Me? Oh I’m Kali, Kali Green

"Uh well I'm still chained." She smiled awkwardly as she pointed at her feet.

"Oh. Right" Shang-Chi said as he went and got her off it.

"Oh and I'm Shang-Chi." He said as he took her hands and ran out with her.

"Thanks. Linda, Linda Fong." She said right behind him

As they ran back up the stairs she saw the bodies of the men that took her and then some, she was just in shock and amazed at how one man can take down these goons who are master martial artists. But what she didn't know was that they were only average for Shang-Chi, as they ran up the stairs a heavy and loud tremor went out and it took the two out of balance knocking back to the walls with their backs.

"Wh- what was that?!" Linda asked scared and held on tightly to Shang-Chi

"Well if I'm not wrong then thats our friend making the noise, but if not... well let's go I have high hopes for it being him." Shang-Chi said as they continued on.

When they went out of the lower floors of the mansion they were shocked, men lying everywhere not sure if they are dead or not, walls blown off, ceilings missing, it's nothing they have ever seen before. While they were walking around in shock another tremor went out and a couple of people yelling, on one of the ceilings that were blown out, men were falling down like they were blown off from a truck. Shang-Chi and Linda ran to the giant hole in the ceiling and looked up but Linda was a little unwilling and scared, and with that Shang-Chi smiled and looked at Linda.

"It's him I was right, come on let's go." He said as he looked at Linda

"Uh I'm sure your friend can handle it by the looks of it and I don- aagghhhhhh." She looked down at the bodies that fell and said but couldn't finish when Shang-Chi grabbed her princess style and jumped up on a bookshelf before going up the ceiling hole.

"Oh my god you can't jus-" Linda was about to complain when she noticed Shang-Chi wasn't paying attention to her and looked somewhere else.

She followed his eyes and saw something phenomenal, something definitely impossible in the world she was in. Shang-Chi on the other hand had a wide exciting smile on his face as he looked at the person in front of him in action. Kali who was standing there with green glowing like chains around him chaining up about more than 20 scared men and they were screaming and begging but it doesn't seem like Kali is listening or noticing them. On the other hand he had his big giant Mjolnr green hammer holding it with two hands and swinging it expressionlessly at the terrified men. The hammer was enough to take their lives but Kali didn't wanna just take their lives, though he felt it would be easier if he just killed them and get it over with he decided to hold off on that. After hammering the last group of men he waves his hand dismissing the green projectiles of weapons and chains, he cracked his neck left and right when he saw the two.

"Oh Shang-Chi, took you long enough but hey I'm not complaining I had some fun of my own, hehe." I said walking to them then I saw the girl

"Oh so you got your girl huh? That's good." I said as Shang-Chi was calm denying they were together but the girl was kind of blushing denying it frantically.

"Hahaha I'm just messing with you two young kids, oh and I'm Kali Green. I would say it's nice to meet you but uh.." i said as I looked around indicating the mess.

"But I'm glad your safe my friend here was real worried about you." I said

"Linda Fong, and I truly thank you two for coming to my rescue I don't know what would have happens if I stayed any longer." She said in freight

"Whey were they looking for you in the first place? In fact we don't even know who these guys are we just came with you on our mind, for all we knew we were going against some government secret agency or something and you might be a very very bad young lady." I said

"No no its nothing like that... it's- it was my father, he- it was his men that you guys took down. My father is- he's-." Linda was hesitating to say or just denying it

"Spit it out young lady." I said in an exasperated tone

"He- he is the Adder." She said looking at us waiting to be shocked

"..."

"..."

"Who da f.u.c.k's the Adder?!" I said in a questioning look Shang-Chi was no different

"You- you don't know who the Adder is?!" She asked shocked but we both just shook our heads

"The Adder gang?!" She asked again just for us to shake our head.

"Have you been living under a ro- the Adder- my father was a crime lord in the drug world he works with heroin and sells it across the city and became one of the ric.h.e.s.t in new york, but nobody knows his real identity as he doesn't make appearances but the people call him the Adder because his prices and quality keeps on adding up getting better. A few days ago I found out he was the Adder and I was scared not knowing what to do and ran away today but he just sent his men out to get me, and his men are expert martial artists and not many people wanna mess with them." She said her story

I was standing there with a raised eyebrow, as she said her story. Shang-Chi was on the side nodding and entirely innocent listening to her stories I was wondering if this is part of some origin story for Shang-Chi as I don't know much about Shang-Chi other than him being a badass martial artists and then some. I looked at Linda.

"Where is your father?" I asked straightforward interrupting her story.

"I- I don't know he would have came down to the cellar to talk to me but he never did, so I thought- wait you guys didn't encounter him?" She asked

*sigh* I sighted spreading my senses around the place and I found or sensed a few men in what seems like a secret room.

"Does your father have a secret room?" I asked Linda

"I- I don't know I've never seen any secret room in this building." She said

"Let's go."

As we walked out of the room Linda led us to a room on the top floor, we entered but no one was in but on the wall side full of bookshelves I feel a few energies in there. I moved the bookshelves and kicked the wall in making a hole dust flying everywhere. In the room was a group standing with guns and weapons, men with suits had guns and robed men had sword like weapons. Behind them was a man sitting on a table glaring at us in anger, he was Chinese and had the same ancient Chinese robes as some and was themed green and black. This makes me wonder why a lot of bad guys wear green, hell I might be just a villain in the future if I wear green long enough.

"Fathe-" Linda wanted to speak but the father wouldn't let her

"So it was her who you came for, fine then you got her LEAVE! You have already caused me enough troubles, I don't need an offspring causing more chaos in my life's work." He yelled out

"So this old mans the Adder huh?" I said in a teasing tone he looked like he was on the edge of going crazy, he must not like people knowing his true identity, maybe thats why he send his men after his daughter.

"Aahh don't waste my time and get out or I will use fo-" he was interrupted

"Father please stop this, you don't need to do this we could just start ov-" then she was also interrupted by her father

"Aahh daughter, you don't need to say anything with that mouth of yours, you have disappointed me already and cause me great dissatisfaction. I don't need a naive little girl who can't handle reality and always stay in under the wings of those always doing their best to work and do what is necessary." He said saying every word intently

This went on for a bit back and forth father daughter argument, the daughter wanting to not let go of the image she had on her father who was a smiling proud man and loving father, and a father not willing to let go of his criminal kingdom, not even for his daughter. Me and Shang-Chi just stood back letting them have their moments, the goons who were between this family were feeling a little awkward being in the middle of this family drama.

"Aaaaggghhh why do I waste my time on this nonsense, shoot just shoot kill them all!!" Adder yelled out, his real name being Robert Fong which Linda told us. He was publicly known as a rich trader and collector but known as the Adder in the underworld.

The goons finally shot their bullets Shang-Chi panicked and stood in front of Linda covering her as she covered her head and screamed. I waves my hand sideways making a green transparent like barrier where the bullets fell, after a while of shooting and nothing happened they stopped and look for other solutions. But I just slapped my hand down slapping the air, when a several palm sized hands appeared on top of the goons and slapped them down knocked out.

Seeing him the only one left the Adder springed up from his chair unconsciously walking back in fear, he tried to speak but couldn't, I just slapped him knocking him out.

"So what do you wanna do with him?" I asked looking at Linda

After an hour me and Shang-Chi were standing on the same rooftop we were on a while ago looking at the police force surrounding the property, Linda was down there with police debriefing her about the happenings tonight.

"So where to next? Plan on staying in manhattan for a while or you gonna move on about?" I asked as I floated with cross arms next to Shang-Chi.

"I will go back to my home." Shang-Chi said with a smile

"I have come to the U.S. saying I was following where the winds take me and finding my true purpose in life, but in truth I was running from my demons that was full in my home, the situation tonight gave me some deep thoughts and so I plan on going back to China." Shang-Chi said

"Hmm alright well you are always welcome at [Dragon's Tongue] if your in the area. And call me if you ever need a hand on your missions in life." I said patting his shoulder.

I stayed there for a bit talking about things about this and that, Linda met up with us soon and decoded to go with Shang-Chi, he warmed her of the dangers he war running to but she didn't budge. By the time we said our goodbyes it was already around midnight at 11:28.

I flew home but stopped when I saw a drug store, thought about it and went in and coming out with a pack of cigarettes. It's been a while. I flew up to the skies, and put a cigarette in my mouth and use KI to light up the thing, taking a deep inhale before exhaling out smoke and it gave me the usual familiar high that cigarettes gives me. And i thank god literally that he didn't let the immortality blood take my 'ability' to get high and whatnot.

After a few more stokes I super sonic my way home when I felt three familiar KI energies nearby, I stopped and head that way instead wondering whats up. And I ended up in the roof looking down on an alley and what I saw... made me wanna laugh I had to put my hand on my mouth to not laugh out loud. Down in that alley there was my three idiot students down there, and what they wore made me want to laugh, Zhang had a shirt covering his face other than his eyes, Markus had a scarf wrapped around his mouth and nose and Charles had an eye mask where he cut holes for his eyes to see through.

At first I thought these three were up to no good again but when I saw the face masks and such I couldn't help but think otherwise, it was funny how they dressed up but still I'm quite happy that they wanted to follow a path like this; yup they were wearing mask and going out tonight to 'patrol' wanting to be vigilantes.

The three of them were truly idiots, they were following a lady trying to keep her safe for the night incase she runs into trouble, I would have thought that they had ill intentions if I didn't hear their 'brilliant' plan.

Flashback...

"Okay so here is the thing there is a really high chance that someone would get robbed, r.a.p.ed, or killed in the city and we've seen it happen enough times to know it's true, so my plan is we go and look for anyone who is in trouble and stick to them keeping them safe." Zhang said, after 1 year he started to change and felt more safe being in the house with us all, and working in one of the top 10 restaurants in New York gives him many benefits. Like working out $20+ an hour for a year plus bonuses, he started liking the internet and brought a computer and he would be on it almost every time you would see him unless he had work or tasks to do.

"Hmm sounds good to me." Said Markus, he as well got comfortable staying at the restaurant. The boy is truly an embodiment of anger walking around getting angry about everything, but he does well to protect all his 'brothers' and 'sisters'. I guess staying in a cramped house full of kids for a year would get you closer and softer. But he still has problems with everyone other than the residents of the restaurant, the kids would tease him every chance they get once they get to know him better. He keeps up a tough act outside but the kids knew he has a warm heart inside of him and would always yell at the group of kids at home if they did something wrong but we all knew he was on the tough love method. Other than that he uses a lot of his time meditating and working out trying to get stronger.

"That sounds more like a stalking plan but if it really did work than we could jump out at the perfect time and save her. The hero's always have the great timing and all." Said Charles, he is the most talented of the three, good at mediations and training. He was the oldest of the three and all three of them are a big pillar for the kids back home, they handle the trouble makers and protect the kids. They are like the big brothers of the family and are deeply depended on by the kids, Charles was the socializer of the three and he had great relationsh.i.p.s with everyone. He was also the teaser and loved to make fun and laugh at everyone but they were mostly harmless jokes and such, he was loved by everyone and had a natural charm. So with the three there was the charismatic Charles, the always grumpy Markus, and the careless Zhang. A typical three.

When I overhead their plan I was shocked and dumbfounded by the idiocy level they had, I couldn't help but fly up to the sky and let out my laugh. And now here we are sitting on the roof observing the trio idioto, but what they didn't know was that the lady already noticed them and freaked out walking faster thinking they are stalkers and such. I held my stomach and mouth trying not to laugh out loud, when they were following her she turned on a corner while the three followed quietly and slowly, when they turned on the corner she was gone when they looked across the street they saw her ran for her life escaping the three stalkers.

"Wait we were only trying to-" Zhang yelled out but stopped when Charles put his hands on his shoulders saying she's long gone giving all three a long sigh.

"PFFTTTT AHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHHAH" A deafening laughter boomed out scaring them as they formed a three back to back formation in ready for potential threats. They looked around until Charles saw me floating down surprised, shocked and embarrassed. When they all looked at me they were shocked seeing me floating down.

"Bahahah I can not hold it anymore, you three really are idiots!! I yelled out dying of laughter holding my stomach and pointing at the three. Markus had an angry face, while the other two was pretty embarrassed.

"Come on kids you didn't think stalking to 'safe' someone was actually a great plan was it?!" I said wiping tears off my eyes as I was laughing too hard.
