(Mephisto): "Why good morning Rin."

(Rin): "Morning old man."

It's been a few days since the pyjama activity we had at the clubroom. I've been relatively busy dealing with my hobbies in the last few days along with my studies and training but it's been manageable so far. I got called here by Mephisto last night because he wanted a talk in person. What's this guy up to now?

(Mephisto): "Still calling me an old man, I see."

Mephisto says with a hurt expression as he uses a cloth to wipe some invisible tears. This guy likes his acts. Though they're really shit ones.

(Rin): "Yep, you're like a creepy uncle that wants to know what their nephew is doing."

Though I have no clue what it's like to have an uncle, I never met mine, but I can only imagine that being the case from watching animes and some shows.

(Mephisto): "Why that's absurd. I only wanted to inform you that your children will be starting school from today onwards."

Mephisto said as he folds up the napkin before making it disappear with a snap. That seems kinda unnecessary.

(Rin): "Hmm? Even though their school is suspected to hold Demons and the likes?"

I asked while crossing my arms. The timing doesn't feel right. Usually, you wouldn't send kids to a school that you have a bad feeling about or is a bad area, much less when you suspect it of housing terrorists or demons.

(Rin): "So you're planning on using them for investigating the school from the inside, aren't you?"

I'm a little annoyed that he plans to use my kids but I can't keep being overprotective of them. They're also demons so they can fend for themselves and if they are in danger, I can teleport to them or vice versa. But I guess my lack of a good parent figure is the reason for this, huh.

(Mephisto): "Yes, they're already more capable than the average famili-"

(Rin): "They're my kids."

I say in a dark tone as I got a little pissed. I already hate it when the club members call them familiars by accident, so I won't let someone like Mephisto get away with it.

(Mephisto): "Yes yes, they're more capable than your average household children. If they work together fighting, a high-level Demon won't pose to be too difficult for them."

Mephisto quickly corrects himself with an attitude saying he made a little mistake. It annoyed me a little bit, but not enough for me to hit him. Not yet at least.

(Rin): "Fine, I'll inform them that they'll start school today. But you'll be in charge of transporting them."

I weighed his words a little before accepting it. Looks like he's aware of the kids' improvements. Damn sneaky bastard.

(Mephisto): "Of course! I wouldn't want anything to happen to these precious children of yours." .

I kept on getting a weird feeling whenever he talked about my kids. I can't tell if that's my parents' instincts to protect them from this creep or because he's a bad guardian in general.

(Rin): "Whatever, just remember if you see my kids as tools again, I'll make you regret it somehow."

I say that with a glare before walking out of the room. I don't like what Mephisto's planning. HE's most likely set this situation up just to see my actions. After all, I'm certain that he sees this as fun and games, which pisses me off more. I guess it's time to think of ways to mess with Mephisto.

I hate how I can't scare him either, like how I can scare humans with ease. He's still stronger than me but I could probably tie with him if I play my cards right. If I have to fight him one day, then I better start thinking of counter-measures.

Guess I'll tell the kids about their first day of school for the time being.

-The same day, Afternoon-

As soon as the final bell of the day rang, I rushed out of the classroom and headed to the schools' gate before waiting there for 30 minutes. The time felt so slow even though I have a good sense of time, showing how nervous I was.

For some reason sending them to their first day of school kept me on edge all day. I've been sending them mental messages through our link, but somehow they managed to block me! Through mental messages, how?

(Kuro, Midori and Kage): "Tou-san/father!"

I took a sigh of relief when I saw them as all the stress left my shoulders. I didn't say anything but gave them all a big bear hug before releasing them when they started tapping my arm to let go.

(Kuro): "Ouch, you trying to break our backs!?"

(Midori): "Yeah father, you need to control that brute strength of yours.

(Kage): "That was a little uncomfortable, Tou-san."

(Rin): "Ahaha, sorry about that. I've been worried about you guys all day. How was it? Did anyone bully you? Did anyone pick on you? Did you guys make any friends? They didn't outcast you guys, did they?"

(Kuro): "Uh… Take a breather first, dad."

(Rin): "Ah sorry."

I apologised before taking a deep breath. Most of the students are gone around now, but few are still around for after school activities. Good thing no one's around to see that display.

But It's not my fault for acting like that. I had to know if they were being picked on or not.

(Midori): "School's fun. I made friends with a group of kids that like games and anime."

(Kage): "I have made a few female friends though some of them are not trustworthy and seem to have ulterior motives."

After I calmed myself down a little, I reflected on my sudden behaviour before listening to Midori and Kage. Strange, I've never seen myself so nervous. And what's this about ulterior motives? You guys are in 6th grade

(Rin): "I'm sure you'll make some more trustworthy friends. If they aren't trustworthy now, they can still become better in the future."

I gave both of them ahead pat to congratulate them on making friends. They grow up so quick, even though it really hasn't been that long.

(Rin): "But tell me if any boys go after you."

I can't let my innocent daughter get corrupted by those boys. Never. Boys that age always mess around with school and girls. They're demons.

(Kuro): "You overprotective gorilla father, leave your daughter alone if she has a love life. You can trust her with that at least?"

Kuro jumped onto my shoulders before sitting down on them and giving me a small head chop. I can trust her… I just don't want to see my princess grow up so soon…

(Rin): "I guess you got that sharp mouth from me huh. I do want to trust her… but I don't want to see the day my daughter leaves me for another man…"

I tried justifying myself as I spoke in an embarrassed voice. I feel like crying thinking about my daughter leaving me in the future… And that's not including Kuro and Midori… I don't want them to get tricked by any women.

(Kage): "Why would I leave? Even if I get older and one day marry, I will continue living with Tou-san and Kaa-sans."

Kage says that whilst hugging my waist and looking at me with truthful eyes. Seeing those eyes calmed me down a little but still made me worried. Calm down Rin. Those are matters in the future, even if it's scary to see your daughter leave you...

(Rin): "Ahaha, you make it sound as if I'll be living with Akane and Naneko in the future."

I tried changing my thoughts a little by joking around about Akane and Naneko. The kids seem hellbent on making them their mothers. Even though I like both of them, I have no clue how to go after them. Akane might be easier since she has her phobia with me as the only exception but Naneko isn't unless I deal with her past. Again, another future matter I'm not sure I'm ready for.

(Kage): "If you don't, then I'll run away with my lover."

Kage drops the bomb as I feel like my life shattered. Kage! How could you!

(Rin): "Eh? Please don't!"

These kids are sneaky. How could you Kage! How could you leave your father like that! I honestly feel like crying up.

(Rin): "And the same goes for you two! Women are dangerous, don't let them ensnare you!"

Well, that's ȧssuming they don't have an interest in guys…. Oh god, I have no clue how to react if they do have that kind of interest. I'd accept it… but I don't like it...

(Midori): "Father, relax a little, please."

(Kuro): "Yeah, calm your horses, dad. We're too young for that kind of stuff anyway"

Midori looks at me with tired eyes as Kuro pulls my hair to calm down a little. You guys… Age doesn't mean you guys aren't gonna get curious! There are even shotacons in the world so you two aren't safe!

Though I didn't say these thoughts out loud, they'll ask me certain questions I want to avoid.

(Rin): "Haah, sorry. I got too worked up thinking of the future. How's your day been Kuro?"

I quickly changed the subject before looking up to Kuro resting his arms on my head. We must look stupid right now.

(Kuro): "Mine's been good. I made friends from both genders unlike these two."

(Kage): "Well, unlike Midori's group that seems honest with their hobbies, your group seems the fakest. I can't stand them for that reason."

Kuro says with a proud ċhėst as he waves his tails in happiness, though, unlike him, Kage doesn't seem too happy about his so-called friends.

(Kuro): "Yeah, I could tell from their smell. I'm more curious about how long they plan to stay in contact with me or if they think they can use me to get closer to you."

Hearing this, I got a little worried about Kuro. Unlike Midori and Kage who developed their intelligence recently, Kuro's intelligence has been around for years. He's more mȧturė than he leads on, even if he was the first one to suggest being my child.

(Midori): "I'll break their skulls if they think they can get away with Kage."

(Rin): "Good job Midori. I put you in charge of protecting Kage and your future siblings."

Midori said that whilst cracking his knuckles whilst I gave him a thumbs up in approval. Make sure to tell me if you need help hiding the bodies.

(Kuro): "Calm down, you yandere father. And Midori, go easy on the humans. They're just little kids."

Kuro says with a tired voice as he feels like he's looking at two idiots. I can't blame him though, I'm not usually like this. It's weird but it's fun. Makes it feel like we're a real family and not one in name.

(Rin): "Well aren't you mȧturė. It's fine to enjoy your childhood a little more. Even if it might seem boring, making true friends will be good for you."

I said that whilst patting the guy on my shoulder. Even though he seems childlike, I still feel like there's a barrier between us. I'll make sure to break that barrier soon.

(Rin): "Plus, you could meet your fateful person or two while growing up. I wanna see plenty of grandkids after all."

While I was at it, I decided to tease this little fuċker as a bit of revenge. The amount of times they've asked me to date Akane and Naneko is staggering, not to mention the number of smiles the kids give me whenever I interact with the girls. God these guys have been giving me a lot of stress.

(Kuro): "You kid maniac."

Kuro says that whilst lightly punching me in the head with a red face. Haha bitch, not fun on the other side, is it? Too bad my fun didn't last long from what the other two had to say.

(Midori and Kage): "How are children made?"

My brain momentarily shuts down from their question as I paused. Fuck, I've done it again. How do I escape from this one…?

(Kuro): "Oh yeah, how are they made?"

Kuro chimes in too, only now realising he doesn't know. How sheltered of a cat were you at your old temple!?

(Kage): "I remember being in darkness for a long time before I met Tou-san."

(Midori): "I don't remember much other than me confronting father when I was a mindless Goblin. Strange, how are children made?

The kids started questioning how they and other kids were made as I just look at them with no idea on how to respond. Midori's the smartest one out of the kids followed by Kuro, and Kage's the most curious out of the three. Quick, change the subject before they get their answers from google-san.

(Rin): "Ah, I think I hear Naneko calling me. Let's go and meet up with them."

I quickly picked Midori and kage under my arms with Kuro still sitting on my shoulders as I took them to the meeting place. We agreed prior today that we'd meet up at a cafe before going to Naneko's concert.

(Kuro): "Huh? But I can't even hear them."

(Kage): "Neither can I."

(Rin): "Onwards to the concert."

Kuro and Kage both have good hearing like me, so they quickly get suspicious of the change in topics. Fuck, these kids are too smart for their own good.

(Midori): "He avoided the question."

(Kage): "Shall we ask our Kaa-sans?"

Midori says whilst poking my face with a cheeky smile on his face. I was about to tell him to stop until Kage said something that scared me a little. These kids really are demons...

(Rin): "They won't answer it until you get to our age."

I told them that before dropping them off one by one as we entered the cafe. I got a few weird looks on my way since I was carrying 3 kids by myself, but they were only limited to housewives and teenagers chuckling at the unusual sight.

"So where are you two from?"

(Naneko): "From our house."

When we got to the cafe we immediately noticed a shitty situation going on. At one of the tables, two older guys that look like they go to college were standing at Naneko and Akane's table, probably trying to get their numbers. Akane's hiding behind Naneko's arm while Naneko was busy dealing with them. They're not even hiding their ŀust as they freely look at Naneko's body with no shame. They aren't even hiding it. Trash.

(Rin): "Sorry guys, but these two are with me. Mind fuċkɨnġ off?"

I asked the kids to sit down at another table while I go and deal with these two horny upperclassmen. From their persistency, they seem to be used to this. Again, trash.

"Huh? Buzz off kid, can't you see grown-ups are talking here."

The guy who responded had short brown hair, brown eyes, good looks and is tall but he gave off the creepy vibe and had a husky voice, probably from the amount of fags he smokes. He seems to have some good muscles, too bad they're useless for him.

"Oi kid, you can't joke around with us. We found them first. Finders keepers."

The other guy had green hair and amber eyes and glasses with the same height as the other but less athletic. He seems like a smart guy but his tone irked me a little. Finders keepers huh.

(Rin): "Listen here, you old fuċks..."

"!!!"

I released some of my aura as I put my hand on their shoulders. I could see their fear in their eyes from the unfamiliar sensation and from the pressure I applied to their collar bone that threatened to snap in half. I can't believe a cliche scene like this is happening, and it's annoying me.

(Rin): "Unless you want to be haunted with the fact you won't be able to have kids in the future, get out of my sight now."

My voice turns cold as I give these two an apathetic look. The urge to kill them is strong right now but I quickly calm myself. I've been getting these urges way too often. Somethings wrong with me lately. I didn't really become a yandere, did I?

"Get off me! You think a little punk like you can tell me what to do?"

The brown-haired guy tries shaking my hand off his shoulder but fails as I dug my nail into it his collarbone. I never realised how fragile bones are.

(Rin): "Jeez bro, you're not gonna get any numbers with a shitty attitude like that."

I say jokingly as I apply enough pressure to his collar bone to crack a little. The face he was making made me laugh a little as I saw him suppressing his urge to scream while the veins in his neck expanded like balloons. Maybe that's enough pressure.

"I th-think we should get going. S-sorry for the trouble."

The green-haired one seems to have half a brain to know when something is dangerous so he immediately retreats. So trash and a coward huh.

Once I let go of them, the green-haired guy quickly puts his arms to his right shoulder, trying to endure the pain while the other guy tries to run away. I was about to call the kids to come over but the brown-haired guy just didn't want to give up.

"Yeah, after I beat you up!"

(Rin): "Haaah, too slow."

I say that as I grab the man's punch with a tired voice. Come on, I gave you a taste of what I could do earlier and even gave you a chance to fuċk off too. Guess idiots who think with their pants can't be reasoned with.

The man looks at me in surprise and tries to break free from my grip, but with futile efforts. He tried using his free arm in hopes to punch me but similar to before I stopped it with a yawn. We had a little stare off as I gave the man a bored look while he looked like he was sweating like hell. I soon smiled at him as I used the flames in my hands to absorb the heat coming from his body. Causing the man to shiver in both fear and cold.

(Rin): "Don't say I didn't warn you."

Having the temperature suddenly cool down, as well as listening to my cold voice made the bastard finally understand the situation he's in. Well, too bad, I gave you a warning so here's the punishment. Hell's punishment.

"Aaaargh!"

I give the man a kick between his legs, crushing at least one testicle in the process, as his body gets sent flying towards his friend who somehow catches him and nearly falls over. Nice catch, you should've been in the baseball team instead of getting girls numbers.

(Rin): "Make sure you take your friends to the doctors. It's too bad his family jewels are gone. If you don't want the same thing to happen to you, get out of my sight, worm."

I say that as I grab his shoulder blade whilst absorbing his body heat. Same trick like the other guy, but this time more effective. Unlike his friend, he was easier to deal with once he realised he could lose his balls.

"Y-yes. S-sorry!"

The green hair quickly ran away with his fallen comrade over his shoulder, not caring about the eyes on the onlookers in the cafe or outside. Shit, we've made trouble at their business huh. Better deal with it.

(Rin): "Sorry for what happened earlier. Please take this to treat the other customers to the dessert menu."

I walked towards the receptionist at the counter who jolted her body when I talked to her. I gave her a smile seeing her reaction as I left the money at the counter. Guess I can't come here anytime soon. Man that sucks, this was Naneko's favourite spot.

(Rin): "Let's get going. We've made too much trouble at the cafe."

I walked towards the girls and told them we're leaving. Too bad, I wanted to have a little snack or a drink.

(Naneko): "Yeah, thanks for saving our buŧŧs there."

(Akane): "Phew, I can finally breathe again. Thank you, Rin. Nice kick, by the way"

The two thank me as they get up from their seats. Naneko pats me on the shoulder while Akane puts her hands to her ċhėst as she tries regulating her breathing. Strange, a demon scared of normal humans isn't something I've heard of.

(Rin): "You know you're weirdly huggable when you're shy, right?"

Recalling my kids' words, I tried improving the atmosphere a little as we walked out of the cafe. I thought I'd tease the suċċubus a little to help her calm down.

(Akane): "I am? Does that mean you want me to be your body pillow?"

Looks like teasing her had a different effect, but let's not waste this chance. I think Akane is just hard to tease even though I experience with men are close to nill. Doesn't make much sense, does it?

(Rin): "Oh? Don't mind me then."

I stand behind Akane as I wrap my arms around her neck. Her body isn't that tall compared to mine so I had to hunch my body a little, whilst making sure I don't accidentally grope her like a cliche harem moles- I mean, harem protagonist would do.

(Naneko): "You guys really doing that in public? You're attracting more eyes for Akane."

Naneko says that with a tired voice as I also realise the jealous stares from the other guys. Luckily they're only directed at me and not Akane.

(Akane): "I can feel that but I feel strangely relaxed like this."

Akane says that as she hides her face behind my arms. The two of us have been weird lately after she kissed my cheek when I saved Naneko. I don't know how to react to her and she seems to be thinking the same. Though her teasing to the other girls seems to have intensified for some reason.

But I did ban myself from entering a relationship for another 2 months, so stop thinking about it Rin. Deal with Amaimon first, then I can have one.

(Rin): "What? Are you jealous that Akane is my body pillow now? She's mine, kitty."

I moved Akane to the side whilst still hugging her, blocking her body from Naneko in a possessive manner which annoyed Naneko.

(Naneko): "I told you it's Neko, not Kitty! And give me back my Akane!"

Naneko responds in a similar manner, attempting to take back Akane. Too bad for her.

(Rin): "Yes yes, you've now lost your ŀȧp pillows too."

I say that as I pick up Akane from under her armpit to escape Naneko's claws. Too slow cat girl.

(Kage): "Kaa-sama can use mine if you would like."

Kage felt a little bad for Naneko for losing her pillows as she suggests using herself as one. Kage's too cute sometimes.

(Naneko): "Haha, thanks for the offer but I'd rather you sleep on my ŀȧp instead."

Naneko gives Kage a head pat as thanks for the offer. How dare you reject my daughter's ŀȧp pillow! Yeah, I have defo a problem.

(Rin): "No fair, I want one too."

I say that with fake jealousy and a sad expression to what Naneko said. It's a bit of both seriousness and unseriousness, to be honest.

(Naneko): "Aren't you a greedy bastard?"

(Rin): "Haha, what do you expect from Satan's son?"

The devil represents greed in some cultures. It's fine for me to act like that, no? Ugh, sounds like I'm justifying getting a harem. Actually yeah, that's my excuse from now on.

(Naneko): "Good question. You're weirdly normal for such a title but then again you have your overwhelming side."

I have an overwhelming side? I thought I was just a regular kid with a hidden identity.

(Rin): "Guess I'll take that as a compliment."

(Naneko): "Uh-huh, anyway, what took you so long to get here? We could've avoided that mess if you just hurried up a little."

Naneko seems to have gotten bored of our little fiasco as she changes the subject again.

(Rin): "Oh, I had to collect the kids. I was a little worried about them, you see."

I say that as I had a bad feeling coming up.

(Naneko): "Hmm, no wonder you looked anxious when you were working at your food shop. I guess you felt a little homesick instead of your kids, huh. Hey, hey, did he hug you guys with tears in his eyes when he saw you safe and sound?"

And great, I got teased for overreacting again. Let's reflect on my actions when I'm in the pocket dimension. I've become too hot-headed for my liking

(Kage): "Something similar but no."

(Midori): "Yeah, father nearly took out our spines in the process."

Kage and Midori were quick to respond as they told them about the hug. Midori even did a demonstration when as he hugged Kuro and Kage

(Kuro): "And then he started getting worried about his daughter leaving him."

(Kage): "Do not forget his warning of women."

Come on, guys! Why'd you had to tell them!? Stop baiting me out to the girls!

(Naneko): "Ohoho? Aren't you a little worry wart?"

Naneko says as she makes a smug look. That's it.

(Rin): "So you're telling me to stay calm while our daughter gets taken away by a random man and our sons are seduced? Dream on, catgirl!"

I purposefully worded that as Naneko's face blushed red. I ain't letting no random person steal my kids away from me. Over my dead body!

(Naneko): "O-oi, don't make it sound like we did the deed."

That came as a shocker. Naneko seems innocent in that regard. She probably slept through all the sėx-ed classes. I laughed at the thought

(Akane): "But having Okage leave us would be sad…"

Akane seemed a little down about the kids one day leaving us. Although it's far in the future, we can't help worrying about it. It's honestly scary thinking about it.

(Midori): "Oh, they made an agreement though."

Midori jumps in as I just let them reveal basically everything in our previous talk. They've already said so much, shoot your last bullet already!

(Akane): "They did?"

(Kuro): "If you two stay with father, then she'll even stay with us when she gets married."

I need to get revenge somehow. These kids love teasing me to an annoying extent.

(Naneko): "Even in marriage!?"

Naneko blurted that out loud as everyone in the street was looking at us like weirdos. The kids were enjoying the reactions as I felt the urge to hit them a little.

(Akane): "You have a deal."

Akane suddenly recovered from her previously sad state as she approached Kuro.

(Kuro): "Pleasure doing business, mother."

(Akane): "No problem, my son."

The two made a handshake to symbolise the agreement going through. Wait, was that an indirect proposal from her? What's even happening anymore?

(Naneko): "How do I keep getting dragged into this stuff?"

Naneko slumps her shoulders down as she questions how this happened. You technically started this all by trying to tease me.

(Rin): "How do you think I feel?"

I said that with a sigh as I looked at the kids and Akane who seemed happy. I'm glad they are, but calm down with your dėsɨrės for a mother figure for Christ's sake.

Though I can understand why they'd want one.

(Rin): "Alright, alright, let's leave the marriage stuff till later. Onto the concert!"

Hmm, that makes me sound like an irresponsible person. Oh well. The future isn't immediately now!

(Naneko): "Someones excited."

(Rin): "Obviously, it's my first time going to a festival kind of place."

I've only seen concerts and festivals in anime shows after all. It's the first time I get to go to one so of course, I'd be excited.

(Rin): "What about you guys? How are you feeling about this trip?"

I turned around to the kids and asked them about how they feel. It should be their first time too.

(Kage): "I still do not know what a concert is."

(Midori): "Same, is it tasty?"

(Kuro): "I don't think it's edible Midori."

Oh yeah, we never really informed them what it is, other than telling them we're going there because of Naneko.

(Naneko): "You're all cute, but hopeless."

Naneko says as she shakes her head with a wry smile.

(Rin): "At least we're cute."

I chimed in with my comment which caused a frown on Naneko's face.

(Naneko): "Nope, you're the opposite."

(Rin): "Oh? So if we use the beauty scale, I'd be beautiful?

(Naneko): "Heh, in your dreams, maybe. Anyway, let's head out already."

A little harsh huh. After having our usual stupid banter, we headed off to the location of the car Naneko arranged earlier. We entered the 7 seaters black cab with tinted windows at the passenger seats. Kuro claimed shotgun, meaning he got the seat next to the driver's seat, and the other two claimed the back seats, leaving me in the middle with Akane and Naneko either side of me.

The concert was located in a city next to ours, which was the main reason it took over an hour to get there. Oh, a bit of context of this world's geography, True Cross City is located in Tokyo Metropolis. Right now we're heading to Tokyo City, which is north of True Cross City for the concert. We spent the journey with idle talk and playing eye-spy with the kids.

(Naneko): "Thanks for the ride."

When we finally got off the cab, Naneko waved the driver goodbye as he gave her a simple nod.

(Rin): "Did you already pay him before we got here?"

I asked in curiosity as I thought it was a little weird. He drove us a little further away from the concert so we ended up having to go the rest of the way on foot.

(Naneko): "Nope, my manager booked the cab for us. Now let's get to the backstage!"

As soon as Naneko said that, she wore a hoodie and sunglasses as she carefully walked around. I guess she's that popular huh.

I was about to follow her but I got stopped by someone togging my shirt. I turned around to find Akane looking at me with a nervous expression, struggling to say something. I paused for a second before sighing when I realised what she wanted.

(Rin): "I think it'll be better to stay like this instead of walking behind me. It should be less awkward like this."

I grabbed Akane's hands as I walked a little forwards. Her hands are covered in bandages like she normally has them. She explained to me it's so she doesn't accidentally touch a dude and usually, they'd stay away from her if she has them on. She doesn't have them on when she was in the pocket dimension though.

(Naneko): "I swear, I look away for one second…"

I could hear Naneko grumbling under her breath when she looked at us. I could only give her a wry smile as we slowly got closer to the main area. The people started increasing as Akane got even closed to me to avoid touching anyone.

I looked over to see how the kids were, but they were fine.

(Kuro): "Don't worry, I got my siblings."

Kuro says as he notices my look. He was already holding Kage and Midori's hands when he noticed the crowd's size. He really is big brother material, good job buddy.

(Rin): "Good job, Aniki-kun."

I give him a thumbs-up as we follow Naneko to backstage where we got a tour around the place. Naneko seemed to have fun showing us around, even though she seemed bothered that I've been clinging onto Akane the whole time. It's cute seeing her bothered though.

(Naneko): "And now this is the prep room. I need to go in a minute to the dress-up room to get ready for the show. You guys better be ready for a performance of a lifetime!"

Naneko says enthusiastically as she skips to her dressing room. She seems to be in a weird mood, maybe she's just excited to have friends in the audience?

(Rin): "She really is the opposite of her appearance huh."

It's weird how she's energetic even though she looks like she's just woken up. Then again, kuro has some messy bed hair himself so I guess it's a cat thing.

(Akane): "The same could be said to most people I know."

Akane says that as she looks at me with her arm wrapped around mine. Things sorta happened when we were walking at backstage with crewmen running around here and there to make sure everything was working well. As a result, she stuck closer to me.

Though I don't mind it, but having her face this close to me is making my heart beat faster and I can hear the same with hers.

(Rin): "Yeah true. Let's head to our seats."

(Akane): "Sure, sounds good."

I suggested to sit down as we walked all the way to the seats without going through security, though the number of people here made it a little awkward to walk around. I kept on checking if the kids got separated but luckily I was just over worrying things again.

(Rin): "Damn, you telling me that's Naneko?"

After a while of sitting down in a noisy place like this, the lights suddenly turned off as the main lights lit up at the centre, revealing a black-haired girl. She had had golden eyes, neatly combed hair, a stylish black and white dress with frills and fake cat ears.

Damn, I think I just fell in love with Naneko.

(Akane): "Nano's so amazing… I think I'd die just trying to stand on the stage, much less singing on it."

Akane's still scared of guys, that's something I can relate to when I used to hate attracting other peoples attention. Now, however, I think I can get over it.

(Rin): "Everyone has their strengths and weaknesses. Let's just enjoy the moment while it lasts."

Seeing her nervous and shy is rare, but the cuteness she's showing is wonders for my eyes.

(Naneko): "Thank you, everyone, for coming out to my concert~! I made this song for a friend of mine who's among you guys. She's been with me since day one and was the main reason I took up this career. Anyway, this song is to spread the love she gave me to you wonderful fans~! I hope you enjoy~!"

Naneko gave her short speech whilst the lights were still centred at her, showing me a side of her that I didn't think I'd see. Compared to before, she doesn't give off the lazy or tired appearance.

(Rin): "See? She's even rooting for you. You're perfect how you are so you don't need to change, okay?"

I say that with a smile to cheer her up.

(Akane): "Yeah… You're right. I'm glad to have an amazing friend like Nano and the same to you Rin."

(Naneko): "Hey you. Yes, you. Look up to the sky and let's play ☆…."

I had a little trouble hearing Akane at the end as the singing started so I only gave Akane a smile and a nod before looking at Naneko giving her solo performance. Every step she took looked free without restraint and her voice was sweet like honey. The fact that such a talented person was living in the same dorm as us dawned on me, but I put that realisation to the back of my head as I listened to the rest of Naneko's singing.

The five of us stayed silent amongst the song as cheers were sung by the crowd all the way to the finale.

(Naneko): "Thanks to all you amazing people out there~! I hope I see you guys at the next concert!"

All the hardcore fans of Naneko began screaming "I love you nekohime" as Naneko says that with a cute pose. Her face had a smile I've never seen before, I once again realise she's a beautiful girl.
