truly get rid of a weed is to remove the roots." I said with a smile

"Hehe, Shang-Chi great to meet a fellow martial arts master." Shang-Chi said and put out his hand on a shake which I shook, he thought for a bit about my riddle before getting it and was glad

"Shang-Chi? Kali, Kali Green." I asked and introduced myself, I was surprised that the guy in my building would be Shang-Chi, Marvels master martial artist and CHI user, the Bruce Lee of Marvel, the young talented street criminal fighter. I wanted to talk more but I'm sensing the group of men getting farther.

"Yes, I am visiting the United States going where the wind takes me and look for my tru-." He was about to continue when I interrupted him

"I'm gonna stop you there, and if we don't follow the group of men that took your lady friend than we'll lose them." I said as I walked out of the building with Shang-Chi following me as the kids did their best to apologize and calm the customers of the sudden interruption.

"She is not my friend, I just saw her bad situation and decided to help." Shang-Chi said as he followed behind me

I nodded but thought 'Of course you did, after all you are a superhero'.

As we ran and followed group of chinese men that took the girl and in a van right now, we ended up in the upstate of new york. Me and Shang-Chi stood on top of a building rooftop looking at the mansion, we scanned the area and planned a way in. Shang-Chi's priorities were the girl they took, so we decided he will look for the girl while I wasted the criminals and this bad of theirs.

"Stay here for a minute." I said before flying off.

"Huh, where you goi-" he didn't finish when he realized I just flew and was jaw dropped.

I flew in the territory of the mansion and grabbed a guard who was on watch and flew back to the rooftop Shang-Chi was on, who still had his mouth open in awe, he was about to ask questions like how can I fly but I just put up my hand.

"We could always talk later." I said as he nodded, I threw the guard on the roof as he crawled backwards after waking up from his shock, he grabbed his gun and was about to fire when Shang-Chi back kicked the gun away. The guard stopped moving when he almost fell on the edge.

"Where is the girl?" I questioned him as I grabbed his collar and held him hanging in the air close to falling with only my arm holding him before his death. He yelled out in Chinese which I know shitt about.

"What is he saying?" I looked back at the worried Shang-Chi.

"He is saying that she is in the mansion." Shang-Chi translated worryingly as he didn't want me to actually drop the guy. I looked back at the guard annoyingly.

"I know she is in the place you dipshitt why do you think we ar- *sigh* which part?" I asked

"In the wine cellar." Shang-Chi translated quickly as I nodded and knocked the guard out before throwing him to the other side of the roof, and Shang-Chi just sighing in relief which made me chuckle.

"Alright you head for the cellar and I'll go make some noise." I said and flew up

Shang-Chi nodded before splitting and ran in through a window going to the cellars. I flew up and sped down destroying the roof making a loud booming noise. I landed and the smoke and dust went everywhere, I stood there scanning the area full of men that was full on alert.

As the smoke and dust cleared up the group of men calmed down a bit knowing it is just one man and a 'normal' looking human at that, but they didn't ignore the fact that he blew in through the building and still looked unharmed. The group of men started taking fighting stances, guess the place is full of martial artists. The men were wearing suits but the ones that looked to be of high status were the ones garbed in the fashion of warriors of ancient China. After a minute and some of hesitation they finally attacked, they were all really slow for me and dodging was the only thing I did.

The group had large amounts of CHI in them with the robed old men having the most, I could sense it, but having it and knowing how to use it is two different things, if they knew how to use it than it wouldn't be crazy to say I stumbled in a HAND base. After dodging for a bit and not seeing anyone able to use the CHI in them I decided thats enough for now.

A punch was making its way to my head but I just moved my head back and threw my fist sideways hitting the c.h.e.s.t of one of the robed elders sending him into the walls breaking it. The rest paused halfway through their attack and stared at one of their elders, and looked back at me.

"Well I guess it's time to wrap up, why don't you guys go to sleep for now, oh and don't take it personal." I said as I put my hand up in the air and grabbed the air as a giant green handle showed up on my hand and it manifested into a giant hammer. Yes I was thinking of Thors hammer, well a giant one.

I swung it around sending everyone into oblivion, into the dream world, the power, the control, the energy, it feels amazing I looked at the giant hammer which got me into thinking. Shitt it's like I'm green lantern, constructing green matter into forms of my imagination? That's definitely green lanterns thing. Guess I'm green lantern with KI as my power source, but I would definitely stomp GL if we were to go head to head. I had stronger energy, longer lasting energy and better control. These thoughts kept me going on more as I walked around the building hammering the residents in the head.

On Shang-Chi's side

As Shang-Chi went through a few rooms before finding her in a wine testing room or something, she was chained on the legs and sitting on a bed crying. Taking out the rest of the troublesome men he ran to the room and kicked the door down, he didn't check if the door was locked or not but kicking it down must be a more cooler way. Kicking the door in scared her as she yelped, Shang-Chi walked in and looked at the girl black hair Chinese with some American features. He smiled and put his hand out.

"Let's go." He said before she grabbed his hand they ran out but it was only Shang-Chi, he looked back at her still standing there.

"Is everything okay?" Shang-Chi asked
