Miss Ordinary: I Was Reborn To Love You!

Chapter 14 - Where can we find such a beautiful lady?

Then, Eric Wu began to describe the woman in his dream.

The first thing he spoke about was her eyes. The unforgettable color blue to the straight, pointed nose that seemed to complement the beautiful pink lips she had. The volume was adequate for every time she smiled, it seemed that everything else would brighten up. Her oval-shaped face was perfectly highlighted by her naturally wavy-black hair. Everything shone like her delicate skin which freed from impurities.

Eric Wu tried not to be too ill.u.s.trative. He was tempted to say how exquisite she looked when she stared far away and how tempted he was to request her to stay in her slightly dazed face. Everything that she did in his dream made him doubt that she was someone from this world. How could someone look so beautiful in everything?

"Erm, president?" Eric Wu immediately looked up when he heard his assistant's voice.

"Is it done?" he asked and looked at Mr. Yang whose eyes seemed unable to separate from the canvas in front of him.

"President, I don't know if we can find this person," Tao said in disbelieve. Eric Wu instantly frowned.

"I mean, does this person really exist? She looks… surreal?" Tao's helpless voice caused the frown on Eric Wu's forehead to deepen. Finally, he rose from his seat and moved towards them. He stood behind and looked at the canvas.

Tao referred the sketch as surreal, but right now, Eric Wu felt that this dream of his was becoming real.

At the same time, he applauded Mr. Yang's skills because even though the sketch was unfinished, every detail that he spoke of was drawn perfectly.

"Mr. Yang, nice drawing. When can I receive the finished product?" he asked.

Mr. Yang was startled. He was too engrossed with his own sketch that his sense of hearing dulled. He immediately stood up and looked at the poised man standing behind him.

"This- Mr. Eric, I hope you can give me three days. I promise I will present a perfect portrait by then," he said without noticing that he was clenching his hands. He was really determined to finish this sketch! Even though he wasn't certain whether this person really exists, but this was by far the most beautiful sketch he had drawn.

"Then, I'll see you in three days," Eric Wu said.

"Sure. Mr. Tao can fetch the drawing at my house," Mr. Yang replied. His eyes were showing anticipation in the coming three days. He didn't notice the intended meaning in Eric Wu's sentence.

"Mr. Yang, President Eric hopes that you could deliver the portrait by yourself. By then, we'll have a little celebration here," Tao giggled as he saw Mr. Yang's blank look.

"A celebration?" he asked in bewilderment.

"Yes," Tao nodded.

"But why? I am getting paid a lot of money. I get to draw this beautiful art. What's the need for a celebration?" Mr. Yang asked.

"This-" Tao was speechless. Thankfully, the president came to the rescue.

"Mr. Yang, it's to celebrate our successful cooperation. But, if you think that it's inconvenient, we can cancel it. I will just add another sum to the payment," Eric Wu explained. This was his way of showing gratitude. If the other person was unwilling, he was fine with it.

"Ahh, there's such a treatment? Then, I'll gladly accept it," Mr. Yang was finally enlightened. He couldn't help but stare at Eric Wu in admiration.

"The celebration or the additional fee?" Tao asked with an amusing look. Mr. Yang was confused when he finally insisted on the first one.

Tao giggled after seeing the poor Mr. Yang's response. Eric Wu could only shake his head at his assistant's antic.

Not long after, it was time for Mr. Yang to leave the villa. Tao was accompanying him to his car. Along the way, they were gossiping about the villa's owner.

"Mr. Tao, is President Eric really like what the outside world described him to be?" Mr. Yang asked.

"Yes," Tao answered. His voice was certain.

"But he was so nice earlier. Are you sure?"

"As long as you are doing your role well, the president will never turn evil on you," Tao said.

"I see. What if I screwed up just now?" Mr. Yang asked, but shivered the moment he said it.

"Then, you'll become another story for the outside world," Tao said and shrugged his shoulder at the same time.

Mr. Yang beamed after listening to the evocative response from Tao. He left the villa with a substantial expression on his face.

Inside the villa, Eric Wu was still in the study room, casually sitting on a couch. The whole room was somber, a reflection of Eric Wu's current emotion. Although, it was difficult to tell what he was thinking about, for his face wasn't giving away any clue.

The solemn atmosphere was interrupted by the ringing sound of his personal phone. When he saw the caller's ID, he answered.

"Grandpa," he called.

"Grandson, grandpa is back! Tonight, I'll attend your uncle's dinner party and I want you to come too," an enthusiastic voice could be heard from the phone's built-in speaker. His tone loving yet demanding at the same time.

Hearing his grandpa's voice, Eric Wu could feel a headache coming. He automatically used his thumb and his other finger to massage his temples. A soft sigh left his lips.

"Grandpa, what kind of tour last only for three days?" he asked.

Three days ago, he had personally sent his grandpa to the Azure International Airport for his one-month tour program. He persuaded the old man to use their private jet, but he adamantly refused.

Eventually, Eric Wu conceded to his request after making sure that all the bodyguards were given a crash-course to handle any type of emergencies.

Now, not even a week, this grandpa of his announced his return.

"Hahaha, grandson, I met an old friend of mine. He is visiting our country with his daughter, so I return with them. I have invited them to your uncle's dinner party,"

"Hmm," Eric Wu sighed as he finally knew about his grandpa's real intention. The headache was now beginning to consume his brain cells because he was really helpless when dealing with his grandpa's enthusiasm to become his cupid.

Yes, Wu Tianyao: The retired master of the Wu Clan, as well as Eric Wu's grandfather, was for sure trying to hook him up with someone else's daughter again.

If there was a man Eric Wu couldn't bear to offend, it would be his grandpa. All this while, he had shooed away all the women introduced to him with his indifferent and cold demeanor. It seemed that it was time to adopt this personality again.

"Hah…" the grandson could only sigh.

"Make sure to come. I don't want to see Lu Fei appear as a replacement," the grandpa gave him a warning. Eric Wu felt his ears reddened the moment his best friend's name was mention. He had truly forgotten that he had that one friend who was willing to become a scapegoat.

"And don't send Sun Nan either. Those troublemakers will only make things worse," the grandpa complained. Once again, Eric Wu was ecstatic. Sun Nan was his other friend and a good scapegoat as well.

"Sure," he gave a reply with his lips curved. Tonight, these troublemakers needed to help him. Eric Wu got up from the couch, laughing.

Tao who just entered the villa felt a chill on his spine. He shivered not knowing why his body reacted so.
