My Life In Blue Exorcist

A little side story because I thought "why not?", I'll be doing these for other characters perspectives on situations or for little scenes like this one. I would've uploaded this sooner but I got distracted again. Sorry. This is a skippable chapter but it goes into detail with the characters outside of Rin's perspective.

Welp, onwards with the filler story!

P.s, the main chapter for this week is taking longer than I thought to edit so it should be out later tomorrow or the day after. Again, sorry >w<

-Sora's Pov-

Rin and I wave at each other before parting ways, I decided to stay outside the boys' dormitory for a bit to finish up my warm-up before going on a 5k run. Seriously though, Rin surprised me with his sudden interest in sports. Most Demons don't care about activities like these since they have superior strength that can easily beat skill.

Well, that's if the person they're facing is an ordinary human.

But seeing Rin swallowing his pride to ask me for help really surprised me. Well, I guess he didn't really think much of asking me a favour. Makes me wish other Demons were easy to deal with. Oh, and I can't forget about the food too! I'd definitely hire Rin to be my personal Chef if things don't work out at school or as an Exorcist.

(Sora): "Heh, it's been a while since I haven't enjoyed eating whatever I want..."

I say that with a little sigh as depressing thoughts appear once again. What's done is done. I say that as I shake my head in an attempt to get rid of them. After a while of running, I started thinking about Rin's cooking. I've had his food when he got challenged by Naneko and since then I've fallen in love with his cooking!

I wonder what's on the menu for breakfast? Now that I think about it, Rin looks a little goofy and the lazy type but he's actually serious and hard working person. I think I like his competitive nature the most though, as he doesn't like giving up even after I kept on stealing the ball for the 200th time. I'm sure to a normal Demon that would've broken their pride, after all, Kasamugi is a prime example.

Heh, I remember when I first met Kasamugi in our first year of school. He was so anti-social and prideful compared to what he is now. I guess it shocked him to find out a human is able to contend against a Demon. Shows him, he even got himself a girlfriend after changing his perspective, though he's really secretive about his past.

Makes me wonder if Rin had something similar. He does have that blank on his face whenever he's not talking or laughing. Almost like a frown, the transition is a little startling, it's as if he cuts himself away from others even if they're right near him.

Heh, it's at times like this that the shoujo protagonist would say she'd help her friend out and make some sh.i.p.s before having to choose which one to end up with but I can't bring myself to say those stupid words.

After all, I'm also in the same boat as him. I don't think I deserve a happy ending like that...

(Phone: *ring*)

I start reminiscing my past for a bit before being interrupted by a phone call. I honestly want to complain about who's calling me so early in the morning but when I looked at the contact I quickly answered the phone.

(Sora): "Morning Shura-neesan, what's up?"

(Shura): "Haha, morning Sora, sorry to disturb your training but I wanted to tell you something. It's quite urgent."

My older sister, Shura called me as her voice had a hint of seriousness she usually doesn't have. I squint my eyes at what she said as I urge her to continue.

(Shura): "While I was out in the area I felt a large amount of Demonic energy coming from your school before it suddenly disappeared once again. I tried investigating the scene but I was soon stopped by that Clown of a principle. There seems to have been a Demon roaming on your schools' Campus. Mephisto is definitely hiding something so stay safe till I find out."

(Sora): "No problem. Good luck on your mission!"

The conversation then shifted to how my studies were going and if I had a boyfriend or anything yet. I had to lie between my teeth when I told her about my grades. In truth, I'm slightly below average but I don't want to break Shura's heart with the news.

I guess I need to start studying again… I shouldn't keep running away, huh.

As for the matter of having a boyfriend or not, I told her nobody interested me before Shura hung up as she had things to deal with.

(Sora): "Haaah, that's refreshing. Let's take a bath."

After drinking water from my sports drink, I jogged my way back to the Academy and reached the Dormitory in 20 minutes. On my way back to the dorm I got stares from the boys also jogging but I ignore their obvious advances by outrunning them with my speed. After all, I'm not the "Club Queen" for nothing! I outrun the entire relay team and track team on their home turf! Even their Aces couldn't put a candle up against me!

Well, after I got back to the Dormitory room Tsuno and I are staying in, the clock just hit 6:15, about the time everyone wakes up. Seeing as Tsuno is already awake, I greeted her with my usual hug attack.

(Sora): "Mitsuko style: Tsuno hug!"

I wrapped my arms around Tsuno as the person herself has the usual expressionless face. She looks unfazed as always but I could tell from her eyes that she's still sleepy and is on auto-pilot mode. So cute!

After a few minutes of playing around with Tsuno's silver hair and making the beds, the two of us headed to the bathroom since I worked up a sweat and Tsuno likes taking a bath to wake up properly. We got to the changing rooms to change but when we were changing, Tsuno mentioned something that slipped my mind.

(Kirihime): "Boy's Dorm?"

Tsuno says that as the words come crashing towards me. How could I forget, we're not in the girl's dorm anymore!

Remembering the fact that they're boys in this building, I keep my guard up as I slightly release my senses to see if anyone's inside the bathtubs. I sense three people in the bathtub which made me worried about it being the boys but then I realised that it's Akane, Naneko and Chelsea.

Phew, that was a big scare. I cannot let any of the boys lay their hands on Tsuno! Even their eyes could ruin her!

(Naneko): "Oh, morning Sora! Morning Tsuno!"

As we enter the bathroom, we get greeted by our favourite black-haired Cat Demon, Naneko. Naneko smiles at us as her golden eyes smile in mischief once again. Oh boy.

(Akane): "Morning Sora, Tsuno"

(Kirihime): "Good morning."

Akane leaves the bathtub to help Tsuno clean herself. I've noticed this before but Akane and Tsuno seem to have a little bond with each other even though they don't talk that often.

Strange, I wonder why?

(Noriko): "Oh, looks like there are people here."

(Izumo): "See, I told you so."

Just as I used the water bucket to pour water over myself, I hear the door opening to the two new girls that we got introduced last night. Rin told us beforehand that they're just like him, Exorcist in-training, so as their senior I befriended them first and gave my best "big sister smile" as I could.

(Sora): "Morning to you two."

(Noriko): "Ah, good morning Sorano-senpai."

(Izumo): "Yeah morning Sorano-senpai."

The two greet me as they walk in with their towels around their body. The two have slim figures with Izumo bashfully holding her towel for dear life while Noriko seems slightly better but still shy. Looks like the girls are self-conscious.

I look around the bathtub and examine everyone else's figures once again. Starting with myself, I have a fairly large set but for comparison's sake, I'm about the same size as the blonde girl, Shiemi. Don't think my trained eyes won't notice the melons that girl has. Makes me wonder how big they'll get in the future.

Well, back to my description, I have light blue hair that goes past my shoulders but just above my back with hair falling on my fringe and both sides of my face, I usually have the back braided into two parts. I'm quite tall among the girls, about the same height as Rin.

Then to Tsuno who doesn't have much on her c.h.e.s.t, but her slim waist and legs are something to make the girls jealous of. She has silver hair like I mentioned before that's actually longer than mine and goes down to her waist. Also silver eyes and about a head shorter than me. She always carries the expressionless look but she's quite easy to get along with once you get to know her.

After all, it's what saved me before...

Next is Akane, the black-haired half-s.u.c.c.u.b.u.s that goes mid-back with the ends of her fringe coloured red, with deep red eyes, c.h.e.s.t that has room for potential, ears that are common for Demons, small S.u.c.c.u.b.u.s wings, a red spade-like red tail and slightly taller than Tsuno. She's similar to Tsuno in many ways than one except she's more expressive and shy around others, especially boys. She still isn't able to have a face-to-face conversation with Kasamugi or Sae even after knowing them for more than a year now.

Though she seems to have no problem with Rin after knowing him for less than 2 weeks. Hehehe, I wonder what's that about?

(Naneko): "Hmm? What's with that smile?"

Naneko, the black-haired cat-girl, questions me after making a little chuckle after looking at Akane scrubbing Tsuno's back.

I turn my head towards Naneko before quickly analysing her body, she has black hair that goes past her back, golden eyes though one is usually covered by her fringe, a fairly large c.h.e.s.t, probably bigger than Shiemi but less than my nee-sans, a slim waist, slightly pointy ears as expected of a Demon and two black tails.

(Sora): "I see you've grown."

I say that as I get the jump on Naneko. Don't underestimate me because I'm human, I'm quite fast and can rival most in terms of speed. Naneko, who wasn't prepared at my surprise attack quickly falls over as I begin examining her c.h.e.s.t with my hands.

(Naneko): "For god's sake you creepy old Exorcist!"

Naneko says that as I begin playing around with her c.h.e.s.t.

(Sora): "Damn, these melons keep getting bigger. Don't your shoulders hurt? Let me help."

I say these words as I look at the two newcomers reactions. They both looked shocked by my sudden movement and the fact that I'm groping Naneko. Hopefully, they don't become self-conscious after this but it'll probably still happen, huh.

(Naneko): "Ok get off of me!"

(Sora): "Wah?"

While I wasn't paying attention, Naneko soon overpowers me and pushes me off her which caused me to fall in the bathtub. Ouch.

(Chelsea): "Haaaa, looks like we have another lively morning, huh."

Chelsea says that as she rubbed her temples once again. Chelsea has lavender hair and dark pink eyes with a slim frame but her c.h.e.s.t and height are similar to mine. You could say Chelsea is like the mother of the group as she clearly cares the most for everyone, even to a stupid extent sometimes but it's usually to make sure none of us actually fight with each other. I guess it makes sense since she has a little sister to take care of along with her parents...

I shake my head when I started thinking about them… it's been over two years since I've left huh.

(Naneko): "Take this!"

Naneko says that as she throws a bucket full of water to my face. I was too busy thinking that I didn't react at all which caused me to have water up my nose.

(Sora): "Is that how we're playing this, huh."

I say that as I begin my attack by throwing water at her but the sneaky Cat manages to predict it before swiftly taking cover behind Chelsea who takes the brunt of my attack.

(Chelsea): "You two…"

Chelsea says that with a low voice as the air around her turns slightly cold. I could swear I could feel the water trembling from here words but I put that thought in the back of my head as I begin to defend myself from the incoming water attacks.

(Chelsea): "Don't think you're safe, little Cat."

Chelsea says that as she glared at the little cat laughing in the corner of the tub. Naneko, noticing her glare acts startled and tries to run away from Chelsea but it was too late.

(Izumo): "Is this normal around here."

As I was busily counterattacking Naneko and Chelsea, I hear Izumo asking Akane a question, who has just finished scrubbing Tsuno's back. Akane briefly glances at the three of us before she spoke.

(Akane): "Just leave them be. They're just messing around but they mean well "

Akane says that with a little sigh and drops her shoulders. Izumo looks like she was seeing a group of idiots before turning her head probably thinking that we're lost causes.

(Kirihime): "It's just a normal morning for them."

Tsuno spoke to them for the first time with her usual monotone voice which surprised Noriko and Izumo but quickly ignored them after going to sit in one corner of the tub away from the Chaos.

Soon we all settled down after our excitement was over before talking about the Culture Club to Noriko and Izumo.

(Izumo): "So what do you guys even do in the Culture Club?

(Naneko): "Well, a lot of things I guess. Right now we're doing and Art Contest where the winner gets 2 tickets to the 'Plus Ultra concert'."

(Izumo): "Seriously? Damn, I should've joined if I knew that."

Izumo says that as she furrows her small eyebrows. Honestly, they look cute, but when I mentioned them to Izumo she only blushed while covering her forehead. Poor girl, she's too self-conscious of herself.

(Sora): "Oh? But you can still join if you want. I'm sure Rin and the other guys will love having the two of you join the club."

I say that jokingly since I've only seen the two of them interact with Rin, his familiars and the other girls. I feel bad for Kasamugi, Sae and Yanno but I guess they don't seem to mind.

(Izumo): "I don't think so…"

Izumo says that after contemplating something to herself. Hmm, she showed a glimpse of sadness before making her decision...

I wonder if it has something to do with her goal of being an Exorcist?

(Noriko): "Are you sure Izu-chan? It doesn't hurt to join in on the activities every once in a while."

(Izumo): "Fine, if Noriko says so then I'll join."

Izumo finally agrees after giving a sigh. It looks like we forced her through peer pressure but I hope it helps her relax a little. Though I think I've been relaxing a little too much. I need to take things seriously, huh.

The conversation soon changed to everyone's hobbies and stuff. Mines mainly sports and games, Naneko is taking naps and drawing/painting, Akane is gaming and sparring, Chelsea is training and reading, Tsuno is reading and studying, Izumo likes Shoujo manga and watching movies and finally Noriko likes Watch dance videos, dancing herself and reading books.

Amethyst joined the bathtub a little later and told us that her hobbies are gardening and listening to music. When music got mentioned everyone started talking about their favourites and started recommending each other their favourite artist/music.

Soon everyone started leaving the bathtub with Izumi leaving first followed by Noriko and the rest of the Club members. It feels like we all got closer to Noriko and Izumo, hopefully, we can remain as friends.
