Miss Ordinary: I Was Reborn To Love You!

"Almost there!" Eric Wu shouted at Bella Lim who was struggling behind him. He laughed when he saw her scowled at him.

"You can do it big sis!" little pumpkin cheered for his big sister. His whole body was soaked in sweats, yet his energy to jump around was limitless.

"Not fair! Hah~hah~" Bella Lim panted. She bent her bodies, holding her knees as she tried to regulate her breathing. Exhausted, she sat on the ground only to be pulled by the hood of her t-shirt by Eric Wu.

"Bella, this is only your fifth day. Are you losing to little pumpkin? Look at him still energetic," Eric Wu remarked. His eyes narrowed as he looked at Bella Lim.

"Then, let me train the same amount as he did," Bella Lim retorted.

The past five days, this man had been torturing her non-stopped and that irritated her to the max. He was nitpicking at almost everything associated with her, from the food she ate to the way she walked. It was vexing!

"Big sis, you're a grown-up, why do you want to train so little?" little pumpkin asked. He winked at Eric Wu who was grinning at him.

Bella Lim pouted. She stared at little pumpkin in bitterness. What kind of person was Eric Wu for him to successfully make little pumpkin his accomplice for the suffering she had to go through? Little pumpkin seemed to look up to him more now.

"Little pumpkin, don't you feel pity towards big sis?" she sulked.

Seeing the downcast look of Bella Lim, Eric Wu couldn't help but laugh. This woman, the more he interacts with her, the interesting she becomes.

"Big sis, this is for your youth!" little pumpkin encouraged her, repeating the words that Eric Wu had directed to her a few days ago.

"What?!" Bella Lim yelled in disbelief. She gazed helplessly at little pumpkin. Not long after, her eyes viciously glared at Eric Wu who was laughing even louder.

This man was the culprit! He was the reason for little pumpkin to turn cold against her plea. If it was before, little pumpkin couldn't stand to see her in any disadvantageous situation. Yet, right now, tough love was in practice. How much had he changed since he associated himself with Eric Wu?

Bella Lim really wanted to put all the blames on Eric Wu, however, the person who let the two met was her. She was the one to blame.

Sigh.

"Alright, that's all for today. Little pumpkin let's descend," Eric Wu held little pumpkin's hand and guided him as they walked through the trail of the mountain where today's training was taking place.

Bella Lim scoffed as she followed from behind. She recalled when Eric Wu introduced his method of 'working out the body'. It was just his nice sounded way to refer to his hellish training method.

The first workout they have was a simple run around the garden of Hillside villa. Then, he added the gym workout. Next, they were required to run from the main entrance to the villa, covering the entire ten miles.

Today, as expected, he upgraded their training by bringing them to his private island also known as his exclusive hiking mountain. She had to go through obstacles course while trying to finish the hike in the specific time given.

Nowadays, Eric Wu was the negative element in Bella Lim's peaceful days.

Thank God, he wasn't insane to make little pumpkin do the same workout they were doing or else she would fight with him with all her might.

"Bella, be careful with the slope," Eric Wu shouted as he allowed little pumpkin to stand on the ground. They were now at the foot of the mountain. However, Bella Lim was slightly slower as she was still descending, albeit closer. He watched her foot placement and cringed in worry. This woman was too clumsy!

"I know!" Bella Lim screamed from above as she bent her knees to resist the inertia of falling forward.

"Urgh!" she grumbled when she realized that her foot couldn't reach the stepping rock below. She looked around and saw a protruding branch. It was n.a.k.e.d as leaves were nowhere to be seen. Bella Lim thought that it would help to give her a safe push so that she could land on the stepping stone below. So, she grabbed the branch... the weak branch that wasn't attached to any tree...

"Careful!" Eric Wu shouted as his body instinctively moved forward. He had a feeling that Bella Lim wouldn't be so lucky with the help she deemed worthy. As expected, when Bella Lim grabbed on the branch, the force she put yanked it from its position revealing a slender woody shoot. The poor woman could only curse as she felt her body fell forward.

"It's a stupid twig!"

"Idiot twig!"

Eric Wu helplessly listened to the voices of Bella Lim. Couldn't she tell that she was falling and in danger? He moved faster, hoping that he would get to her in time.

Only to see her went pass him cartwheeling. He turned around and saw her made the last twirl before secured a landing on the ground not far from little pumpkin. He stared at her dumbfoundedly. Where the hell did she learn that?

Still, the scream that was expected to happen earlier, echoed.

Bella Lim collapsed on the ground as she held her left ankle. At the last twirl, her mind suddenly went to a shut down. Consequently, she failed to see the pebbles on the ground which cause her landing unstable. She fell and her left ankle was injured.

Bella Lim cooled down as she tried to remember what had happened. Earlier when she felt her body falling forward, she wished that she was a gymnast as their skill to cartwheel was helpful in that situation. She didn't know that her body had instinctively exercising the form, avoiding the danger that she thought was inevitable. Everything happened so fast giving her no time to process the whole situation.

"Ouch!" tears rolled down her cheek as the pain was overwhelming. Little pumpkin ran towards her in panic. The little boy was now crying together with her as he didn't know what he was supposed to do.

At the same time, Eric Wu rushed towards Bella Lim's side and assessed the whole situation. He heaved out after the assessment.

"Reckless!" he knocked on Bella Lim's head as his eyes were looking at her intensely. Then, he turned towards little pumpkin to comfort him.

"Is big sis okay?" little pumpkin asked. His small hand rubbed against Bella Lim's head gently.

"Don't worry, your big sis is alright. She will get better after the treatment. Little pumpkin could you walk by yourself?" Eric Wu asked. Little pumpkin nodded.

"Good!" Eric Wu smiled as he patted little pumpkin's shoulder. Then, he focused on Bella Lim who was looking down on the soil.

"Hop on!" he uttered as he squatted, revealing his broad back to Bella Lim. His act stunned the woman who was lamenting on her stupid action.

"It's okay. Just find me a stick. I still can walk. You need to carry little pumpkin," Bella Lim refused. She managed a smile for little pumpkin to see. The little boy was looking at her with so much pain on his face as if he was the one who got hurt.
