Miss Ordinary: I Was Reborn To Love You!

"Little pumpkin, bis sister is going for a mission tonight. I don't know if what I'm about to do will be successful or not, but that man was our benefactor. I cannot let him die after everything that I learned today. Hopefully, I can return the favor tonight. Give me strength and sleep well my dear pumpkin," she whispered and kissed the little boy goodnight.

Bella Lim was worried to leave her little pumpkin alone but knowing that he was a heavy sleeper, she was hoping that tonight was also the same. Still, she left a message for him to remain inside the house until she returned.

Before going out, she put on her black jacket. Then, she rode on her bike towards the most luxurious area in the country.

After riding for almost an hour, Bella parked her bike in an isolated area not far from a lakeside. She stared at the majestic view in front of her and silently sang a whole song of praises. She gaped at the magnificent building that seemed to float in the middle of the lakeside. 

This was the most expensive restaurant in the world: The Golden Lakeside! Its golden nameplate was screaming all the luxury the restaurant would offer to its customers. From the distance, she could see the glistening golden color of the man-made lake.

It took her a while to come back to her senses. She glanced at her wristwatch: 8.00 PM. Good, she arrived exactly at the time she was expecting herself to arrive. 

Bella Lim's plan was simple. She must see Eric Wu and warned her of Karen Yang's dangerous scheme with the unknown man. Even if the man didn't believe her, she would exert all effort to ruin their dinner tonight. 

She could do it! She motivated herself.

Bella Lim began to move. She decided to rely on her physical abilities and not her bike. Even though this place was foreign to her, inside her brain, she could see the path she should take.

All of her actions were only feasible because of Enlai Gong's novel. In his book entitled 'Murder by the Lakeside' she noticed that the place where the crime scene was taking place was similar to this Golden Lakeside restaurant. In one of their email exchanges, he confirmed her speculation. 

When she first found out, the feeling she had was a mere satisfaction. However, right at this moment, she was glad she paid attention to the details he had written because they were incredibly accurate! Goosebumps swept through her body.

However, like the main lead in his novel, she had to think of a way to enter the restaurant because the security was tight at the entrance. Without the golden card, no one could enter. It was akin to a membership card except one had to pay a lot of money to get one.

8.30 PM. 

Currently, Bella Lim was hiding behind a gigantic, shining tree. She was surprised to encounter such a big tree, but when she touched the trunk, she was enlightened. It was a man-made tree. No wonder, the leaves were all shining in rainbow colors. 

Her hiding spot was really the worst if one was to consider the attractiveness of the tree, but her observation discovered that this strikingly gorgeous tree failed to woo people to peek or glance at its dazzling body. This disappointing outcome was the main reason why she picked this place as a hiding spot.

Bella Lim's next plan was to wait for her target. 

Thirty minutes later, her eyes glistened as she saw a man with a cold and distant aura was walking side by side with a beautiful woman.

Her heart skipped the moment she noticed that the man's appearance carried the same vibe as the one she had met many years ago. He seemed to never change. But who was she to judge? 

Bella Lim spent quite some time admiring the imposing aura exuded from that man. The corner of her lips curled upward as she noticed that his hair was combed in the same messy style she had seen before. That style really accentuated his perfect jawline, increasing the allure of that man.

She stared at his eyes and like before, those pair of brownish eyes often drew her in. She was afraid she would drown in them.

When she saw him walking with Karen Yang, a deep frown appeared on her forehead. She hated this view. And she could see that many onlookers shared her sentiment. However, theirs were based on envy, while hers was the fact that this woman was wearing a poker face. 

Knowing that the two would enter the building soon, Bella Lim began to panic. She must enter the building together with them! Or else, she would lose them. 

As she cursed at the dead end, she noticed that a woman was walking toward her direction. She frowned and realized that the incoming unwanted guest was drunk. She probably was separated from her friend and saw the tree and fell in love with it.

Whatever it was, Bella Lim saw an opportunity. She noticed that no one was paying attention to the woman. Therefore, when she was a step away from discovering her, Bella pulled the woman behind the tree and chopped on the back of the woman's neck with her other hand.

The woman fainted on the spot.

Bella Lim sighed as she saw the defenseless woman. She begged for forgiveness in her heart for the thing she would do next was the rudest! 

She removed the woman's clothes. 

And exchange it with her clothes.

Not only she took the woman clothes, but she also took her jewelry alongside her purse which contained few makeup products. Inside was also the precious golden card that she desperately needed. 

'Gosh, now I'm a robber!' Bella Lim could only smile unsophisticatedly. She imitated the woman's hairdo and put on some makeup. She didn't dare to exaggerate for she knew her make-up skill was incomparable. She was the worst in the field! Therefore, she just put on some powder on her cheek and put on the woman's brown lipstick. 

This was the first time Bella Lim wore make-up! 

However, she had no time to spare to admire her look, for her target had just walked into the restaurant.

She ran and slowed down the moment she was near the entrance. That was when she realized that she didn't know the woman's name! 

Panic struck her again!

She began to think that this mission of hers was similar to the level of a mission impossible! Dang!
