Meeting Them

Jin's POV

I couldn't believe this. None of the members remember my birthday. Have they forgotten about my existence? I'm their oldest hyung and this is how they treat me. I thought that when Se Jin hyung came and fetch me and he said that we will be having dinner. I was expecting for my birthday surprise but surprisingly there's nothing. I entered the room with disappointment and couldn't even see any decoration or any signs of them planning a surprise for me. I was trying to be positive by telling myself that they do have something for me. Until the end of the dinner, I still don't see anything. I don't dare to put my hopes too high. As I was dwelling in my own thoughts, the lights went off.

"Guys where are you all?" I said frantically because I'm scared of the dark.

When no one replied me, I started panicking by standing up trying to feel what is around me. I touched a sense of warmth so I walk towards that direction.

"Hyung it's me Jimin ah." Jimin said.

"Jimin what happened? How come the lights suddenly went off?" I said.

"I don't know maybe it cause by short circuit." Jimin said.

"Ah. But don't they have a backup power supply." I said.

"Come with me hyung." Jimin said.

"Oh ok." I hold Jimin hyung while walking with him.

As we were walking towards this direction, I could see light coming from there. Finally there's no darkness anymore. When I entered the room, I was shocked to see all the members there including Lilac standing right in front of me. And I could see Jung Kook holding a cake while everyone looked at me.

"Happy birthday to you, happy birthday to you, happy birthday to Jin hyung. Happy birthday to you." Everyone sang and I was moved to tears.

"Omo I thought you guys had forgotten about it." I said.

"Jin hyung come and make a wish then blow the candle first." Nam Joon said.

"Ok." I walked towards them and make a wish then I blew the candle off.

"Hyung how could we forget your birthday. This is what we have done for 30 minutes so that we

could prepare a proper birthday celebration for you." Yoon Gi said.

"I'm really touched. Seriously. But the part where you guys played the blackout just now really scares the shit out of me. You all know I'm scared of the dark and still you guys did this to me." I said.

"Aww hyung come on. It's a part of surprise." J-Hope said.

"Alright. I'll forgive you guys since it's my birthday. Thank you all for doing this for me." I said.

"It's just a small appreciation for you hyung." Tae Hyung said.

"But still thank you all so much." I said.

After that small celebration, my mood was lifted up and I felt better. I enjoyed the rest of the night with them playing games and we went back quite late because we couldn't stop playing until Se Jin hyung called Nam Joon to warn us to go back early.
