My Life In Blue Exorcist

Phew. That Mephisto really drains me, I swear.

The car took another hard stop and we finally made it to the Academy. I've never been in a car before and I already don't want to be in one again.

(Rin): "Urgh"

We leave the car and enter the campus. Yukio and I haven't spoken yet. Guess he's still mad at me.

Wait, how am I and yukio gonna make up? In the manga it was because of the Goblins attacking but that was because of Rin wanting answers and being impatient to the point of endangering the class. Well I guess we can make up now or after Cram School.

(Yukio): "Nii-san apparently we can check in all our non-valuable belongings over there."

Yukio is says while smiling. This guy... He's surprisingly convincing. He looks like a normal shy highschool student but he's actually unstable with a superiority and yandere complex. Haaah, this is gonna be a headache to deal with, isn't it?

(Yukio): "Ahh, I'm getting nervous"

(Rin): "Hmm? Nervous for what?"

(Yukio): "Well, you see-"

(Announcer): "Excuse me all students of true cross academy, could you all please head your way to the auditorium room please."

Before Yukio could explain he gets interrupted by the speaker. Oh boy, I forgot this is an anime/manga world. Does that mean cliches also exist as well?

(Yukio): "well let's head our way into the Auditorium"

And as if this world has a specific place time and order for everything, Yukio doesn't finish what he was gonna say and continued walking on. Please don't make the cliches too annoying!

We headed our way to the Auditorium room. Well we just followed the crowd into a seperate building a little away from where we were dropped off.

When we got inside there was a stand where we had to check in. We were given our seats and classroom. Seat No. 413, huh.

Didn't think the School had a system like this.

Well, Yukio got seat number No. 201 which is at the very end of the row. Lucky him, he doesn't walk in front of people sitting whilst making sure my sword doesn't hit them. Wait I should probably say katana instead, right?

Well, the Assembly started soon, but I have one word for this. Boring! Wheres mephisto? Isn't he meant to give the presentation?

Meanwhile we have an old vice-principal here giving the presentation. He's an old man that looks like he about 50 something years old with the top of his head bald, wearing a normal black suit with a white top and black tie.

(Vice-principal): "First year class representative, Yukio Okumura."

I wasn't paying attention during the presentation but at some point he calls out Yukio's name and Yukio stood up. All the other kids around also started feeling drowsy but woke up when Yukio's name was mentioned.

(Male Student 1): "First year representative... That's the guy who placed top on his entrance exams, right?"

(Female Student ): "Doesn't he look kind of cool? I thought he was going to be a little plain."

(Female Student 1): "We should try talking to him later!"

And so, the Yukio fans have appeared.

The presentation was over shortly after. Finally I thought I was gonna be bored to death.

As soon as that was over we were sent to our classrooms. The school has several classes from class A to class F, with Special A above Class A. Classes A to F aren't in grade order meaning Class F isn't the worst and class A isnt the second best class. Because of that I'm in class 1-D, but if it was in grades order I would've been in class 1-F because of Rins bad grades in middle school. Actually I wouldn't even been able to make it into that class.

Guess I need to start studying school subjects along with exorcism.

The Classrooms are located in the main building which is a little further away from the Auditorium, but strangely enough I don't feel tired at all. Guess that's the benefit of being a half demon although it doesn't help me for boring Lectures.

When we got into the main building, I'm like, what the f.u.c.k?

Firstly the sheer size of the main building is ridiculous. And so is the inside, like the ceiling is so far away.

(Rin): "Did I walk into a school or a bloody castle?"

I whispered to myself as I remembered the girls here were really gossipy in the anime. Like how can I not be amazed at the sheer size of this place. Must be because they're rich kids. Must be nice.

Anyway I somehow make my way to class 1-D by following the crowd. Yukio was preoccupied with his fans after the presentation was over so I told him I'd look for my class ahead of him.

Man the anime and manga didn't do him any justice. Like the sheer amount of fans he gathered in that one speech caused both guys and girls to like him.

I guess this School idolizes the smart, huh?

When I got there I sat by a desk near the window. Man these desk are massive. They have so much room if you pull the drawers and there's three of them as well.

As I'm looking at the desk in amazement I hear something that perked my ears.

(Female student 1): "What's that guy doing?"

(Female student 2): "I don't know but he's acting weird."

Oi, I can hear you guys, you know? Actually how? They look like they're whispering so how'd I hear it? And also, excuse me for not belonging to an upper class family!

(Teacher): "Now settle down everyone."

The Teacher came before they started gossiping about me again. Really. Rich kids.

(Takashi-sensei): "My name is Takata Takashi and I'll be your Homeroom Teacher for this year. I hope you take care of me."

The Teacher looks like he's in his mid-twenties, with black hair tied into a ponytail over his left shoulder with his fringe covering his forehead, wearing a plain white shirt, black tie and black trousers. He seems to be the laid back type.

(Takashi-sensei): "Well let's introduce each other, I'm bad with names so please don't hate me if I get yours wrong"

One by one everyone introduced themselves. Since im at the middle row, it was quickly my turn.

(Rin): "N-nice to meet you all. My name is Rin Okumura. Hope we get along well."

Dammit I thought I could introduce myself casually, but I guess I was asking too much of myself. Afterall I'm not used to all these eyes staring at me.

Luckily no one comments on my tardiness this time but I'm pretty sure they're making fun of me in their heads.

(Takashi-sensei): "Alright that's everyone. Now let's all get up and explore the campus. I'm pretty sure you guys have no clue around this 'maze' for an Academy."

Takashi-sensei says as soon as the last person said their introduction. Around the school? sounds interesting.

Takashi-sensei splits us into pairs of two. I'm paired up with a guy named Yanno Yanagi, he has brown hair and green eyes, with ear cuff earrings on both ears and is slightly taller than me by, I guess 2 inches. Wearing the usual white shirt that's untucked, black pants, black tie with red and white stripes and a black jacket that's unbuttoned.

(Rin): "Nice to meet you. My names Rin Okumura."

(Yanno): "Nice to meet you too, my names Yanno Yanagi. Call me Yanno."

(Rin): "Likewise, Call me Rin."

(Yanno): "You're surprisingly friendly, aren't ya?"

(Rin): "Huh?"

Am I that scary to other people? I mean im not trying to big myself up but I think Rins quite good looking so why's everyone scared of me?

(Yukio): "Hmm... How do I say it. You have this aura around you that gives off the "speak to me and I'll kill you" kinda vibe."

Huh? You for real? Why's that? For god's sake I just want to have some friends here! Is that too much to ask for?!

This reminds me of my old world where I was scared by everyone for glaring at everyone. I mean I couldn't help it. Even now I can't help but glare when I'm looking at someone or something that interests me.

Well anyway the tour was just going to the library, the laboratory, the co-op shop, the cantine, the patio etc.

The only thing annoying about it is that this place is massive.

(Takashi-sensei): "let's call it a day for now. I forgot to do the register so lets do it when we go back to class. Then I can dismiss you guys."

Takashi-sensei noticed that everyones tired but strangely enough he doesn't seem tired. He doesn't look like the athlete type but I guess he works out, huh.

We went back to our classroom, done the register than made our separate ways. I said goodbye to Yanno, who sits behind me, and went out to look for Mephisto.

He should've picked up Rin right about now in the anime. Since I don't know how much the world is different I don't know how long I'll have to wait.

(Dog): "Woof."

(Rin): "A dog?"

(Dog): "Woof, woof."

(Rin): "Want me to follow you?"

(Dog): "Woof."

Out of nowhere a small fluffy dog with a large pink ribbon around his neck with a silver trinket attached to it.

This guy... Does he have the power to read my mind? He always seems to conveniently show up whenever I think of him.

Right now I'm following Mephisto in his dog form. If i remember correctly he's able to transform into other creatures as well. I wonder if he can transform into a dinosaur? What's the dogs species again?

...

...

Well whatever I'll know once I get access to the internet or if I just ask Mephisto himself.

After some time we finally leave finally campus and away from other people's eyes. The d.o.g.g.y jumped onto a short street lamp and then poof Mephisto appeared.

(Mephisto): "Pardon me. But I can't go wandering around the campus without a reason."

(Rin): "Nice transformation."

(Mephisto): "Why, thank you~."

Mephisto then threw something at me. A key.

(Rin): "Hey, that would've hit my face! And what's this?"

(mephisto): "The key to your Cram School."

(Rin) "Cram School?"

(Mephisto): "An Exorcist Cram school. You will begin as a page, learning the arts of Exorcism. Your lessons in the School proper do not begin until the day after tomorrow, but your Exorcist School starts today. I will show you."

And yet another long dialogue when I only asked one question.

(Mephisto): "However I must give you one warning! Your identity as the son of Satan is to be kept absolutely secret. Now, it would seem that you are keeping your tail nice and hidden already, but whilst your ears, teeth and tail can be explained away, those flames are a no-no."

(Rin): "Cool, I'll do my best. But before that."

I untucked my shirt and let my tail out

(Rin): "Ahh much better."

(Mephisto): "Wha?"

(Rin): "What? You said It's cool as long my flames are under control, right?"

Plus it's more comfortable like this. When we were walking, I bumped into this guy and he hit me at the tail. Although it was an accident, I didn't like the pain I felt from that. It felt worse than being punched in the gut.

(Mephisto): "Yes I did say that. Well whatever as long as you're on your good behaviour you can do what you want. But to tell you the truth, I am still a little concerned, so I will keeping a personal watch over you in the session. Eins! Zwei! Drei!"

And poof he's back to his dog mode again. Well better get this show on the road, shouldn't i?
