Bella Lim and little pumpkin were already outside their house, staring at the magnificent motorbike in front of them. 

"Big sis, i-is this the green bike?" little pumpkin asked. His big eyes shone in admiration. His lips round as he was in awe with the slick appearance of the motorbike.

"No. This… this is a gift," Bella Lim said with a chuckle. She still couldn't believe that she was gifted a million AD motorbike. She collected her thoughts and stared at the small helmet she was holding. The one with a.d.u.l.t size was resting on top of the motorbike.

Bella Lim turned the helmet around, admiring the fine quality it was made from. She turned it upward to see the inside and the first thing that she noticed was the stitch of a golden crescent. Instantly, a frown appeared on her forehead.

'Escaper 117?' she thought in astonishment. The golden crescent was something she was very familiar with. It was the logo of the first automotive produced by Wu Automotive. 

'But, it shouldn't be released yet,' she thought again as she recalled that this brand was released in the first month of the year she died. How could it be available at this time of the year?

Bella Lim switched her focus and looked at the motorbike in front of her. The more she looked the more she felt that it was indeed similar to Escaper 117. The only difference was the color and the addition of a pillion. If the color was painted red and the passenger seat was removed, then… she gulped. 

Eric Wu had actually customized a racing motorbike for her! Bella Lim was in disbelief again. She wanted to swallow a mouthful of saliva again, but her throat was too dry. She could only bite her upper lip!

"Big sister?" Bella Lim was startled. Her eyes that were losing focus was now looking at little pumpkin who was poking on the helmet in her hand.  

"You ready?" Bella Lim asked. She decided to stop thinking about the matter for now. Moreover, the whole thinking would only tire her.

Bella Lim crouched to help little pumpkin put on his helmet. The little boy beamed in excitement. His eyes shone with anticipation. Seeing this, Bella Lim knew little pumpkin was ready. Honestly, he was more than ready. Little pumpkin was eagerly waiting for his big sis to put him on the passenger seat.

"Little pumpkin, remember the roles of a pillion passenger?" Bella Lim asked as she pretended to be blind to little pumpkin's eagerness. This was something she often asked before taking off. 

"Yes!" little pumpkin answered energetically. He grinned while touching the body of the motorbike. Bella Lim sighed as she watched little pumpkin circled the motorbike again and again. Worried that he would get dizzy, Bella Lim scooped him over and put him on the motorbike.

Little pumpkin was excited as he spoke in a loud voice: "Big sis, this is the most comfortable pillion seat in the world!" he exclaimed with a wide smile, showing the rows of teeth he had.

'Of course, this used to be a motorbike for a racer…' Bella Lim internally thought. Outside, she simply smiled.

"Alright, we should go now. Pumpkin, remember…" Bella Lim arched an eyebrow as she waited for little pumpkin to continue her sentence.

"…safety first!" the boy chirped on. Bella Lim gave him a satisfying nod before hopping onto the rider seat. The moment she saw the dashboard, Bella Lim was convinced that the motorbike was indeed Escaper 117. 

In the past, Bella Lim was a fan of motorbikes and had spent a week to study Escaper 117's features. This helped reduce the time for her to get familiar with the motorbike she was riding on at the moment.

She placed her phone on the built-in phone mount and slipped the Bluetooth headphone into her left ear. 

Bella Lim switched on the engine and slowly hit the road. She opted for normal speed since she wasn't riding alone.

Bella Lim cared about little pumpkin the most. Nevertheless, little pumpkin wasn't your average passenger. To Bella Lim, he was the best pillion passenger she ever had! This was the result of all the training she had given him since motorbike was their main mode of transportation. 

Soon, Bella Lim reached the highway. She maintained the current pace and speed up when necessary. Although, she knew where Hillside Villa was, she still followed the map that was sent by Eric Wu. The map was a little bit different than the one she already knew. It was a shortcut, probably one that was used by him only. 

Not long after, the long straight road was separated into two roads, Bella Lim took the left road as indicated in the map. She knew this was the road that would lead to Eric Wu's property. She made a quick mental calculation and estimated that they would reach Hillside Villa in thirty-five minutes. Bella Lim decided to stop at a rest area as little pumpkin had given the signal that he needed to pee. 

"Careful stepping on the floor," Bella Lim reminded little pumpkin as she waited outside the restroom. It took little pumpkin only a few minutes to finish his business. He emerged behind the closed door with a satisfying smile on his face. Bella Lim chuckled as she held his hand towards the parking area.

While walking, she suddenly felt shiver ran down to her spine. A bad premonition rose within her. She swallowed her saliva as she heightened her senses to find out the thing that made her reacted so. That was when she noticed two men were following from behind. Both were wearing matching black suits.

Bella Lim felt her heartbeat beating faster. She tightened her grip on little pumpkin's hand and stopped at one of the stalls selling drinks. She noticed that the two men also stopped. After buying a bottle of mineral water, she walked again with little pumpkin sticking closer to her. The seconds they moved, the two men following them also moved. 

Bella Lim knew that these men were up to something. As soon as they reached the parking area, she carried little pumpkin and settled him on the motorbike. She helped him put on his helmet. While doing so, she whispered: "Little pumpkin after this big sis will increase the motorbike's speed. You must hold on tight. Understand?"

Little pumpkin stared at her big sister and saw the worried look she tried hard to hide. "Big sister?" he asked, hoped to hear some clarification. 

"Don't worry. Big sister just wants to test the speed of this new motorbike," she answered with a smile. Little pumpkin nodded, didn't bother to ask anymore. He noticed the urgency in his big sister's actions. Perhaps there were some problems that she wanted to avoid. With this thinking, little pumpkin decided to listen and act as instructed.

Bella Lim turned around to switch on the engine as soon as she could. However, the short time she had her back facing little pumpkin, she heard a scream coming from behind.

"Big Sis!" little pumpkin screamed as he struggled to let go of himself from one of the man's clutched. The man easily carried him on his shoulder. 

Witnessing her little pumpkin being carried like a sack, Bella Lim felt that her vision blackened. Her body shivered uncontrollably.

Wasn't her little pumpkin sitting behind her? How... how did they take him without her knowing? Bella Lim began to panic but little pumpkin's desperate voice quickly washed the anxiety away.

"Big sis!!" little pumpkin voice sounded desperate as he was taken further away from his big sister.

Meanwhile, Bella Lim's eyes wondered tirelessly as she took the motorbike out of its parking slot. Her body almost froze in fear when she noticed that they were no one around in the area.

Who could help them?

'No, I've promised to protect little pumpkin!' Bella Lim yelled internally. Soon, her eyes shone with determination. She turned the motorbike around and rushed towards the men. She was about to do something outrageous!

The two men saw through her crazy stunt and were ready to avoid her however, to Bella Lim's surprise, she too could anticipate what their next move was. Without hesitation, she changed the course of the motorbike to the left. This prompted the motorbike to hit the man that was holding little pumpkin. The angle was too perfect as little pumpkin fell exactly behind her.

"Hold on!" she screamed as she pulled little pumpkin's hand to hold on to her waist. She swiftly turned the motorbike towards the main road. From the side mirror, she could see a black car stopped next to the two men and another two people helped them to get inside the car. She could see the driver was looking at their direction with intense eyes. 

Bella Lim sighed heavily while one of her hands held little pumpkin's hand to ensure that he was truly present. That incident wasn't a coincidence. Someone was trying to kidnap little pumpkin away from her.

This... this was her nightmare turning into a scary reality!
