"Pumpkin, big sis is okay," she assured him.

"Big sis, let big brother Eric carry you. Pumpkin is strong. I can walk," little pumpkin insisted.

"No-no... you'll only tire yourself," Bella Lim repudiated.

"Big sis, you're so stubborn," little pumpkin frowned. His lips curved downward, unsatisfied with his big sis refusal.

"I-ouch!" Bella Lim was about to reply when she felt a painful tap on her forehead. She realized that Eric Wu was looking at her. Then, without waiting for her approval, he pulled her hand and securely placed her on his back. He held her legs as he rose from his squatting position.

"Little pumpkin, we'll meet up with my assistant after this. For now, you need to be very careful, okay?" he said as he tilted his head over to look at little pumpkin.

"I will big brother Eric. Please take care of big sis!" little pumpkin said as he began to walk forward.

Bella Lim was astounded. She felt her face getting warmer as she was embarrassed. All the sayings and yet she failed to see their intention. Even if she walked now, it would only slow them down.

"Why are you so reckless? I have seen you do these many times. First, the bike and now this, cartwheeling like an idiot,"

"Are you stupid?"

Bella Lim discreetly inhaled. She listened to Eric Wu's furious comments without saying anything in response. The thing he mentioned was irrefutable, she was indeed reckless. But, she had no control over her body, everything was voluntary. As if her body was trained to do the stunt. Now that she thought about it, it took her less time to master her riding skills. She thought she was gifted, but the feeling she had back then was similar to how she felt today. As if her mind was preset with the knowledge of all the skills and her body was waiting for the trigger to execute the skills. Everything seemed natural to her.

"Next time don't be this reckless," once again Eric Wu's voice entered her ears.

"I don't want to as well," she finally replied.

"What do you mean?" she noticed Eric Wu's head moved to the right as if he was trying to see her. His ear brushed against her cheek causing it to flush in pink. Bella Lim decided to wake herself up by pinching on her hand with her other hand. The pain made her mind clear. It wasn't the right time to be infatuated by him. Not now.

"My body moves on its own like I already knew how to do it," she said, unsure if it was making sense. She waited for Eric Wu to say something, but he was quiet. The silent prevailed until they met up with Tao who then carried little pumpkin on his back. Initially, little pumpkin refused, but when Bella Lim and Eric Wu insisted, only then did he let Tao piggyback him.

Their journey wasn't as long as it only took them fifteen minutes to reach the dock where a boat was already waiting for them. One of Eric Wu's staff was waiting with the first aid in his hand. Bella Lim recognized the person, he was Ekon, the leader of the security department.

Eric Wu stepped into the boat and carefully assisted Bella Lim to sit.

"President, Mr. Ryan is asleep. He's inside the room," Tao walked over and reported little pumpkin's situation to Eric Wu.

"Good, please look after him," Eric Wu instructed and Tao nodded obediently. He left afterward to do the job that was assigned to him. Bella Lim stared at Tao's back with gratitude. Suddenly, a growled slipped her lips as she could feel someone pinching her injured ankle.

"Ekon called the family doctor. Make sure, he arrived before us," Eric Wu said as he looked towards Ekon. The rigid man shook his head once before leaving.

Bella Lim pursed her lips as her gaze was on Eric Wu. This man was helping him again.

"You helped me again," she blurted out only to be surprised at herself. Eric Wu looked up, a frown on his face. Bella Lim immediately diverted her gaze to the sea. She fidgeted.

"Now that I think about it, you definitely in need of help every time," Eric Wu let out a laugh as he pressed the ice pack on Bella Lim's ankle.

"Ouch~" Bella Lim couldn't help but let out a groan. The cold ice was like needles piercing through her skin. She didn't realize that her hand was pressing against Eric Wu's shoulder.

"Sorry," she immediately retracted her hand when she realized what was happening.

"Bear with this," Eric Wu ignored her as he pressed the ice pack to her ankle again. Bella Lim's face twitched in pain. This time she endured it until the pain on her ankle subsided.

"Good job. Don't walk around," Eric Wu reminded as he walked towards the built-in bar inside the small yet luxurious boat. He returned with a bottle of mineral water in his hand. The cap was already removed when he gave the bottle to Bella Lim.

"Thank you," Bella Lim expressed. Eric Wu nodded as he sat next to her. The warmth emitted from his body made the breath of Bella Lim quickened. She could feel her skin crawl at the stimulation. She wanted to blame the situation, but then the seat was meant for a single person. Why must this muscular man squeeze his body just to sit next to her?

"What is it? Is your ankle in pain again?" Eric Wu noticed her stiffness and asked. He leaned to see her ankle. This act made his hand brushed against Bella Lim's. The woman stiffened at the contact, afraid to make the slightest movement.

"I-it's okay. Not painful," that was the best she could give. Bella Lim bit her lower lip as she shut her eyes.

"I thought you part ways with your stammer?" Eric Wu chuckled as he glanced at Bella Lim.

"No, I-I was just surprised..." Bella Lim her hands in denial. She realized that she was being played when she saw the amused expression on his face.

"Sigh. Could you sit somewhere else?" she couldn't stand it anymore. His close presence suffocated her.

Eric Wu lifted an eyebrow as soon as he heard Bella Lim's request.

"Why?" he asked, leaning forward. His handsome face was now an inch away from Bella Lim.

"P-please. Erm, y-you, t-this is for o-one person," Bella Lim tried to explain, but all of a sudden Eric Wu smiled. Sufficed to say, that one smile was an instant kill. Bella Lim almost gasped out loud. Still, Eric Wu was there, staring at her amusingly.

"Damn! Can you just sit somewhere? I'm embarrassed!" Bella Lim could no longer hold her embarrassment, she confessed. She hid her reddened face with her hands. That was when she realized movement on Eric Wu's side. Thinking that the man had left, Bella Lim peeked through her slender fingers.

Gone! She exhaled as her hands massaged her c.h.e.s.t area.

"Do you by chance interested in me?"

Upon hearing that voice, Bella Lim looked in front of her. When she saw Eric Wu standing two steps away with his arms folded, she was so shocked that she actually stood up.

"Ouch!" and like that, the pain on her ankle returned.

"Idiot!" Eric Wu scolded as he quickly moved to her assist.

"Don't yell. Painful!" Bella Lim w.h.i.n.ed. Drops of tears invaded her cheek.

"Silly!" Eric Wu sighed as his fingers removed the wetness on her cheek. Feeling the surreal touch, Bella Lim blacked out. She actually fainted.
