"ugh" andy woke up with a splitting haedache next to him stood the examiner. "it will pass, the headache is from the program installation to your brain" he informed andy afterall he has seen more awakening than he can count this was just like anyone else. as if to prove him right the headache also faded away immediately. Andy was relieved then just as he was about to get up he remembered a detail ' what program installation to brain did they put something into my brain, could it be dangerous ' he could feel cold sweat in his back.and just as he was to ask about it examiner continued "don't worry about the program we don't put any chip inside your brain, the brain itself is like a hard disk we just put a basic program for analysis in your brain via electric waves".andy gave out a relieced sigh.The examiner couldn't help but laugh at the sight of this, no matter how many times he saw this he just found these kids panicing funny to him.

"Now lets see if you unlocked any kind of power try saying 'status on' " the examiner now turned serious,afterall he is a professional. Andy tried saying "status on"

"well what does it say" andy was so excited he forgot about the examiner he realised he was being rude so he apologised. Then he started to describe what he saw to the examiner.

Examiner couldn't help but frown when he heard that the mutation level was zero he felt pity for the kid before him it was not hard to know this kid has been working hard to save money for awakening. But atleast mutants are given enough money from government to survive in the city atleast.

The examiner explained to andy what the status meant. There are two types of mutation physical mutation and spiritual mutation. Physical mutation means mutation of body parts like hands, legs, etc and some rare cases brain. Spiritual mutations give abilities that can shape mana according to will some maybe able to bend fire some able to control water etc. Needless to say spiritual mutants are much more welcomed than physical mutants. But there are some physical mutants that have rised to the level of city protectors the protector of alfania 'the stone hero' francis was an example.

Each mutation are given levels according to how much the mutation has affected a person. Greater the level of mutation greater the power. andy has mutation of level zero which means his powers are the lowest of the low.

finally skills refers to the abilities that are awarded by the Mutation in andy's case he has two skills fast thinking and growth.

The status program he got from the institute was a basic one so he did not have the ability to know what fast thinking and growth means.

Andy felt all of his dreams shatter when he heard his ability was the lowest of the low.But the examiner felt pity for him and told him it is not the end of the world and there are many people who are far stronger even without any ability in the world if he has the talent he can quickly become a which is the name given to cultivators that incorporate mana into their body forcefully and then uses it to become stronger. Even though the mutants are very strong the world is dominated by the .

andy was then taught how to activate his ability by the examiner.It took him an hour before being able to activate his skill 'fast thinking' he felt his heartbeats slow down and he could see every thing around him in slow motion he could think fast but was not able to move his body as fast still he felt his reflexes were faster than before awakening.

Examiner whose name was sebastian gave andy an emblem with signifying he was a level zero mutant. And said that he could join army reasearch wings or join as a soldier both position was available to him as a mutant.

Andy knew his powers would work better in a reasearch wing than a soldier but he just couldn't give up his dream of being a . he also didn't want to thow away his new skills.He wanted to engineer his own magical devices instead of just repairing them his higher intelligence skill was perfect for it.

He rode his scooter back to his small room hut, with fast thinking he could ride the scooter at maximum speed avoiding every obstacle just as he was about to hit it 'atleast if it didn't workout in the army i could still become a racer' he joked in his mind while riding faster than everbefore.

After reaching the room he just went in and lied on the sleeping bag, he thought about where to join when suddenly " triling " the emblem he revieved from the examiner light up and shown the message as a 3d hollogram in front of him.Naturally the emblem was a magical device allowed to mutants only.
