I'm inside a classroom with Yukio and Suguru. The reason I'm here?

I forgot to do my Homework. So I'm doing it now. After school. In detention. Fun.

Man this sucks, and it's only the second day of Cram School. This isn't gonna look good on my student tracker is it?

*Tick tock*

When the clock finally hit 4:30 Yukio stood

(Yukio): "You may all leave. I hope this doesn't happen again."

Finally! An hour after school for forgetting to do homework is too much! And having Yukio lecture me as well makes it much worse.

Yukio leaves me in the room with the Gorilla. Oi Sensei you think that's a good idea?

(Rin): "So about earlier..."

Lets try to sort this out else it'll get annoying later down the line.

(Suguro): "What about it?"

Suguro glares at me and ask me with a stern expression. Those eyes were similar to my previous eyes.

(Rin): "You just wanted to know why I want to become an Exorcist, right? Well I'm not gonna share my secret just like that."

Even though I don't really care if they find out my reason, but let's make it sound more serious than it actually is. Afterall, if I said I want to enjoy my life, I'm sure he's gonna get pissed again and try telling me I'm unserious or some other bullshit. Honestly, I wish people like him could just leave me alone.

I walked out of the room with a puzzled Suguro inside.

Well I better head to Mephisto's office and see how the training room progress is going and when I'm supposed to meet the blacksmith he recommends me to see.

*Poof*

(Mephisto): "Oh Okumura-kun I've made an appointment for you with the Blacksmith later today at 6 and I've arranged a suitable place for you to train your... Abilities. Here~!"

And like always Mephisto appears out of nowhere. This time he throws two keys at my face. Honestly do you have something against my face? One of the keys has a flame symbol at its base and on the other has an anvil on it.

But seriously, can you read my mind? It's getting creepy how conveniently you always appear.

(Rin): "Oh I forgot to mention, can you get me a lot of candles?"

(Mephisto): "Mmm? You have a lot of favours don't you? Well just remember you owe me."

Welp, I think I screwed up. Hopefully the favour isn't anything annoying and only something to do with Demons, but I do understand that I'm asking a lot and he's not getting anything as a benefit. I wonder what's he planning?

(Mephisto): "Well I have other things to do, so I'll see you later~. Oh and your sword instructor and Demon Aura instructor are going to start teaching you from Tomorrow onwards~. You'll meet them at the Training ground!"

*Poof*

And he disappeared again. You could've at least tell me their names. Like I don't know who my instructors are. In canon it was Shura that taught Rin but Shura is still acting as Yamada. Oh well, lets deal with it tomorrow.

(Rin): "What should we do for the time being?"

I looked up to and asked Midori. It was just a bit after 4:30 so I still have some time. Maybe I'll look at the training room for all Exorcists. Or I guess I should say the gym.

(Rin): "Wanna look around for a bit?"

I haven't really looked around this place since I came anyway so it's killing two birds with one stone.

I walked around asking the teachers and Exorcist where the Gym is and I finally found my way to the Gym.

(Rin): "Well that took longer than I thought it would."

Its already 5 so I still have some time till my appointment.

I looked around the Training Room. There's equipment like Treadmill and Weights everywhere with some weird patterns all over the wall. Well I guess it's the True Cross Academies Speciality. There's even a batting center.

(Rin): "Isn't this where Rin tried batting?"

I whispered to myself. If I remember correctly this was where Rin went after revealing his flames to everyone. Hmm? I wonder how I'm gonna deal with the event with Amaimon? Well lets try the batting machine out for a bit.

(Machine): "Set to beginner mode."

I grabbed a wooden sword that was lying around and put Kurikara on the floor. Midori is at the other machine trying to hit the baseballs in his tiny form.

(Machine): "Begin training."

The machine sent out a ball at a relatively normal speed. Honestly it feels kind of slow to me after fighting Midori for an hour but it slowly starts getting faster and faster.

(Machine): "Beginner mode has been completed. Beginning intermediate mode."

(Rin): "Stop Intermediate mode."

I would love to continue to the other modes, but I have an appointment soon. Its already 5:50 so I better get there early and leave a good impression.

I approached the entrance of the gym and placed the key in the hole. I opened the door and there was a forest. I entered and looked around, behind me is an old house.

So this is where the blacksmith works/lives, huh.

(Rin): "Excuse me, is anyone here?"

I shout somewhat loudly to see if I got I the right key. Hopefully Mephisto didn't screw me over here.

(???): "Here!"

I hear a voice coming from the other side of the house. The house is isolated from the outside by all the trees so I just walked around the house. There I see a female who has pink-brownish hair with a lot of it tied to the right side of her head, pink eyes, wearing glasses and a white kimono.

Wait isn't she the anime exclusive character that fixed Rin's sword when it was broken by Amaimon? What was her name again?

(Rin): "Nice to meet you. My name is Rin Okumura. I was told I have an appointment with a Blacksmith to make a look alike sword of this."

I pointed at Kurikara. I wonder if she's making it or her father?

(Yoshikuni): "Nice to meet you to. My name is Xi Yoshikuni. Yes, Sir Pheles has already told me about you and your sword."

She looks at me with sparkling eyes. Or should I say at my sword? Well I guess it makes sense since it was her ancestors that made this sword.

(Rin): "Your not repulsed at me?"

(Yoshikuni): "Nope."

Heh, that was a quick answer.

(Yoshikuni): "Well it's not uncommon for me to have clients that are either Demons or Half-Demons. Plus I don't have a grudge against Satan but even then its a bit scary knowing I'm dealing with his son. Plus I owe one to Sir pheles."

Why do I have a bad premonition incoming? I felt a chill when she mentioned Mephisto. Please don't kill me Mephisto with your favours.

(Yoshikuni): "Wanna come inside so we can get down to business."

I entered the house along with Yoshikuni. It's surprisingly spacious and gives the ancient japanese vibe. In my past life I was born a raised in England so this is a new experience for me entirely.

(Yoshikuni): "May I see your Katana?"

(Rin): "Uh... Sure."

To be honest I'm kinda afraid my flames will go wild. Since I've come to this world I've been trying to avoid using it as much as possible. Well I guess this will be good training.

I hand over my Kurikara to Yoshikuni and close my eyes, preparing for the worst. Honestly I feel a bit insecure without it now.

(Yoshikuni): "Amazing! Those flames of yours looks beautiful!"

(Rin): "Huh?"

I open my eyes and realise everything around me is in a shade of blue. Huh? What's happening?

It wasn't like this when I used my flames when taming Midori. So why is it different now?

I touch my ears and notice how different they are. They're much longer, they feel a little s.e.n.s.i.t.i.v.e and I feel like my hearings improved. Not just hearing I feel like all my five senses have improved at least by double.

(Yoshikuni): "Alright I've made the measurements for the look a like for your Katana. The sheathe and the cover will also be the same. Anything else?"

When she unsheathes Kurikara I feel the change in 5 senses again. How should I say it? The transition back feels weird. Hmm? I wonder what else my flames can improve? Maybe my physical strength? Or my Demon regeneration?

Looks like I have more research to conduct. Hehe, Can't wait.

(Rin): "Umm, how long will it take to make the Katana?"

I'm not in a big rush but I want to know how long it'll take.

(Yoshikuni): "It shouldn't take too long, however I think it'll take three to four working days, as it takes time refining the metal and making the custom Katana shape and other stuff that I'm sure will bore you."

Alright that's cool.

(Yoshikuni): "Now about the price..."

(Rin): "Huh?"

Wait... There's a price?

(Yoshikuni): "Yes~! Mephisto said that you'll cover the cost for making the Katana."

Yoshikuni gives me a smile whilst giving me this bad news.

I knew I had a bad f.u.c.k.i.n.g premonition but I didnt think it had anything to do with Yoshikuni.

That Mephisto... No wonder he easily agreed to my requests!

(Rin): "Uh, I'm a bit broke right now but I promise I'll be able to pay as soon as graduate as an Exorcist or get a job!"

I'm gonna give him a piece of my mind when I get back!

(Yoshikuni): "So... Your telling me you came here to have a custom made Katana but you don't have the money for making it. Is that correct?"

Uh oh

(Rin): "Uh, yes..."

(Yoshikuni): "Do you think a blacksmith has the free time to make a sword without being paid! Especially when that blacksmith is still a highschool student...!"

30 minutes later.

I received another lecture. How did I know today was gonna be a long day?

(Yoshikuni): "Haa. I can't believe this. So Mephisto also tricked you, huh. Well so be it, you owe me dept of 400,000 yen."

Guh. 400,000 Yen! That's like £3000!

(Rin): "Y-yes."

I just want to leave. My heart feels like it's bleeding right now.

(Yoshikuni): "Alright I'll call you when I'm finished with the katana. Oh and give me your phone number so I can contact you easily."

Sure but there's one problem.

(Rin): "Uh, how do I send you my number?"

I don't know how to use a phone. Right now I'm using father old phone which he gave to me to call Mephisto but I haven't used it since then. Plus in my old life my mother never let me use her phone, let alone getting my own phone.

(Yoshikuni): "Haa, I feel tired already. Fine, give it here. I'll teach ya how to use it."

After a few minutes Yoshikuni told me how to use my phone, how to dial a new number and other stuff like connecting to the internet. Looks so much fun! Plus she gave me some games she recommends me to play. I can't wait!

(Yoshikuni): "Well here's my number. I'll call you when the Katana is ready. I'll probably call you if I have any favours, of course you will do them because of our debt."

Yoshikuni is seriously scary when it comes to money, isn't she? Haah, I can't believe I'm already in dept this young.

I walked out of her house but then I realised.

(Rin): "Wait how am I gonna get back to the academy?"

Shit the doors closed and it's only a one way key. Oh wait.

(Rin): "Luckily I have the Cram School Key. Man that could've ended badly."

I really wanna sleep now but it's only 7. Dinner should be made right about now.
