Mordred The Dark Lord-Continued

I walked with Arcturus through Diagon Alley pondering what he told me and what I had seen after I made him think I was his ancestor who had time-traveled. It nearly was too easy to convince him that I was here because I made a ritual to protect my children's legacy.

'I never even had any children, although I must say we do indeed look very similar. Maybe they are descendants of relatives from my mother's side?'

I shrugged it off nonchalantly, which brought me a glance from Arcturus, though he didn't insist on an explanation, seeing that we already were at Gringotts.

I didn't find the obvious threat in form of a poem surprising as the only thing a goblin values more than their honor is gold so I kept following my great-grandfather to a free counter. The goblin behind it looked up.

"Yes?" the goblin drawled.

"Arcturus Black wishes to take custody of Mordred Black and declare him Heir Black."

The goblin blinked confused, but schooled his countenance while he waved another one over. "Mordred Black, you say? I don't think that there are any records of him here."

"He is my grandson's half-blood child and is currently registered as an orphan in the muggle world."

With a raised eyebrow and an amused smirk, the goblin ordered the employee to lead us somewhere, while Arcturus flicked something from his robes. We were lead to a room, which was empty besides another goblin, who introduced himself as Ragnok, Head Goblin of Gringotts and a table with a bowl and a needle. Ragnok told us that three drops of blood from each of us and one of him were needed as Sirius Black wasn't there to give up his Heirship so blood was needed from the Lord and the new Heir.

After we gave our drops of blood into the bowl the blood formed into two rings. I took them both up before Ragnok could get a look at them and told them that I would buy the things needed for school.

After I left Gringotts looked at the inscription on the rings:

"Black- Toujours Pur"

"Nephilim-" I opened my mouth to swear at Death as I saw the words "Illegetimi non carborundum" before they changed into "Flectere si nequeo superos, Acheronta movebo"
