My New Isekai!

My name is Haru Evans. I'm what you might call a hikikomori, and a NEET. If you don't know what that means, to sum it up a NEET is a person who shuts themselves in from the outside world.

I know, I know. That sounds terrible, and it is. Except, I'm one of those special cases were I actually go outside instead of shutting myself

in 24/7.

Today there is a movie coming out about my favorite anime. So, I'm going to see it today, and I'm excited.

It's time now. I got ready, then headed for the theater. Once getting there and seeing the previews, it started.

The movie was good, and headed back home thinking about the scene that almost made me cry.

Then out of nowhere, a mother that was walking in the middle of the street with her daughter was about to get hit by a truck.

"Watch out!!" I yelled, running towards the girls.

Once reaching the girls - carried by adrenaline, I pushed them out of the way. Then, I got slammed into by the truck.

"Hello, Haru." A girl with blue hair said to me.

"Uh...Hi?" I responded.

"So Haru, you're dead, how do you feel?"

"I...I feel kinda sad, but as long as I saved those girls, I'm fine."

"Ah...yeah, I saw that. You were a hero right there, but kinda stupid at the same time." She said, laughing.

"What? Why?" I asked.

"You could've let those two die. It's not like you've done anything good in your life. Cheating, fighting. You've done some bad stuff as a child."

"Yeah, I know. I'm not proud of what I've done, that's why I became a shut-in."

"Yeah, I know." She said, "You could've still let them die though."

"Shut up, okay!" I yelled out of frustration, "Just stop. I can't let someone die in front of my eyes."

She sat there, in her own chair.

"Look, it's ok. You saved them, so I'm giving you a chance. You are going to be going into a new world to reset yourself."

I looked up at her, "What do you mean?"

Once I got done saying this, she reached into her skirt and pulled out a paper. She then explained to me that I'd be going to another world, and I could take any one thing with me.

"Wow!" I shouted in surprised.

"Yeah, I know! Now you may choose any ability or item to choose and bring with you!" She said, while scattering papers all over the dark floor.

While looking through the options, I saw one that caught my eye, it was called "Cursed Magic."

"Cursed Magic." I said out loud.

"Oh yeah, it's extremely amazing, but it puts a curse on whoever uses it. Mostly for a day or two," She responded.

"Ah, I'll take it then!" I said, lifting up the paper.

"Okay." She said, lifting her hand in the air, "Don't move."

A colorful circle appeared. Then, all of a sudden, I was getting s.u.c.k.e.d up!

"Hey! What's happening?!" I shouted, scared.

"Oh, it's teleporting you to the world. Just stay still."

I complied, and got s.u.c.k.e.d down into the circle.

Once entering the world, I realized I had nothing! The only thing I had on me were the clothes on my back, and the magic I chose.
