Miss Ordinary: I Was Reborn To Love You!

"Miss Kylie, did you forget something inside?" 

Hearing the security guard called her with a different name, Bella Lim relaxed and nodded. She pretended to be busy. She looked at her purse while asking: "Can I enter?" 

She didn't dare to lift her face. Thankfully, the security guard just let her in without asking too many questions. 

Inside, Bella Lim silently followed her target while pretending to look at her purse whenever people stared at her. However, when she was about to enter the same room, she realized that everyone was looking at her. 

Including Eric Wu!

Once again, she panicked. She hadn't thought about how to go about this situation. How should she act in this situation?

"Miss Kylie?" then she heard his voice. The voice that seeped into her soul like a calming mantra. 

"Do you know her?" Karen Yang's immediately asked. Her voice contained jealousy. She stared at Bella Lim with piercing eyes.

"I heard the security guard mentioned her name," Eric Wu explained without looking at the woman standing close to him. His eyes were staring at Bella Lim. He seemed to be thinking of something.

"Do you want anything, Miss Kylie?" Karen Yang moved closer, purposely hiding Eric Wu's from Bella Lim's sight trajectory. 

"Well, I'm actually going to the room next to you. However, this person is standing like an obstacle in front of me," Bella Lim composed her heart and spoke with utter confidence. She pointed towards the person that was standing in front of her. She saw the restaurant logo on his uniform; therefore, she was certain that he was a safe target.

Then, she stared at Karen Yang with 'what the heck' kind of attitude. As if everything was just a misunderstanding and them interrogating her was going overboard.

This was Bella bluffing with the hope that they would believe her!

"Heh," Bella Lim felt her heart froze once she heard Eric Wu's short response. It carried an aura that capable to tear off her mask! She didn't dare to look right into his eyes. From the short response, she knew that he had found out about her bluff. This was the result she came up with as his avid stalker! 

She was too familiar with this man. Even though, it was a one-sided familiarity.

Would he expose her? God, I'm trying to save you here!

"Excused me," Bella Lim didn't dare to stay any longer and walked away from the group. She was grateful that no one tried to stop her. 

Eric Wu watched the woman escaped. Then, for a second there, he met her eyes. Eyes that seemed to contain worries and fears. Instead of looking away, the eyes were determined to lock his gaze as if she wanted to tell him something. He frowned as he couldn't understand the woman's intention.

However, he was confident that the woman was lying.

Bella noticed that they were still looking at her, so she pushed the door of the room beside them and entered. Hoping that the room was empty! 

Sigh! She heaved out the burden of faking identity the moment she saw the empty room. Damn, this place was huge! Every furniture had a tint of gold. How rich was the owner? She didn't dare to guess knowing that the amount she came up with would probably fail to meet the real number.

Bella shook her head to remove the thoughts far away. Right now, she needed to focus. After this, she would force her way into their room and pretended that she was looking for something.

If Eric Wu was still in one piece, healthy and unharmed, she would slip on the note she had written before coming here. 

If the situation was the opposite and Eric Wu was harmed, she would do anything to save him!

This plan was imperfect but doable. Moreover, this was the only plan that Bella Lim could think of. 

Only to know later that she was about to be chased out of the building!

An hour later, Bella Lim was trying to find a place to hide. The restaurant owner had just announced that there was something wrong with the building security system and mentioned that soon, there would be a blackout. Therefore, for safety purposes, all customers were advised to leave the premise as soon as they could.

Of course, the announcement was the humble step to 'chase' the customers away, but few trained workers were actually assigned to 'force' stubborn customers to leave the building.

"Are you sure someone entered this room?"

Bella Lim heard a male voice echoed inside the room that she was in. At this moment, she was hiding behind the huge karaoke screen. In this opened place, there was no place for her to hide except this torturous place. To make sure that her body wasn't discovered, she had to do the split so that her height could match the screen's height. This was the most painful stretching she ever had.

"I am sure," another voice answered. His voice was slightly pitchy compared to the previous one.

"Really? But this room should be empty. The boss had instructed that the room next to Young Miss Karen shouldn't be occupied,"

"Never mind, this room is now empty. That person must have left the moment she heard the announcement,"

"I think so too," the other replied.

Bella Lim waited for another few minutes when she was finally certain that the two people had really left the room.

'Ouch…' she g.r.o.a.n.e.d as she recovered from the torturous stretching.

Now, what should I do? She thought. At this moment, she knew that the owner of this restaurant was also related to Karen Yang. The owner might also be the unknown man she had seen was making out with Karen Yang earlier this afternoon.

Bella Lim was standing right at the door when suddenly someone pushed it from outside. 

Oh my god!

Bella Lim was once again thrown into the pit of terror, as she could only hide behind the opened door while wishing that the people who were coming in wouldn't close the door. At the same time, she scanned the room to look for possible hiding space and noticed that there was a hiding spot behind the sofa opposite her. Moreover, this was a blind spot as the sofa was located in the remotest area in the room.

"Bring him in," she heard a very familiar voice. This was Karen Yang's voice.

"You! make this room bright!" she spoke again. 

Listening to Karen Yang's authoritative voice, Bella Lim was freaking out. Because, she was still hiding behind the door, if the switches were all on, she would be discovered. After that…
