Chapter 10 - Training

Urgh, it's the next day.

My stomachs still full from last night.

I got out of my bed and looked at my desk. How did I get here again? I was so full that I couldn't even get up so who brought me to my room? Yukio?

(Rin): "Morning Midori."

I only just noticed that Midori was one my covers. Doesn't he get cold sleeping there?

(Midori): "Good Morning, Rin-Sama."

(Rin): "Do you know where Yukio is?"

(Midori): "He mentioned something about going to the Cram School and preparing for lessons."

That guys awfully busy Isn't he? Wish he can just chill sometimes. Actually i need to make him chill else it'll get annoying later on.

(Rin): "Wanna carry on from yesterday?"

(Midori): "Touring the Dormitory? Sure!"

(Rin): "Alright, lets go."

Today is free a day for the normal students, but the students of the Cram school still has lessons in the Afternoon till 3:30 like yesterday.

After getting changed, Me and Midori headed out of the room and into the hallway. I looked at the Door number and it says 602. So it is the same. I had the feeling they made me change rooms or something since it was probably took an effort to pick me up.

We walked to the end of the hallway and found the bathroom. Bathroom!

(RIn): "While we're here, let's take a bath."

(Midori): "But Rin-Sama, I can't-"

(Rin): "Then as your Master I command you as my familiar to take a bath with me."

Trust me mate, you'll be thanking me later. Wait this sounds wrong out of context. I'm not into that kind of stuff!

We both took a bath at the same time since the bathtub is also massive and once again I took a bath for 2 hours.

(Rin): "Its 9:10 right now. Lets have breakfast then start training."

Yeah I said it. Training. Since I've came to this world I never had the chance to see my abilities so lets start after breakfast.

Ukobach served us breakfast even though he still looks tired from yesterday. Although I'm somewhat full from yesterday, it doesn't stop me from eating the food UKobach made. After all it's bad to waste good food. Especially from your friends.

Breakfast went by peacefully and me and Midori went outside to start training. Well I guess I should call it researching. Since I don't want to use my flames until Mephisto arranges the place for me to use, I'm gonna see what Midori can do now that he's my familiar.

(Rin): "So Midori, can you increase your size again?"

(Midori): "Sure!"

Midori increased his size to double my height. Wow your tall.

Unlike other mindless Goblins, Midori doesn't drool and his eyes aren't as sharp as it once was. He seems to be a domesticated Demon now.

(Rin): "Uh, what else can you do?"

(Midori): "When I'm in this form I feel much stronger and faster."

I witness Midori running at full speed. Bruh, he looked like he teleported. Interesting.

(Rin): "Can I summon you like how a tamer does?"

If I can summon Midori along with his enhanced speed he'll be a force to be reckoned with for middle class Demons and even for some high level Demons.

(Midori): "I don't know but I can feel a connection with you, Rin-sama after you gave me a name."

Sounds cliche, but great! I closed my eyes and focused on my connection with Midori. Nothing.

(Rin): "Hmm?"

Well this doesn't seem to work. If I want to make this work I need to think of a way. Oh.

(Rin): "Midori, can you go to the kitchen for a moment?"

(Midori): "Uh. Ok, Rin-Sama."

Midori converts back into his small size and goes back to the dorm. Lets try now.

I sit down cross legged and start thinking of Midori. I start picturing his appearance in my mind.

*Poof*

(Midori): "Huh? Rin-Sama?"

(Rin): "So it wasn't because I couldn't summon him, it's just that I can't picture him properly hence I couldn't summon him. Maybe if I get a good look at him when he's huge I might be able to imagine his image properly."

I start rambling on what I've discovered if my theory is correct than Midori is going to be more useful than I initially thought.

(Rin): "Don't worry. Now let's have a fight."

Since he's faster than he was before, I want to see how much he's changed since he became my familiar.

(Rin): "Bring it on and don't hold back. Think of it as training for both of us."

I need to get used to fight Demons anyway. Plus getting used to his speed will be helpful when dealing with future characters and events.

(Midori): "But Rin-Sama-"

(Rin): "Midori if I'm gonna become an exorcist and if your gonna be my familiar than we both need to get stronger. Right now all the power houses of this world wouldn't even need to flick their fingers to kill us so we need to prepare and be ready to fight when that moment happens."

Maybe I over exaggerated a bit, but oh well. Maybe I should be a pep talker?

(Rin): "Come let's start already, we have an hour left before I have to get ready for school."

I want to go early and see the others. I also need to introduce myself to the rest of the students even though they're probably weary of me as a Demon.

(Midori): "Fine!"

Midori finally attacked me and boy is he fast. I want flying by that punch.

(Midori): "Rin-Sama!"

(Rin): "Stop whining. Something like that isn't going to kill me."

I say that but that punch hurt! Luckily I can feel my wound slowly healing itself. Looks like I found something else new about myself.

(Rin): "Lets go again. Give it your best shot."

Midori attacked again, although I was prepared, I barely managed to dodge it.

(Rin): "Take this."

I tried returning the punch but got blocked.It seems like our physical strengths are even. We fought throwing punches and kicks at each other. Every once in a while either me or Midori go flying from missing our timing but we slowly improve on our fighting methods.

(Rin): "Haa… Haa… Hoo, that was fun! To bad we have Cram School to go to else I would've loved to continue."

Seriously that thrill of fighting was just like when I was exorcising the Goblins with Yukio.

I headed back to my dorm, took a light shower and got dressed into my usual uniform but with a beige vest with a pink "V" on the neck under my blazer since it's a bit chilly.

Once I finally got ready it was just 11:30. Still some time so I can introduce myself to the other classmates.

(Rin): "Time to go, Midori."

As soon as say this Midori jumped on top of my head and begun to sleep. Is my head really that comfortable?

I entered the key and walked into the Cram School. Really wish I could control space and time but I shouldn't get greedy.

When I entered the classroom, I saw Paku, Kamiki, Nemu Takara, a boy with messy, light brown hair and practically closed eyes give him a sleepy appearance, wearing the typical uniform but instead of the blazer he's wearing the jumper and has a pink puppet with a blue-greenish tie and Yamada, wearing a grey hoodie and black pants.

(Paku): "Good morning Okumura-kun~."

(Rin): "Morning. What you guys doing?"

(Kamiki): "Is it not obvious? We're obviously re-reading our notes from the previous day."

Ooh studious students. Maybe I can ask them to help me in my studies later?

(Rin): "I'll join you guys later."

I wave to the both of them as I headed towards Nemu Takara. He's sat a few desks away from me on the same row. In the Manga he was the most enigmatic so I want to see if I can get close to him

(Rin): "Nice to meet you. My name's Rin Okumura. Hope we get along."

(Puppet): "Beat it kid. There's no point in dealing with a loser like you."

Yikes. Harsh.

(Rin): "Oh wow, Ventriloquism."

Even if he doesn't want to interact with me, I have to say I am impressed with the Ventriloquism.

Seeing as I wont be able to carry on the conversation without me being insulted back, I move to Yamada or should I say Shura. Currently she's playing on her console and she sits at the back of the class..

(Rin): "Nice to meet you. My name's Rin Okumura. Hope we get along."

(Yamada): " "

Uh, I guess I'm being ignored. I don't know what to do in a situation like this so I walked back to Kamiki and Paku.

(Kamiki): "Nice going champ."

(Rin): "Oh leave me alone."

Come on I'm really trying here. Unlike me, those guys are pros so I thought if I give a good impression to them they might give me some tips. Oh well.

(Paku): "Oh Okumura-kun have you finished the homework?"

(Rin): "Huh? Homework?"

(Kamiki): "Unbelievable. We were given work to do yesterday! How could you have forgotten about it already!"

You say that but yesterday was a busy day. I had fun after school with you two, had a chat with Mephisto about Meisters and then a food war with Ukobach. You think I had anymore energy to do work after that?

(Rin): "I beg of you two please let me copy your work!"

I went on the floor and done a Dogeza

(Paku): "Okumura-kun you don't have to go so far to ask! here!"

(Rin): "Thank you Paku~."

Phew im saved. If I didn't find help I would've been screwed by Yukio's lecture.

(Suguro): "What's this Demon doing?"

Ryuji Suguru, a boy with Mohawk like hairstyle with the top blonde and the rest brown, with 3 earrings on each ear, a small Goatee and sharp brown eyes wearing the normal uniform with a beige shirt, enters the room when i'm in the Dogeza position.

He looks like a delinquent even though he's very serious and studious. So why is he trying to pick on me? Well whatever lets ignore him, afterall i need to finish the homework before Yukio enters the class.

(Suguro): "Oi, you death? I asked why is a Demon like you here attending Cram School."

(Rin): "Huh? Before you ask questions aren't you supposed to introduce yourself first?"

I need to keep calm else who knows what would happen if my flames release.

(Rin): "Plus what's with this racism? You never seen a Half demon before? Well I guess that makes sense since I can still smell the milk from you with my enhanced smelling."

Well I lied I can't smell milk from him but I do smell his breakfast, which is the same as mine.

(Suguro): "Why you little trash-!"

(Yukio): "What's happening here?"

Hehehe chance.

(Rin): "Sensei! Suguro-Kun is bullying me! He's calling me a damn Demon!"

I would like to deal with him with a punch to the face but that will get me into trouble. Unlike a normal person, I'm more vulnerable to being expelled purely because of my Demon heritage. Well I was prepared on being a good student when I revealed my tail but I didn't think I would have to face discriminnation like this. Oh well nothing I'm not used to. So you annoying little shit, lets see what you can do.

(Yukio): "Suguro-kun, can explain what the meaning of this is?"

(Suguro): "I just wanted to know what this Demon is doing here."

Not sure if that was the right thing to say when the victim just happens to be the older brother of a Yandere.

(Yukio): "Suguro-kun. Mind what you say. You should know that this Cram school allows half Demons to enrol so you shouldn't put them at a mockery. As punishment I will require you to stay after school and have a chat with you."

Yes! Little brother for the win!

(Miwa and Shima) "Good morning!"

And joining us to this scene is konekomaru miwa and renzo shima, both puzzled at the scene in front of them.

(Yukio): "Since everyone here let's start our lesson. Oh and who remembered to do their homework?"

I'm f.u.c.k.e.d.

(Yukio): "Rin."

(Rin): "Ugh, Y-Yes?"

(Yukio): "You did do the homework I set right?"

(Rin): "N-no"

(Yukio): "Good then I'll see you after school for detention than."

For God's sake what with this comedy scene? Can't I just do my last minute homework in peace!

(Rin): "Today is gonna be a long day."
