My Life In Blue Exorcist

(Shiemi): "Oh Rin, where were you?"

After saying goodbye to Miss Moriyama, I headed up to the staircase but this time without Nee to accompany me. I don't know where he went but I guess I don't need to worry about it, for now, considering he's gonna be Shiemi's familiar in the future. I'm aware that I might be mistaken, but I don't want to change canon in a way that could make someone weaker than before. Unless it's someone that's gonna be my enemy.

I ran up the stairs at full speed, essentially jumping a few flights of stairs per jump, until I managed to reach the end. It only took me 2 minutes to the top before I crawled out of the bed and sat down at my spot when I sensed Shiemi's presence.

(Rin): "Sorry, I was in the restroom."

I said with a wry smile while scratching my head. I'm more curious about Shiemi now and her family's secret. Now, if I was an absolute ċunt, I'd deploy Kage into spying the Moriyama family, which would make this mystery solved much more quickly but wheres the fun in that? Plus I don't want to give that kind of job to my cute daughter.

I'll let them have their privacy, for now, I'll just slowly enjoy building up the puzzle and respect their privacy a little. Like I said before, I have a few theories in mind about Shiemi but there's one theory I'm hoping is correct. It'd make the future interesting if that's the case.

(Shiemi): "Oh okay. Izu-chan and Nori-chan were wondering where you went before heading to the kitchen to help my mother make something for dinner."

Looks like I worried them a little huh. Though I question if either of them can cook. I see them buy lunch meals at the convenience shop or my food shop so I find it a little unlikely they could.

(Rin): "Well, for now, it's you and me, sensei. Treat me well, as always."

(Shiemi): "Yes, my kouhai!"

Shiemi says that enthusiastically while doing a double guts gesture which made her brėȧsts bounce a little. Goddamnit anime physics. I both love 'em and hate 'em.

We continued having random chats while dealing with Exorcists of all kinds placing their orders. Their questioning looks towards me sorta bugged me in the beginning but I got used to it after the 5th customer. I'm just glad nothing like yesterday happened again. I wouldn't want to scare Shiemi after all. Well, not yet at least.

Today was busier than yesterday, I guess it was because it's a Sunday, huh. Anywho, my shift was over before I knew it and I was greeted to another dinner at the Moriyama house.

(Miss Moriyama): "Ah, it feels like I have my daughter-in-law's cooking food for me."

Miss Moriyama says that after taking a bite out of the food which makes the three girls blush from embarrassment. I can understand Noriko and Izumo, but why's Shiemi blushing? You're her daughter remember?

(Noriko): "Thank you for the compliment, Ma'am."

(Miss Moriyama): "Please, call me Auntie, Noriko-chan."

Noriko says that whilst trying to hide her embarrassment while Miss Moriyama gets extra friendly with them. Auntie huh. Guess she really likes them.

(Rin): "Yes, Auntie."

I say that jokingly as I take another bite from my rice bowl. It's actually really good. I wouldn't mind if they cook us instead.

(Izumo): "Aren't you too comfortable with the situation?" .

(Rin): "What do you mean? She complimented the two of you, not me. By the way, I'm surprised you can even cook."

Never thought she could since she usually buys instant noodles or bento boxes whenever I ran into them in the convenience store. I guess I should stop underestimating this tsundere.

(Izumo): "Of course I can! Who couldn't even make such a simple meal like this?"

Izumo says that whilst raising her ċhėst with a 'hmpf'. I gave her a blank look at the tsundere act before Noriko jumped in.

(Noriko): "Even though Izu-chan nearly messed up the recipe twice and even- mhmm mhmm."

Noriko was about to say something to embarrass Izumo but wasn't able to continue when Izumo forced fed her a grilled fish using her chopsticks. I guess they're close enough to not care about indirect kisses and stuff.

(Izumo): "Gosh, you didn't need to tell him!"

(Noriko): "Haha, I know, I know."

The two of them messed around a little as we ate relatively in silence. I kept getting looks from Izumo for some reason which made me confused if it's because of what I said before or because she wanted a compliment for the food. Even after I complimented the food, she still gave me the weird looks, confusing me more in which I just ignored her instead and enjoyed my food.

(Rin): "I'll drop you two off before heading back. I got a key to my dorm so it won't be much trouble."

I got permission from Miss Moriyama to leave early again to drop off Izumo and Noriko. It's a little weird talking to her after knowing she's aware of my snooping around but other than that, nothing else happened. She must have her plans, huh.

(Noriko): "Huh? No fair, why can't we have one ourselves. That'd save us the trouble of walking to the dorms from the Cram School."

Noriko says in surprise as she soon complains. I could do them the favour of using my silver flames to teleport us, but that'd sorta reveal my identity and I don't want to show them my abilities just yet. Not to mention it might cause some unwanted stuff to happen in the future. Let's just leave it how it is for now.

(Izumo): "Even with it, you'd still drag me or Shiemi to another shop or cafe you'd find."

(Noriko): "Haha, I can't help it."

Izumo says as she finally packs her stuff up and is ready to leave. Shiemi soon comes to show us out as we use a key to go to the cram school then walk towards the girl's dormitory. Unlike the old boy's dorm, the girls one is closer to the main campus so it didn't take too long to get there.

We spent the time talking about different shops and cafes around the city and I even got some recommendations for a few of their favourites. I guess this'll help when I start going after a relationship.

(Noriko): "Let's go shopping one day. We can show you some of our favourite bakeries and sweet shops."

Noriko suggests as we make it to the girl's dorm front entrance. She did a little twirl as she says with a smile as she fixes the locks of hair that went to her face thanks to the twirl.

(Izumo): "I'm only agreeing to this because of Noriko."

Izumo says next to her as she looks away, not making eye-contact with me.

(Rin): "Sounds like fun. Call me when you wanna meet up. Though I might be busy, so sorry in advance."

(Noriko): "No worries!"

We said our goodbyes after I got invited to shop with them. Sounds like fun, though I hope they don't plan to make me carry their bags or something. I may be strong but I ain't no slave.

(Izumo): "!"

I turned around when I felt the stare of Izumo on my back. Again, the weird look. I can't tell if she's feeling sad or if she's just analysing me. Well, whatever it may be, I gave her a wink before turning around once again.

Guess I'll keep an eye on her for a little.

-Next day, Monday, after school-

(Kasamugi): "Afternoon everyone!"

After another uninteresting day of school, Yanno and I headed to the Culture club for the chaos Kasamugi caused. I got a certain message from him last night which annoyed me for what's to come. This goddamn redhead...

(Kasamugi): "So firstly, I'd like to introduce everyone to our new members: The blonde Shiemi, the foxy Izumo, and the eagle Noriko. And in addition to the three beauties, although they have yet to officially join us, our honorary members are the innocent Kage, the Neko Kuro, and the mischievous Midori."

Kasamugi, who's standing on a pedestal in the middle of the room, announces the names of the new members before we got greeted by a loud bang from the confetti cannons. Seriously, where does he get these things? I better run before he asks for help to clean this shit up.

(Rin): "I got a bone to pick with you, mate. Why are you making my kids watch those shitty series for? Like what the hell man?"

I walked towards Kasamugi as I had the urge to punch him, but I tried calming down to avoid making a scene. I've been too quick to hit someone lately.

(Kasamugi): "Oh come on, they're big kids already. Watching a few series that are above their age range is exciting. I'm sure you did the same too."

Well, I can't deny I have seen them since I was 10 or so, I don't want to agree with him. They would've found out on their own and I'd be fine with it, but that's not the case right now.

(Rin): "Bish, exciting my ȧss! You basically showed them hėntȧɨ!"

I shouted my top off as I pull a small tantrum. Not to self, have the kids stay away from Kasamugi else they'll pick up a thing or two from him.

I took a deep breath knowing this was going nowhere. Mugi likes being annoying so I'm sure he's getting a kick out of this.

(Rin): "So why did you make us wear our Pj's for?"

I say that with a somewhat tired voice, trying to change subjects as I look around at what everyone is wearing. Kasamugi himself is wearing an anime-styled black T-shirt with chibi Kirito and Asuna over it, white bottoms and his usual red headphones around his neck. I never thought I'd see a major weeb in my life, much less in an anime world.

(Sora): "It's not bad if you ask me. It shows some variety in this club."

Sora sneaks up behind me whilst placing a hand on my shoulder. I turned around to look at what she's wearing and from the looks of it, she's wearing a brown rabbit onesie.

(Rin): "Fan of rabbits?"

I question why she had one but before she answered, she ran to a corner of the room to Kirihime who's watching tv. Kirihime herself is wearing a Pikachu onesie which made my head click in realisation. For fuċks sake.

(Rin): "This takes the cake on the variety, wouldn't you say?"

Aren't you making it too obvious? Unless Kirihime is dense or never watched Pokemon. Though I must say they do look good with those onesies, it makes them look younger than their actual age. I am just wearing a black top with an acoustic guitar logo on it and grey bottoms. It's one of Rins old pj's but I didn't care about the designs since they were comfy compared to what I wore in my last life.

(Sora): "Nah, everyone else should've gone all out instead!"

Sora says that whilst hugging Kirihime who seems too engrossed with the show she's watching that she didn't realise Sora was taking advantage of her again. I didn't bother with the two as I looked at the rest of the club members who are participating in this mess of an event.

I spotted a certain trio from looking around, the cram school girl trio. Izumo's wearing a plain white shirt and pink shorts, Shiemi is wearing a pink Yukata with white flowers and bunnies on it, meanwhile, Noriko is wearing a simple grey tank top and black bottoms. They were all talking about something before noticing me.

(Izumo): "Would you quit staring at us already?"

Izumo says that as she quickly covers her ċhėst while the other two act bashfully. Oi, I only glanced at you guys, not stared.

(Rin): "So glancing equals to staring? Nice logic you have there."

I say that sarcastically as I roll my eyes. Why are we even doing this?

(Noriko): "It's like we're having a sleepover party. Well, minus the sleep part."

Noriko tries to calm Izumo down while maintaining her usual cheeriness. Sleepover huh.

(Rin): "So we're just having an over party?"

(Izumo): "Nice dad joke."

I felt like making a shitty joke before Izumo called me out on it. Sorry, couldn't help it.

(Shiemi): "I-I've never been in a sleepover before!"

Shiemi says nervously as her face heats up to red blush. Her face looks cute when she misunderstands stuff like this. Now that I think about it, I've never been in one myself.

(Izumo): "Relax, this doesn't even count as one."

Izumo immediately pours cold water over Shiemi which makes her a little sad at the realisation. Jeez, be a little less blunt, will ya?

(Noriko): "We should probably have one ourselves then."

(Shiemi): "Could we?!"

(Izumo): "Well… if Paku says so then fine."

I smile as I look at the trio who seem like good friends. They've already changed compared to canon huh. The three of them wouldn't even have talked often until much later. It's good I made them become friends so I wouldn't have to deal with their drama in the future.

(Izumo): "Why are you just smiling? You're definitely not joining if we're having one"

Izumo says that with a sharp tone as she glares at me. I swear sometimes…

(Rin): "Awww, you know how to break a heart, Izu-chan. I was just thinking that you guys are good friends, that's all."

I teased Izumo with her little nickname before waving them goodbye to speak to the other club members. Well, mainly because I can see Kasamugi stamping towards Yanno so I want to see what's gonna happen.

(Kasamugi): "Yanno! Why didn't you bring your pj's!"

Kasamugi quickly confronts Yanno who's just sitting at the sofa playing a video game whilst wearing his school uniform. Weirdly enough, he's the odd one out in this mess of a club activity. Seems like Yanno and Mugi don't get along well huh. I guess it's because of that pokemon card thing.

(Yanno): ��Yeah cause I don't like pj's. Sleeping with clothes on is grim."

Yanno says that with a somewhat blank look and tired voice. He's been like this all day, I wonder if he's been having trouble sleeping? Might have something to do with his inner demon? I'll ask him later.

(Kasamugi): "Even so! You could've brought something to wear! Even casual clothes would do!"

Kasamugi shouts as he causes a little tantrum. Why does it feel like Kasamugi is more troublesome than my kids? He overreacts a little too quick.

(Yanno): "Sorry pres, It was too late of a notice for me."

Yanno replies with an apologetic expression before continuing with his game. Yep, we need a little talk about his demon huh. His attitude seems a little off.

Either way, I should get him talking to Naneko and Akane soon so they can work together. Teamwork makes the dreamwork after all. Plus I haven't trained him in a while

(Kasamugi): "Goddammit, try putting some effort into this, will ya?"

Kasamugi reprimanded Yanno one last time before giving up. I feel like he's a little too into the club activities. It's a little suffocating though.

(Yanno): "Will do next time."

Yanno replies with a thumbs up before noticing Naneko and Akane walking towards us.

(Naneko): "Oh? Seems like Yanno forgot to bring in his pj's."

Naneko says that as she walks in the clubroom, wearing pink shorts and a plain white t-shirt followed by Akane who is wearing something similar but clearly aren't her size. I wonder if they're Naneko's clothes? Something about that sight had my eyes glued on her for a little bit before turning back to Mugi.

(Kasamugi): "See? Even Naneko remembered to bring in her pj's!"

Kasamugi immediately shouts, which hurt my ears a little, before pointing at Naneko. Doesn't she usually wear pj's? She wore them when we were training in the pocket dimension after all.

(Naneko): "Well kinda? I usually sleep with just shorts on. Wearing a shirt when I sleep feels uncomfortable. Oh, Akane's the same. She sleeps with only a T-shirt, usually one of mine."

Naneko says that without the hint of embarrassment whereas Akane hides behind Naneko both from her androphobia and embarrassment. Her fear of guys is still strong huh.

(Yanno): "See! I'm not the only one who does it!"

(Kasamugi): "You guys…"

Yanno immediately jumps up from his seat to yell at Mugi. This time I blocked most of the sound with my aura and intervened before they started fighting. Though I am curious about what kind of demon Kasamugi is, now ain't the right time, to be honest.

(Rin): "Anyway, what's our club activity about? It can't be just a sleepover at the clubroom, is it? Or are we gonna watch a movie today?"

(Kasamugi): "Nope. Well not for today at least."

That's good, if the club activity was just this, then I think I'd just go take a nap. I can see Kuro doing the same on the other side of the room on one of the bean bags. Luckily that wasn't the case.

(Kasamugi): "Today we'll be learning a new skill! We're trying out instruments for Sae's Charity!"

Kasamugi says that whilst jumping back on the pedestal with a somersault. Damn, someone likes acrobatics huh. How have those headphones not fallen off yet?

(Rin): "Wait, Sae's charity?"

My ears perked up when I heard this. He's running a charity on his own?

(Kasamugi): "Yep, Sae's family runs a church and they're currently raising funds for children in need. I thought we could host a concert or something for them to raise money and awareness. This schools loaded with rich kids so if we can get their attention we could help out massively."

A charity huh. It's been years since I've been in one. From my memories of Rin, the last time I did one was at the monastery but it got interrupted by demons midway. It was before I knew about Demons and Exorcists but I was there fighting some of them like a reckless idiot. (A/N: This was in the official blue exorcist novel btw)

Still though, a kids charity… I wanna help them out.

(Sora): "Oooo sounds fun! What instruments should we play?"

(Naneko): "I call dibs on singing!"

(Sae): "Well obviously you're gonna sing. Who else can top a pop star?"

Whilst I was busy recalling the past from both my lives, the other club members started getting enthusiastic about our activities. I got a better chance to look at Sae who still has his eyepatch on with a Tokyo Ghoul t-shirt and black bottoms. When we made eye contact, he gave me a wry smile with an expression saying 'please don't ask me about it'. I nodded with a smile wondering if Kasamugi was the reason for this.

Poor Kaneki look-alike, he must have it rough when he meets the weebs.

(Kasamugi): "We should write music role on a piece of paper before having the person pick one out. If you don't want to perform then that's fine but participation in club activities is still required!"

Mugi says that whilst pulling a baseball cap out of nowhere with a bunch of scrunched up paper note inside it. This guy already had this prepared huh.

(Rin): "Wait, where's Chelsea and Amethyst?"

I asked as I noticed the lack of certain people's presence, well I did until I noticed one of them enter the room at that moment.

(Chelsea): "You called?"

I turned around to Chelsea who just walked towards me before getting stunned by what she's wearing. What's with the onesies today? Chelsea's wearing a lion onesie whilst wearing the hoodie that has a lions mane on it with its ears. Isn't that boiling hot to wear in the summer?

(Chelsea): "Sorry it took so long."

(Rin): "That's… That's some interesting pj's you got there."

Chelsea apologises as I wryly smile at her appearance. How do you even sleep in that?

(Chelsea): "Lions are the kings of the jungle. Having Lions as the night guardian will ensure a good night rest and a comfortable sleep."

Hmm? Is she the superstition type of person? Didn't think my level headed senpai was like this, but the pj's still looks cute on her.

(Rin): "Hmm? Seems like the lioness is scared of the dark."

(Chelsea): "Of course not. Lions are just cute."

I teased Chelsea a little who replied with an embarrassed face. Looks like I was on the money with that one. That's cute, I wonder if she has a night light too?

(Rin): "Fair enough. Oh yeah, where's Amethyst?"

I smiled at Chelsea's reaction a little before asking where my future sister-in-law went. I've been seeing Amethyst and Yukio hanging out in my shop often while they talk about their day and interests. I feel like a nosy uncle whenever I see them talk but never go a step further. It's sorta frustrating watching it happen with slow progress, just ask him out already!

And Yukio, fuċkɨnġ notice her already! She's gone out of her way to learn how to cook for you after all! Though I have to say having me cook his food is gonna be tough to get him to love you through his stomach.

(Kasamugi): "She's busy at the gardening club to deal with some of the plants. Anyway, let's do a lucky dip for the roles!"

I could hear Shiemi's ears perk when Kasamugi mentioned the gardening club which made me chuckle a little. Looks like when she's an official student she'll join them too. Right now she has Mephisto's permission through Mugi to even be here. Soon everyone gathered one by one to pick up their fated instrument from the cap.

(Kasamugi): "Alrighty! Yanno, Rin, and Miyamoto-san got the electric guitar. Kirihime-san and Moriyama-san got the keyboard. Sora and Sae got the drums. Kamiki-san and I got the rhythm guitar. And finally, Paku-san and Chelsea will have the bass guitar. As for Amethyst, she'll get to pick whatever instrument she wants to pick."

Well, that was a mouthful. I got the electric guitar but I have no clue how to even play it. I never had the chance to play any instruments in my past life.

(Kasamugi): "Alright, we'll split up into two groups and help each other to work better, then at the end of the four weeks we'll host a mini music competition to see who'll be playing for the charity. Of course, you'll have the option to opt-out but don't expect we'll let you slack off!"

Are four weeks even enough time for us to learn a full song for a concert? Even if we're made up of Demons and Exorcists and put everything into it, it seems a little too soon.

(Kasamugi): "And finally for the kids, you little guys can pick whatever instrument you want! Who knows? You might even get to play in the concert."

(Kuro, Midori and Kage): "Yay!/Awesome!/Thank you!"

(Kasamugi): "Ok, let's split up the groups to 2 and we'll all do the same music."

Everyone seems pumped up for this event, even my kids, who are wearing their own pj's that match their hair colours except kage who's wearing blue pyjamas, were excited as I heard a whisper from one of then saying they'd be able to play anime openings. Well, everyone was happy except a certain someone.

(Naneko): "Eh? I don't get to learn an instrument?"

Naneko says in surprise as she didn't even get a chance to join us in the lucky dip. Poor catgirl looked excited for learning an instrument after all.

(Kasamugi): "Nope, you'll be in charge of looking after the kids. Kirihime did so last week."

(Naneko): "Eeeeeeeh? No fair!"

Naneko cries to my kids as they all give her head pats to calm her down. I give them a thumbs up in looking after their senior before joining the group Mugi sent me to. I got put into a group with Kirihime, Sae, Yanno, Izumo and Noriko. Looks like the cram school trio have separated for the first time now.

(Kasamugi): "Let's start!"

Kasamugi says that before clicking his fingers, making instruments magically appear out of nowhere startling all the first years. Oi, that seems like something Mephisto would do. They're not related, are they?

(Kasamugi): "May the best band win!"

I put those questions at the back of my head as Mugi takes his group to another room they rented out beforehand, leaving the 6 of us, plus the kids and Naneko, to the club room.

(Rin): "Ok, let's start this."

I say that as I got the electric guitar on and look at the others for instructions. The guitar is blue with blue flames on it, so it was a given I'd try taking that one. Honestly, I have no clue how to play an instrument, much less lead a group of fellow beginners.

(Yanno): "I got some experience with using an Acoustic. What about you guys?"

Yanno takes the lead when he noticed my look in which he says before asking. I knew I could rely on you, buddy.

(Rin): "I have none."

Clubs cost money back in my past life so I never got the chance. I used to just spend my time at the library instead.

(Sae): "I can play a bit of the drums."

(Noriko): "The two of us don't have a single bit of it."

(Izumo): "Yeah."

(Kirihime): "Likewise."

So out of the 6 of us, 2 have some experience of instruments, though one of them is for a different instrument, and the rest are complete noobs.

(Rin): "Well, I guess we can only start with the basics before heading straight into the deep end. We can probably ask Naneko for help or the others if we can't use videos to learn. Maybe even the music department for help."

I say that absentmindedly as I tried getting comfortable with holding a guitar whilst sitting down. I can't really judge if it's heavy or not since my strength as a demon fuċkėd up my common sense of heaviness. I played around with it whilst everyone else did their own things until I noticed Kirihime beside me.

(Rin): "Umm…?"

(Kirihime): *Stare*

Kirihime was standing in front of me with her face way too close to mine. We're at the distance to kiss each other but I maintain my look into her eyes even though I was a little embarrassed by the awkwardness. What's she trying to do?

(Kirihime): "...I hope we get along."

Kirihime says that after a long pause before heading towards her electric keyboard. I sighed to myself as mysterious fatigue built up on my shoulders. What just happened? Did she give me a blank look just to say that?

When I looked at her again, I could see her trying out the keyboard but for some reason, her face was way too close to it as she plays random notes. The more I look at her, the more curious I get about her. I'm not close to her and yet she still asked to go with the concert with me.

(Naneko): "Hmm, Looks like Tsuno has some interest in you."

Naneko says that when she noticed my confusion whilst having Midori sit on her shoulders with Kuro and Kage climbing on her. Seems like the kids are having fun with their Naneko sized toy. A little too much huh.

(Rin): "Like how the kids are liking you?"

I say that as I question why they're acting like troublesome kids. They seemed to understand my look before giving me cheeky smiles and jumping off of Naneko and to the pile of instruments Kasamugi left behind. Did someone feed them sweets when I wasn't looking?

(Naneko): "Haha maybe. You've probably noticed it before but she's really bad at judging distances. See? Now she's too far that her fingers can bȧrėly reach the keys."

I look at where Naneko's pointing at and see Kirihime sitting way too far away, bȧrėly reaching the keys in front of her. She already has a short height and arms to begin with, so sitting like that made it even harder for her to hit the right keys.

(Rin): "Mad…"

I had no words to describe the scene. And I didn't want to laugh in case she was insecure about it, though it looks cute. Plus her height makes her look like a kid makes the scene a little adorable.

(Naneko): "Well, she's not a bad person, just another one of the unique people in the clubroom."

(Rin): "Unique huh."

Naneko tries to justify Kirihime as just another one of a group of weirdo. I recall everyone's 'uniqueness' before remembering that a lot of the members have special problems.

(Rin): "Unique might be an understatement."

Guess that's because this is an anime world. Everyone here is different from the people from my old world. Both in terms of race and personality. They're a lot kinder.

(Naneko): "Oh, that includes everyone."

Naneko replies whilst putting her left hand on her hip and emphasises on the 'everyone' part. Jeez, I know I'm. so are you.

(Rin): "Yes yes, I get it, Miss Kitty."

I rolled my eyes in response to her lecture tone whilst sarcastically agreeing.

(Naneko): "It's Miss Neko I'll have you know!"

Naneko says one last time before we broke into laughter at our normal useless banter. Naneko soon said goodbye to look after the kids that look like they're having trouble with what instrument to play. I guess we have another use for the Pocket dimension now, though Kasamugi would flip his lid if he finds out about this cheat.

(Noriko): "Okay, let's try it again Izu-chan."

(Izumo): "Okay…"

(Noriko): "One, two, one, two, one, two…"

While I was busy looking at kids messing around with the Tambourines and Maraka's, I heard Noriko and Izumi's voice followed by the sound of quick feet in a rhythm.

(Rin): "Hmm? You can dance?"

I said in surprise as I looked at the two dancing. Izumo looks a little stiff from her movement but Noriko seems to have some experience. I wonder if they're self-taught?

(Izumo): "Yeah, surprising isn't it?"

(Noriko): "Nah, we can only do the basics. It's nothing amazing."

Izumo replies whilst slightly out of breath whereas Noriko seems used to it. Hmm, I wonder how well dance moves will do in a battle? Might be useful for training movement techniques to an extent.

(Rin): "Whatever you say, but I can't dance so it looks amazing to me."

I say mainly because I've never tried dancing in either of my lives. Seeing people I know who can makes me want to cheer them on and try it out myself, you know?

(Izumo): "What can you even do?"

Izumo asks me in a questioning tone. I see an annoying situation coming soon.

(Rin): "Um, cooking and fighting?"

And studying, but let's not mention that. She'd just call me boring. I need to get more useful hobbies. I doubt reading novels and watching anime would count anything.

(Izumo): "So you some kind of battle maid?"

Izumo says that in a mocking tone as I just reply to her normally.

(Rin): "If I must, I will protect my two mistresses in times of need."

I say in English whilst giving an exaggerated bow. I was doing it for the sake of joking around but Izumo's personality was starting to annoy me.

(Izumo): "Hmpf, we'll see about that. Never expected you to know English."

(Noriko): "Izu-chan…"

Noriko tried reprimanding Izumo for her attitude as I'm starting to get annoyed. I seriously need to sort out her personality else it'd be a headache later on.

(Rin): "So what are you good at other than complaining?"

I squinted my eyes as I asked that question. I know she's insecure about stuff, but I won't let her try lashing it out on me.

(Izumo): "What's that?!"

And the first thing she does is shout back. Great fun… you definitely don't sound one dimensional at all.

(Rin): "Calm your lid madam. This humble one asked a simple question for the loudmouth."

I say that unseriously as I get another reaction from her. It's too easy to annoy her.

(Izumo): "Hmpf, it's nothing you should worry about."

Haah, so you ask me a question but aren't prepared to answer the same question fired back at you. Great… I don't get paid enough for this. How do I get an annoying character to become half decent?

(Rin): "What about you Noriko? You into Dancing or Drama?"

Seeing as she won't open up by herself, I switched the conversation to Noriko which surprised her a little. Maybe I could learn some dance moves from her? Looks fun regardless of its uses in battle.

(Noriko): "Oh, yeah. I like searching up some amateur dancers and stuff like that whenever I can't sleep."

So like me, who watches anime or reads manga at night. I caught Kuro and Midori doing the same thing a few days ago, guess they got that one from me, huh.

(Rin): "Oh? You interested in becoming a dancer?"

(Noriko): "A dancer? I'm not sure, to be honest."

I asked in interest if she had any big goals like that. Even though Noriko's beauty isn't high compared to Izumo's, Shiemi's or the other club members, she's still a good looking girl who I find cute. I don't have any big goal like everyone else has or a plan on what career I want after all. Well, ȧssuming peace still exists in the future.

(Naneko): "Wow, if you aim to become a dancer, that means we could work together."

Naneko says that out of nowhere which startles the two girls a little before she wrapped her arms around Noriko's arm. I guess they're closer than I thought they were.

(Noriko): "Work together?"

(Naneko): "Yeah, we could both dance and sing! We could make a duet!"

Noriko tilted her head to the question before Naneko let go of one of her arms and pointed it towards the ceiling to declare her new goal. If Kasamugi was here I'm he'd have a whole stage ready for Naneko to say that.

(Rin): "I'm surprised you didn't ask Akane for that."

I asked in curiosity about Naneko's sudden burst of enthusiasm. Wish she showed this when she's training or playing sports with us. I guess only music makes her like this.

(Naneko): "Trust me, I'd love to but she'd be too scared. Remember she has Androphobia?"

Naneko responds with a little annoyance in her voice. Seems like they can't do a lot of things without worrying about Akane's fears. I keep forgetting about them since she's fine with me and my kids.

(Rin): "Sorry, it keeps slipping out of my mind."

I felt a little bad for forgetting something important. We spent the week training with each other that it's a little weird that she's good with me and my kids. Maybe it's because they're young though?

(Izumo): "Androphobia?"

(Rin): "Yeah, she's scared of guys."

Izumo tilts her head in confusion as I fill her in on the small details.

(Izumo): "Yeah I know that but I'm just surprised. She seems fine around you after all."

Izumo points out as she gives me a curious glance. Like I said I have no clue about it myself. Blame the writer of this story.

(Rin): "Maybe I'm just the protagonist of this story? But seriously, me and my kids seem to be the only exception. She only became alright with me after fighting me. Before that, she was scared of me like she was to everyone else"

Yep, really sounds like an anime plot. When in doubt, anime logic will always answer for you.

(Izumo): "You really are a battle maid."

(Rin): "Yes, the battle maid from hell."

I don't think battle maids are supposed to fight demons and humans though, I guess that makes me different from the others.

(Yanno): "Yo Rin! We're finished setting our stuff up. Wanna start practising instead of being a lazy bum!"

Yanno shouts as he grabs my attention from the girls as I see him next to our upperclassmen Sae. I guess they're done setting up the drums.

(Rin): "Whatever you say cranky pants! Well, better start practising, ciao."

I walked up towards Yanno and Sae after waving at the girls. Unlike mine, Yanno's guitar is red with red lighting all over it. The design looked cool but I had to pick the blue in my opinion. These must've cost a lot. I wonder how much money Kasamugi spent on these?

(Sae): "Thanks for helping me out with the charity."

Sae thanks me as he raises his hand for a handshake. I shook it before setting up my guitar strap.

(Rin): "No worries, I used to live in a church so I know how difficult it is to raise some money for these kinds of stuff."

Though it was the old Rins memories, I can tell how difficult it is to raise money for these kinds of things. I wish the guy was more helpful for these kinds of things, but then again he was dealing with his school life as a troubled student so it couldn't be helped.

(Sae): "You're surprisingly easier to speak to than I thought."

(Rin): "Am I? I guess we don't speak much out of everyone here huh."

Out of everyone in the club, I talk to Sae the least. We usually do our own stuff in the club so the only times we talk would be when we play games, which is rare since he knows he's bad at them so he sticks away from them.

(Sae): "Yeah, since you're always around the girls."

I was in the middle of trying out the guitar, I paused for a second at his words.

(Rin): "Oi, don't make me sound like a gigolo or a playboy."

I swear, this better not have lead to any rumours. Every once in awhile I hear people say "That's the guy who tamed the little nightmare" or something else annoying. I'm just a regular demon, leave me alone already.

(Sae): "Haha, sorry. Though I'm pretty sure if the rest of the guys didn't have girlfriends then they'd want to kill you."

(Yanno): "Yeah, you're too friendly with them, especially Miyamoto-sensei. I heard she doesn't have any male friends. You're even on a first-name basis with most of the girls without any honorifics."

The two guys smiled at me with mischievous eyes as they pick on me a little. Come on already.

(Rin): "So your saying I'm the only dude here that's single. Damn. And I don't like honorifics unless it's for joking around. Hope that doesn't annoy you if I forget."

I can't get used to saying them. I just feel lazy in that regards to be honest.

(Sae): "Don't beat yourself about it and don't worry about the honorifics. Though I can see your future will be troubled with women unless you make certain stances clear."

Sae says that with a smirk that pisses me off a little. Goddammit, these guys.

(Yanno): "Our little Rin has become a harem protagonist. Uh huh, uh huh, an occupation most weebs would foolishly want but don't see the true scariness of such a thing."

Yanno nods his head to his own words before having a wry smile on his face. Sae made eye contact with him and nodded too as if agreeing to the scariness part. What's with these guys?

(Rin): "Is that so. Maybe I am, maybe I'm not, so let's hurry and start practising. I don't think these three are happy about what you said Yanno."

I say that as I pointed Naneko, Izumi and Noriko glaring at Yanno and Sae. These loudmouths didn't even realise they were being too loud about it. The only one that doesn't seem fazed about it is Kirihime, but for some reason, she's standing close to me again.

(Yanno): "Ahahah… Let's get started!"

Yanno smiled awkwardly as he tried changing the subject. Sae remained silent and pretended he didn't see a thing, making Yanno lose his only ally.

(Rin): "Yeah yeah."

I agreed with his words as we finally got ready to learn how to play. This should be fun.
