My New Isekai!

Since this looks like a game world, all I have to do is find the Guild. That on its own was harder than you imagine it would be, but anyway, I found it in the long run and headed inside.

I headed for the main desk, or whatever you call it.

"Hey, is this where I can become an adventurer?" I asked a lady with blonde hair.

"Yes it is." She responded, "If you're here to become an adventurer, please give the registration fee."

"Wait...there's a fee?"

"Yeah, why wouldn't there be?"

"I don't have anything on me."

"Oh, I'm sorry...looks like you will have to come here another time when you actually get the Eris."

I shaked my head slowly, then went to sit at a table. A man with a robe over him came to sit on the opposite side of me.

"You're new here, right?" The man asked.

"Yeah..." I responded, ready to be made fun of.

"Here, I'll give you some Eris since you looked as if you had none." The man said, getting a bag of coins out.

"Thank you, sir!" I said, absolutely grateful.

"No problem kid." He said, walking away.

I checked to see how much money was in the bag. I counted at least twenty Eris. The man gave me that much?! I'll be thankful even though it's not much though.

Anyways, I went back to the lady.

"How much do I need to become an adventurer?"

"About ten Eris." She responded.

I reached into the bag and handed her the Eris.

"Please, lend me your hand for a second."

I complied, and gave her my hand. She then put it over a weird looking object. It started to spin around, and also put my information on a card? Once it finished, the lady read out my stats.

"Strength: C, Intelligence: A, Luck: S+, Magic: D, Wisdom: D, and Persuasion: D!" She said, reading my stats out-loud, "If it wasn't for your strength, wisdom, magic, and persuasion you'd be able to pick anything. You'll only have two options: Merchant, or Adventurer."

I looked down in frustration, "I'll be an adventurer..."

"Okay." She said, putting that into my card, "Since you're level 1, you'll be able to level up faster."

"Thank you!" I said, ready to leave and look for quests.

Once we were done chatting, I headed for the quest board. I wasn't no genius when it came to this world, but I could tell the skulls on the bottom of the paper probably meant the difficulty.

I chose one that looked easy, "Kill 3 Giant Toads. Reward: 20 Eris a toad."

After killing all the necessary toads I promised to myself to never do that again.

After taking a bath, I went to a stable area to sleep. Before heading to sleep I vowed to myself; test out my magic power tomorrow! Then, I passed out from exhaustion.

After waking up, I got ready, and went to an open field a fair amount of miles away from the town.

I raised my hand, ready to fire my magic. Then, shouted, "Cursed Magic!!"

Nothing happened though, so I yelled it again, and again, and again. That was a mistake.

Because of the acc.u.mulated amounts of times I did the magic, there was a huge black spot on the ground. It was black all around me. Soon enough, the black stuff was heading towards me, slowly.

I ran away, but it caught up to me faster. The last thing I remember before passing out was a girl picking me up and shouting.

Next thing I knew, I woke up in a room, one that I've never seen before. I looked around to try and see something familiar, but saw a girl looking down apon me. I almost screamed aloud, but held it in. How did I get here?

Anyways, while sitting there. She spoke up, "Good morning! I'm sorry to bring you to my house, but you passed out right in front of me so I brought you here." She said, obviously still worried about me.

"It's fine, I appreciate the help!" I said, while giving a smile.

Her face turned red after that, "We should go downstairs and eat."

"Yeah, let's go." I said, slowly getting up.

We both headed downstairs and I saw her parents; a women with black hair, and red eyes, and a man with brownish hair, and green eyes.

"Good morning, mom and dad!" The girl who slept beside me shouted.

"Good morning, Kura." The mom and dad responded.

"This is...wait, what's your name?"

"Oh yeah, it's Haru Evans."

"My name is Kura Kazuma. My dad over there is Satou Kazuma, and my mom is named Megumin Kazuma." She said, introducing me.

"Nice to meet you both," bowing my head in front of them.

"Nice to meet you too, Haru." They said.

I soon thanked them for letting me stay over last night and they were happy to help someone in need.

"Hey, you look like an awfully new adventurer, am I right?" Satou said.

"Yes, I am." I responded almost immediately after he said that.

"Well, since I used to be like you, why don't you stay with us? We got enough rooms to keep you." He said, generously.

"Really?!"

"Yeah, we don't mind. Also, Kura need friends...she doesn't have many."

"I'll be her friend, I mean, she did take me in after I fainted."

"Ah..now that's the spirit!" He said, waving around a cup of beer.

I looked over at Kura, "Thank you for helping me when I passed out, it means a lot to me!"

She blushed again, "A...anytime!"

This is going to be one of those dramatic rom-coms is it? God...that's really chiché.
