Mobile Legend: The Lost Childhood

Granger's visual finally returned to the present it was a long memory of him during his time at the monastery. After joining the Demon Hunter, he along with Leon and Alucard was trained to be a successful Demon Hunter. He was surprisingly good with guns and blink skill which he developed during his growth in the monastery.

Not to mention that the monastery was shocked when Granger also picked violin along with guns. To be honest. He's actually a tone deaf. He was told by Alucard who suffer headache when he requested Granger to play him a song. But it turns out to be a horrific melody created by Granger's hand.

After that, Alucard wouldn't dare to ask him to play the violin in front of him anymore instead telling him that used this horrible tune to distract enemies as the vibration created by Granger was really loud and bad to hear.

As for Granger, played the violin as they soothed his Misery and Nightmares. So every time the memories of his parents getting killed in front of him appear in his mind, he would play the violin even though people hear it as a lousy music. Not only that, it remind him about the promise he made with Aria 4 years ago.

Although its been 4 years now, the girl that he dreamed 4 years ago still cannot be recognizable. Who is she anyway? Granger wanted to now who was it. Did he managed to save the girl? Or the girl already left the world when the little Granger tried to save her.

The unlit lantern was hold tightly by Granger. Everyone around him already let their lantern flew away. He just don't have this mood join the event. Moreover, no matter how many time he tried to let go the old and scary memories, he can't as if he was letting go of his origin.

But right now, he his an a.d.u.l.t who have grow stronger than normal young a.d.u.l.ts. His job as Demon Hunter really helped him to continue his life.Even the S-Level Tasks were not a big deal to him anymore. By this, his abilities and efficiency was admired and respected by Alucard who was also known to be one of the powerful Demon Hunter in the Temple of Light.

Granger found that his time at the park almost over he decided to throw away the Lantern. But, a small hand stopped him from doing it. Granger looked at the face of a child who stopped him. It was a little boy with a crimson hair.

"Big brother, why didn't you lit your lantern?" Granger who was bad with handling children didn't want to disappoint the kid decided to forget his plan to throw it away. He lit the lantern just like the kid told him. But he don't know what should he released by letting the lantern. He turn his head back to the kid and ask him.

"What should I let go, Kid?" The kid hold up his chin as if he was thinking hard about the Granger's question. The kid smiled widely and look at Granger. "You should let go the sadness inside your heart. I lost my mommy a year ago but daddy said that I shouldn't be sad because mommy was happy and she is watching out for me to keep me safe and happy." After saying that the kid left with his smile stuck at Granger's mind.

This kid is so strong after losing someone. And me? I've been a weak because I was still haunted by the past.

Granger look at his lantern and a visual of Aria's happy face appeared. Oh, now he realize. He missed the girl's smile and her music. He wanted to meet her again. Slowly his hand released the lantern. As the lantern flew away, Granger's memories about the incident merge into his head. The girl who he was trying to save is Aria.

How did he know about it? 4 years ago when he decided to be a Demon Hunter, he was hugged by Aria and he hugged her back. When he touch her back he can feel bump on her back. Just like the girl he tried to save had the injuries located at the same spot.

But it might be a coincidence too, maybe her corset made her back little bumpy. But he believe that the girl is alive up until now.

That festival finally come to an end. While people start circulating from the area, Granger was still stood stiff in front of the lake. That night reminded him about his past. He was in peace when he saw his clear reflection in the lake. His left eye were scratched when he was on a mission with Alucard to kill a S-rate demon. Thanks to their cooperation, they managed to finish the task easily even though Granger had the demon injured his eye. Luckily it didn't took away his eyesight or he'll be labeled as a one eyed shooter.

Many things happened in 4 years. Kimmy train him how to handle the gun, how he turned his violin into a powerful gun with the help of Layla, a smart inventor. Not to mention he also met the smilodon woman, Irithel during his mission to annihilate demon threat. He met many people during executing his mission alone or with Alucard.

His mind was really filled with his moment during his first 4 year being a demon hunter. He thought that he was alone that time, he realized someone is standing a bit farther away from him. He turned his head to the right, there is a girl standing and looking at the lake just like what Granger did. Much to his surprise that the girl had the same hair color like Aria. And how she stand also resembled her. But he can't see the owner's face because it was covered by her hair.

He didn't want to scared her by asking weird question, so Granger decided to leave her. When Granger walked about 5 meters away he accidentally heard what the girl said.

"I wish I could meet Granger. Why hasn't he return yet? I miss him... please come back..." Aria eye dam was filled with warm tears and finally fell. Her heart ache when she tried to remember Granger's cold face. His goose-bumping gaze and his delightful face when she teach him about the violin. When Aria turns away. Granger who was dumbfounded a while ago was standing in front of her.

Aria mouth was shut. She cannot believed what she seeing right now. Is he Granger? The Granger who always tried to ignore her? But when she saw the scar on Granger left eye, her hope was crushed. This is not Granger. He don't have scar on his eye. Aria shook her head and leave the stranger alone.

But she was stopped when Granger pulled her hand. "Don't you remember me?" Granger gave her a sharp gaze into Aria's eye. She remembered that gaze, a sharp and cold gaze from Granger's scarlet eyes. Finally her longing was cured with Granger's scarlet gaze.

"Granger..." She quickly hugged him tightly with the feeling don't want to let him go once again. Granger hugged her back. There it is again. He could feel the bump on her back. But firstly he need to release his longing towards Aria by hugging her in the middle of the night near the lake.

Kimmy and Tigreal whom was in charge with patrolling witnessed the sweet reunion after 4 years being apart from each other. They were happy that Granger met with his love of his life once more. As for Tigreal, he's proud that Granger didn't forget about his promise toward Aria and he was really proud of Granger for being alive even he was still haunted by his tragic past.

Granger loosen his hugs and decided to ask Aria about the little girl he saved back then. "Aria, are you the girl that I tried to save 14 years ago?" Aria look up to Granger who was looking down to her. She lower her head a bit and finally said it. "Yes, I am the girl that you tried to save back then." Granger was right all along.

"It happen a month before the war broke. Me and my parents was visiting your village to arrange Moniyan Musician performance there." Aria start telling everything to Granger. "Then I saw you and I wanted to play with you since I have no friends beside the other musician. But after the incident occurred where we were founded blacked out by your father and quickly saved both of us. Due to the deep scratch I received, the scar wouldn't fade. As for you, you've lost your memory about whatever happen to us." When Aria finally said it, Granger suddenly remembered everything. After he blacked out, he woke up inside his bedroom with his father asking him what happen to both of them. But Granger doesn't remember everything even the event Granger playing with Aria. Aria and her parents was asked to leave because they didn't want Granger to remember everything happen to him today.

"According to my mother, they leave early because I was in coma state due to loss of blood. My mom told everything about how your father save me and how lost your memory after the incident." Aria loosen a bit her embrace at look directly to Granger eye. She was surprised that Granger showed her his emotional face for the first time to her. Granger eyes was red and she could see tears are filling up his dam and will fall anytime.

"So you're safe... I'm so glad." Granger fell into his knee when he heard those relieving words from her mouth. Although she have to live with the scar with the rest of her life. "I'm sorry for not telling you about the incident 4 years ago. I knew it was you when I see those white hair of yours. It resembles your father and mother very much. But I don't want you being troubled by you tragic loss and I wanted you and I being a friend once again." Aria apologies for not telling everything when she met Granger once again at the monastery.

To be honest, he didn't care about it anymore because he knew that Aria is now safe and sound. As for him every question had been answered but still there's only one think he must answer. his feeling towards Aria.

Granger grab Aria's both shoulder and look at her in the eyes. Aria's face was hot and being stare by him is more embarrassing. Granger grit his teeth and decided to tell her.

Tigreal and Kimmy was super hyped when they saw that happening. Tigreal was rooting for Granger while Kimmy was just focused at both at them to see what happen next.

"Aria... I... " Just before Granger could say the words he wanted to say, suddenly a Alucard appeared out nowhere to find Granger.

"Alu... Alucard?! What are you doing here? " it was a huge disappointment to Granger, Aria and the two stalker from far away. they let out a loud "Aisssssshhhh" When what they hoped for didn't happen. Alucard felt like he did a mistake when he arrived here.

Aria was really surpsried with Alucard arrival. Not only that, they were being watch by Granger's senior. It's really sad that she didn't had this chance to hear what he's going to say. But she can wait because she have faith with Granger.

"Did I do something wrong? " Alucard question really made Granger embarassed a bit but he didn't care. "No... it's nothing. By the way, what is wrong with you? Appearing out nowhere."

Alucard gave him a wide smile and said it confidently. "We have a mission. SS-Rate. " Looks like Granger will be gone for a while again. He looked at Aria thinking that she'll be sad but she didn't. Aria knew it was his job to do so, so she can't help it but accept it

"Go Granger, I'll be waiting for you and when the time comes. Please let me hear what are you going to say." Aria show her smile to Granger with tears running down her cheeks.

"I promise! And wait for me a little bit longer, Aria"
