Meeting Them

Hazel's POV

I was wondering who was ringing the door bell so early in the morning. I finish up washing the dishes quickly and went and open the door. Turns out it was Lilac. I wonder what is she doing here. At first I didn't notice that there was someone else with her because that person is hiding behind the wall. Judging from the feature, I could guess that it's a guy.

"Hazel how are you?" Lilac asked.

"Hey Lilac. I'm fine." I replied.

"Urmm…. Is Hanuel at home?" Lilac asked.

"Yeah why? She's upstairs studying. Let's not stand by the door. Come in." I replied.

"Actually I brought a friend as well. Is it ok with you? He's here to meet Hanuel." Lilac said.

"Sure. I'll call her first. You both come in and sit down. Make yourself at home." I said.

"Hanuel-ah come down. Someone is here to see you." I shouted from the stairs because I was too lazy to walk upstairs and our house is not soundproof.

"Ok coming." Hanuel's voice could be heard from her room.

I went to the kitchen to make some tea. When I come out from the kitchen, Hanuel is not down yet.

"Here have some tea." I said while pouring tea for Lilac and her friend.

"Is it ok if I take Hanuel out for a walk? There's something I want to talk to her in private." the guy said.

I'm actually quite unwilling to let Hanuel go out with an unknown guy. But since he's Lilac's friend, I guess he could be trusted. So I decided to let her go with him.

"Sure." I said.

"Sis who is it that wants to meet me?" Hanuel said.

"That would be me. Do I have the honor to take you out for a walk? There's some private thing I need to ask you." the guy said.

"Uhhh..... Sure." Hanuel said.

I wonder what would they be talking about. Before I could think further, my train of thoughts was being cut by Lilac's voice.

"Hey Hazel." Lilac said.

"Huh what?" I said in a dazed.

"I've been talking to you since just now. What's wrong?" Lilac said.

"Sorry I was just thinking about stuff. What did you ask me just now?" I said.

"Oh. I was asking you why didn't you come to uni these few days?" Lilac asked.

"I was not feeling well. Maybe because of the weather. Also maybe it because every year at this time, I would usually get sick so I got used to it already. Sorry for making you worry." I said apologetically.

"Nah it's fine. I should have called you first before coming today but I forgot. Luckily you're at home. I will not hide from you. That guy just now was Jin of BTS. He wants to meet Hanuel because he felt that Hanuel was his long-lost childhood friend." Lilac explained.

A very uncomfortable feeling spread in me and I know what is it.

'No I can't be jealous of Hanuel. I have been always better than her. Moreover he's not the one I like.'

"Oh. I see. Here's I was wondering who is that." I said calmly.

"Oh. By the way, I've been wanting to ask you this. Where are your parents?" Lilac asked.

"My dad is out working and Hanuel's mom is somewhere shopping I think." I said disdainfully.

"Sorry for asking. I was just curious." Lilac said.

"No it's not your fault. I just don't have the love towards my dad anymore and just hatred for that bitch that breaks my family apart." I said.

"Ok." Lilac said.

I was going to ask her more but I didn't when I heard the house door opening. What I saw next makes me burn in anger! Hanuel and Jin holding hands. 'Why? Why must she be so happy? Why does she gets all the good things but not me?' Even though I was frustrated I didn't show it. I don't want people to think that I have anger issues.
