My Life Jumping Worlds

Chapter 43 - Airship Shenanigans.

Seeing as we don't need to sleep, we decide to wander the airship, as such, we overhear the chairman giving Gon and Killua a short introduction and asking them to play a game where if they catch a ball held by him, he will give them their hunter license without having them continue the exam. I know they will fail this, but this is my chance.

"Hey old man," Yusuke shouts, as we turn the corner, "We couldn't help but overhear you. I hope you don't mind, but could we have the same opportunity?" I gin, all of us using an application of Ten Zetsu and In, that will make us look like people that have not unlocked Nen yet.

He grins, saying "The more the merrier."

Rem just points at him and shouts, "You just activated our trap card!" I grin, and nod at the others, we release our concealment and he is able to see that we do in-fact have Nen, and not a small amount of it.

His eyes narrow, he begins to try to object, but then I grin, flipping a recording device in my hand, "No, going back on your words now, old man. Don't worry, we won't hit you too hard." Yusuke grins savagely, while Keiko just rolls her eyes.

Rem then does finger guns at Netero, as we walk past him never breaking eye contact, as I say, "Better luck next time, old man." Rem turning around to follow us.

I overhear Killua say, "What the hell was that about?" to which Netero responds, "Overconfident youths."

After Gon and Killua are defeated handily by the old man, it becomes our turn. Killua leaves from the room, completely exhausted and angry. Gon, just sleeping unconscious in the corner of the room.

Netero sighs, "Show me your Ren and I'll decide if you are Pro-Hunter material."

I grin, and step forward. I release my Ren, at 1.1% strength, showing that it is 77% of his maximum strength. Rem, then shows him .75 percent strength, Keiko at .72% strength and Yusuke at .65% strength. Since all our power is equal, it would be strange if we all had the same amount of Nen power. Staggering it like this is more likely. We decided about who would be the strongest and weakest by drawing straws earlier.

----

"I will give you your licenses after the exam as exceptions. You truly are strong." I nod, and ask, "Why don't you ask why we want to become hunters?"

He then smiles strangely. "It doesn't matter. Strength is the only thing that truly matters to me."

-----

We watch as the events of Zevil island take place, everyone important gets through, and we are left with Gon, Killua, Kurapika, and Leorio, along with Illumi disguised as Gitturakur and Hisoka arrive, Pokkle, and Bodoro, we then get that ninja dude, Hanzo.

Now, I'm going to make sure that Killua gets his license even if he is forced to go home by Illumi.

---

Everyone re-boards the airship, preparing for the final Contest of the hunter exam.
