My Hero Academia - Saiyaman

"Momo, what is your Quirk again?" I feigned ignorance and asked her about her Quirk.

"Oh, right. I didn't tell you yet, did I? My Quirk is called [Creation]. It allows me to create any non-living material from my exposed skin through the molecular manipulation of my fat cells. As long as I have an understanding of how something is made, I can create it. Well, the downside of this Quirk is that I have to ingest more food to replace the calories I lose when I use my Quirk." Momo explained her Quirk to me while becoming a little bit embarrassed at the end.

"Hoh? To create anything you want with just by understanding how it is made is amazing and quite a strong Quirk." I nodded approvingly.

"No, not at all. I still have a clear limit on what and how much I can create. I'm rather envious of your Quirk. It's extremely strong and has a lot of potential. I'm sure that with this Quirk, you will become a very strong hero in the future." Momo praised my Quirk and tried to downplay hers.

"What are you talking about? You have one of the strongest and most versatile Quirk that I know of. You will definitely become one of the most flexible heroes in the future." I said to her.

Seeing her not taking my compliment that serious, I continued, "Imagine if villains use a toxic gas attack on the civilians. You could simply create gas masks to keep them save, no? In fact, if you just need something specific to deal with a villain during a fight, you could just create it. You have the ability to respond to any kind of situation with your Quirk. Not to mention that you are also incredibly intelligent. I think that you are not very clear about the usefulness and potential of your Quirk. You could definitely become any type of hero you want."

"..." Momo stood blankly on the spot and was just looking at me without saying anything.

She pondered about my words and found them quite reasonable. Although she had never really said it out loud, but she sometimes thought to herself that her Quirk wasn't that good, after all.

It didn't really have a high 'attack power', so she thought. However, now after hearing what I'd just said, she suddenly imagined the many possibilities her Quirk offered.

A rescue-, or support-type hero who would be helpful in almost every kind of situation.

"BEGIN!" All Might's voice suddenly sounded out, announcing the start of the battle.

Momo snapped back from her thoughts and gratefully said to me, "Thank you, Jayden."

I smiled in response and replied, "Don't mention it. It was just the truth. More importantly, the battle has begun. Can you make some traps and place them somewhere near the places they could arrive?"

Momo nodded and prepared some traps that would be able to immobilize them but not exactly harm them.

After a few minutes, the heroes had finally arrived and were waiting sneakily behind the entrance of the room.

Jiro seemed to be using her Quirk to accurately determine our positions. I, naturally, could sense them and immediately gave Momo the signal to start our plan.

Momo nodded and activated the traps she had placed beforehand.

*BUZZ*

Suddenly, an extremely loud noise sounded out across the room, reaching even the lower floors, and naturally also the corridor where the heroes were currently hiding at.

"AHH!!!" a scream sounded out from the corridor.

Since Jiro was using her abilities to capture our movements and positions through sounds and vibrations, we came up with the idea to disrupt her Quirk by simply amplifying the volume.

In the end, the noise was too much for her and she couldn't help but scream out loud.

After the pain subsided, the heroes already knew that they had been discovered, so they decided to take the initiative and advance with their plan. And I must say, their strategy was not that bad, actually.

Right after entering the room, Kaminari used his Quirk [Electrification] on all the lights in the room and destroyed them. The room instantly became dark and you could hardly see anything around you.

Although it was still bright outside, this tactic of theirs, nevertheless, worked since we were in a room with no windows due to Midoriya, Bakugou and Todoroki having badly affected the building during their battles.

It also seemed like they had somehow already picked up the exact position of the weapon even in the darkness, since they were seemingly running towards it, right after they had entered the room.

It looked like their strategy was to distract us with the blackout while they'll quickly secure the objective in the darkness.

It was not a bad plan and I was sure that Jiro had come up with it, since Kaminari was kinda dumb..

But, unfortunately for them, one of their opponents was me. The darkness didn't even hinder me in the slightest. I had already captured their positions and locked on to them.

I first ran up to Kaminari, who was ironically also affected by the darkness, and punched him in his guts, sending him flying backwards. I held back a lot though, otherwise he would probably have some broken ribs by now.

While it seemed like a good strategy to use the blackout to distract us and then immediately run towards the objective, it also had an obvious loophole. They apparently hadn't thought of the possibility of me being able to 'see' through the darkness and accurately pinpoint their positions.

After knocking out Kaminari, I created several energy balls to brighten up the room. It was the preparation for our next move.

"Momo!" I shouted.

"Understand!" she instantly replied.

I didn't have to say more because she already knew what I wanted her to do. She immediately launched the cannon she had created at the now more than visible Jiro.

A large net flew out from the cannon and enveloped, as well as captured her in it. The cannon was already prepared beforehand, but due to the sudden blackout, Momo wasn't able to accurately take aim at the target. However with my help in illuminating the room, she was easily able to capture her target.

"VILLAINS... WIN!!" All Might's loud voice rang out through the loudspeakers.

I walked up to Momo and raised my hand in the air.

*Clap*

We gave each other a quick high-five, celebrating our win. I must say, we did very good as a team, and like I'd said and as you could see, her Quirk was useful in all kinds of situations.

"Good job! This was a really nice execution of us. See? Your Quirk is amazing." I smiled at her.

"Good work. Kuhum.. Yours is not that bad either-desuwa~." she embarrassingly said.

We stared at each other for a second before chuckling to each other.

"Ugh.." suddenly, a painful groan interrupted our laughter.

'Oh, we forgot about them.'

After our battle concluded, we arrived back at the surveillance room to receive our review for the battle.

"Now, who can tell me who the MVP was in this battle?" All Might asked.

"Hai~, sensei. Yaoyorozu-san and Jin-san are both the MVP of this battle. They both did exceptionally well and there is no clear distinction in who has done better than the other in this battle. They had come up with a very good counterstrategy against Jiro-san and Kaminari-san. Yaoyorozu-san used her Quirk to create a loud alarm device to neutralize Jiro-san's Quirk, while Jin-san immediately rendered the actions of Kaminari-san useless and then quickly incapacitated him. He has also created an opportunity for Yaoyorozu-san to immobilize and capture Jiro-san, thus achieving a seemingly well-executed victory." Iida stated his opinion in a fluent manner.

"Yes! A good analysis, Iida-shounen. You're right. Although, the plan the hero group has come up with wasn't really that bad, but they clearly didn't have a Plan B and therefore couldn't properly respond to the unexpected counterattack of the villain group." All Might nodded approvingly at Iida's explanation.

After reviewing our battle, the last battle of the day had also finally concluded. All Might praised us all for our wonderful performances in this battle trial and then told us to change our clothes and return to the classroom.

Everyone but Midoriya, who was at the Nurse's Office due to the severe injuries he'd received from the battle with Bakugo, did as All Might said and walked back to the changing room.

After changing my clothes, I didn't immediately follow the others back to the classroom. Since we still had a little bit of time left before the next class starts, I made my way towards the Nurse's Office, instead.

Aside from wanting to see how Midoriya was doing, I also wanted to talk to All Might a bit.
