My Hero Academia - Saiyaman

Chapter 11 - Unexpected Visitors

A few days passed by quickly. School started again and I was still grounded. What came to our family's surprise was that after a week of the whole incident, we got a visit from the hero duo, Water Hose.

Coming along with them were their son, Kota, and a woman with brown eyes and dark red hair, styled into three bangs going across her face.

"Hello, Jin-kun, we're sorry for any inconvenience we might have brought you with our sudden visit. We just wanted to thank you again for saving us." they gratefully bowed towards me.

I immediately tried to stop them from doing so, "You don't have to do that. I think it was self-evident to help you when I saw you in danger. Just come in first before we talk further."

I gestured for them to enter and follow me, to which they just smiled in response. Soon, we arrived in the living room, where the other family members of mine were.

And after both sides had made themselves comfortable on the couch, it was time to introduce ourselves to each other.

"It's nice to meet you all. My name is Izumi Mizuki and this is my wife, Ayasa. We are also better known as Water Hose. And this little one is our 3-year-old son, Kota, and this one is my cousin-in-law, Sosaki Shino."

"'Yoroshiku onigaishimasu'!" they said in unison.

After their introduction, it was now our turn. My dad was the one who took the lead and introduced our family, to which the Pro Hero, 'Mandalay' from the 'Wild, Wild, P.u.s.s.ycats', reacted surprisingly quite strongly.

"WHAT?! You're the famous Pro Heroes from America, Power Tank and Energina!" shouted Mandalay in surprise.

Even though my parents were heroes from America, Mandalay still managed to somehow identify them.

She had some knowledge about some of the most famous heroes from the 'Hero Billboard Chart' in America. And obviously, Power Tank and Energina were included in this list since they were quite popular due to both their handsome appearances and their strengths.

She was quite surprised to see my parents here since she didn't actually know of their retirement, yet.

Her cousin and cousin-in-law reprimanded her for her rude behavior and embarrassedly apologized to my parents for her sudden outcry.

My parents merely chuckled at this, with my dad smilingly replying, "It's okay. And yes, we are. It's actually quite surprising that you know of my wife's hero name since she had already retired long ago when our son was born. Besides, I've also taken a break for a few years by now. However, I'm actually thinking of resuming my job soon. Maybe, I'll try experiencing how the hero business is in Japan, hehe."

"Really? That would be awesome. It would be great to have such a strong hero here in Japan and additionally, the civilians would feel more secure with you around." Mandalay said excitedly.

Seeing her excitement, my dad just smiled in response. Although he really meant what he said, it'll probably still take some time and consideration to actually do it.

Afterwards, we talked a little bit more about various topics with each other and at the end, my mom invited them to stay for dinner, which they gladly accepted.

It was quite a harmonious dinner with so many (Ex-) Pro Heroes present and there was no shortage of things to talk about.

The funny thing was that I somehow became the idol of the little Kota. He literally had stars in his eyes when looking at me and he would constantly ask me dozens of questions about how I became that strong.

Of course, as a 3-year-old kid, the majority of his words were kinda incomprehensible muttering and only a few of his words could actually be understood by me.

He was nothing like his future counterpart, right now. He didn't lose his parents, so he obviously still felt admiration for heroes like how the majority of the kids did.

Not only him but also Mandalay was pretty interested in me. She became very curious about me when her cousin first told her about how a young boy saved them and defeated the immensely strong villain, who even they couldn't defeat.

We talked for a few more hours and during our conversations, I also revealed to them my ambition to become the future Number One Hero, which they found to be actually reachable, given my immense strength and potential.

It was already dark outside, so we decided to end the conversation and retire for the day. We bid each other farewell and promised to stay in contact with each other.

It was never too much to have a few more Pro Hero acquaintances..

On the next day, I went to school like usual while Mina was still mad at me for not hanging out with her after school.

But still, other than that, I passed the time quite relaxedly. While I was grounded, I just trained instead and spent more time with my family.

Weeks passed by with no interesting things happening, until one day, we got some very unexpected visitors knocking on our door.

On my way towards the door, I was also trying to guess who the visitors actually could be since there weren't really many people in Japan who we were acquainted with and who would be visiting us at this time.

However, when I actually opened the door and saw the appearances of the visitors, I became extremely stunned and my eyes simply widened in sheer surprise.

In front of me stood a very large man with an equally muscular and well-defined physique. He had short blond hair that were swept backwards, with two distinct tufts that stuck up above his head and which were leaning slightly to each side.

Next to him stood an extremely short, elderly man with short, spiky, grey hair and a beard of the same color.

The unexpected visitors were the Number One Hero, as well as the 'Symbol of Peace', All Might, and his mentor and the retired Pro Hero, 'Gran Torino'!

"All Might? Gran Torino?" I was clearly surprised by the sudden visit.

Although I knew my grandpa was acquainted with Gran Torino, I never imagined that even All Might would come knocking on our door.

"I AM HERE! Hello!! You must be Jin-shounen!" said All Might energetically with his famous trademark smile.

"Hoh, you indeed look quite strong, just like they said." Gran Torino followed up with an intrigued expression on his face.

It took me a few seconds before regaining my composure. It was naturally the first time I met these 'legends', and I must say they seemed to be even more formidable than I expected.

I could sense tremendous powers coming from both of them, especially from All Might. However, I also knew, as well as could feel that he was gravely injured which was slowly but surely deteriorating his body, and even as we were speaking right now.

"Ah, yes. I'm Jin Jayden. Please, come in first." I invited them in and asked them to follow me to the living room.

On the way, I also asked them why they were here and how they knew my name.

"Hm? Hasn't your grandfather told you about this?" asked Gran Torino a bit surprised.

I became even more confused hearing his question, but I felt like my doubts will all be answered soon, so I simply decided to stay silent for now.

We shortly arrived in the living room where the rest of my family were. And what made my face twitch heavily, was that they didn't seem surprised whatsoever, like they had already expected their visit.

'Damn! Did you really forget or did you purposely not tell me?!' I shot them an angry look, which they simply decided to ignore.

"Oh, Sorahiko, Toshinori, you're finally here. Wait, you really shrunk quite a bit, didn't you, Sorahiko, hahahaha." my grandpa stood up and greeted them, while also making fun of Gran Torino at the same time.

"Shut up, you old fart!" shouted Gran Torino angrily.

It seemed like not only were they good friends with each other, seeing that they could joke around like this, my grandpa's relationship with All Might must also be quite good, hearing that he had addressed All Might by his first name.

"Okay, keep it down, you two. Sit down first before we start to talk about what you came here for." my grandma quickly intervened between the two and gestured to our guests to sit on the couch.

They both nodded and sat down, but still didn't completely stop with making fun of each other.

And while Gran Torino and my grandpa continued to bicker with each other, I also saw All Might warmly greeting both of my parents.

I was surprised once more since I clearly didn't know that they knew each other as well, and my parents also had never told me about this. And based on their close interactions, they must be quite close, too.

However, it also wasn't that unimaginable to see them having this kind of connection, considering that All Might had lived in the United States in his college days. They might have met each other at that time.

Or this might just be one of these situations brought out by 'fate' like in those typical stories with someone getting reincarnated into another world..

"I must say, Jason, it wasn't really nice of you to not tell me that you've moved to Japan. I would've definitely welcomed you grandly!" said All Might to my father with a slightly blaming tone.

"Ehh.. Haha, we just moved here not too long ago and I also didn't want to disturb you since you are probably busy with fighting against villains and being the Symbol of Peace and all, haha." my dad just nervously tried to talk himself out of this.

It also sounded like my dad didn't actually know that All Might was severely injured at the moment.

"Haa~, let's forget about it and talk about the important things now."

Right after All Might said that, the room instantly quieted down. Obviously, everyone was very curious about what they really wanted to talk about.

Although my family were notified of their visit beforehand, but they didn't actually know the specific reason for that.

However, based on the serious expressions on both of All Might's and Gran Torino's faces, what they wanted to discuss with us must be very important.
