The very next morning andy made his way towards the barrakks. The soldiers were very respectful when they saw the emblem of mutants on him. "are you here to select a choice " asked the soldier who was in charge of recruitment. Andy confirmed that he wanted to be a part time soldier. He was welcomed with weird stares as nobody usually selects part time soldier option because they need to go through the same amount of training as the full time soldiers, and they need to respond whenever they are called since part timers are doing so for studying or other works it will be similar to doing twice the work.

"are you sure you want to be a and engineer at the same time, engineering is a very time consuming subject you may not have enough chances to train"andy frowned at the question of recruitment officer he replied "its okay i have higher intelligence skill and i have no interest in being a scientist" the soldier was accepted without further questions.

Andy recieved his military uniform and reccomendation letter for the college in about an hour, he also recieved a manula for fighter training. Andy was so excited he just drove home straight, after having a meal he decided to train In the manual.

Only after reading the manual did he understand why nobody else found a way to become a < fighter> on their own. being a required absorbing the mana through the body and compress it to form a crystal in your dantian. If the wrong technique is used the compressed mana will explode out incinerating the person.

The next day he was asked to Appear at the training camp next fo the barracks for training as a soldier. In his new uniform andy made his way to the camp a little afraid and a bit excited in his heart. The name tag on his army uniform said andy stonberg, private second class.usually mutants are given Corporal rank as they enter but andy's ability was useless in battle thus he was taken in as private second class instead.

The first day of the camp,andy and his whole squad was called to the grounds there was a huge man in uniform of staff seargent facing them."I am staff seargent ryan, i am entrusted with the duty to make sure you all survive a battle against the humanity's greatest enemies the aliens.As you all know when the earth was upgraded to higher dimension due to mana surge we half merged with their universe, every time a portal opens from their side they attack.We are the wall that stops them from taking our loved ones,our freedom,our lives,our country.They are strong so strong humanity could only survive and not retaliate.But we are growing stronger as they stagnate.Everyone here from the moment they stepped inside this camp has forfeited their lives to the army. All of you maggots will be trained till they puke.Then some more i will not rest until you are all strong army men that will kill all invaders.are you clear"soldiers were hyped by the Speach responded at same time "sir yes sir"

andy was a bit scared after hearing they need to fight invaders but afterall he was now a soldier he was also hyped to be strong enough to kill them, humanity as a whole was taught from infancy that aliens were bad they needed tobe killed.The hate to them was so large it offset the fear towards them.

staff seargent looked pleased at the replt and yelled "lets start your training,run around the whole ground ten times for warmup". andy almost felt he was going to faint ' the friggin ground has perimeter of 3km and i need to run around it ten times and that's only warmup? am gonna die here aren't i ' but still his d.e.s.i.r.e for strength acted up as he start running with the others.

The training started almost as soon as he finished running. The training was almost like a hell.The only time he could relax was when the shooting training.They only needed to lie down and shoot the targets.but after that they were still put back in the hellish training again.

almost all of the squad was so tired they slept as soon as they entered their residence. Andy wanted to try using the manual to absorb mana begore sleeping so eventhough he wanted to sleep he persisted to train.

"what" andy was so surprised he yelled out which recieved a bit of scildings from the squadmates that were trying to sleep.The mana he could absorb was twice as much compared to yesterday.Also the mana was absorbed by the muscles like a sponge and the muscle fatigue and delayed onset muscle pains were all melting away it felt so comfortable. Being a good team player he quickly woke up everyone and made them train.Although he was showered by curses when he woke them up all of them thanked him later.Andy was now looking forward to the next day of training.
