My New Isekai!

Chapter 19 - Unexpected Happening

"We really should head back soon though," I said.

"Yeah," Kura responded quickly.

"Well, let's go then," Polly exclaimed.

I agreed, reluctantly. Then, we slowly headed towards a place that we can get a ride home.

As soon as we booked a wagon to head back home, I remembered something.

"Hey, I'll be right back," I said, running towards the inn that Kura and I stayed in.

"Okay, don't be late," Kura said.

"I won't," I exclaimed.

I turned around back in the direction I was going, but ran into a girl carrying a crate of apples around.

"Ow," the girl said.

"Oh, I'm sorry," I exclaimed, reaching my hand out towards her. "Here grab on."

She did, "Thank you. If you wouldn't mind, could you please help me pick all this up," she asked.

"Yeah, I don't mind," I said, bending over to pick up the apples.

She did the same thing. As soon as we were done she thanked me.

Something was missing though, I checked my pockets, and found nothing. No coin pouch.

"That little mother fu–," I said, stopping myself.

Maybe I gave my stuff to Kura? Yeah, hopefully that's the reason why I didn't have my stuff.

I ignored it, hoping to God that Kura had my coin pouch. Then, I continued running to the place.

I opened the slide door that connected the hallway and the room we stayed in.

"Where is it," I mumbled to myself.

"Where is what," a girl mumbled from behind me.

I turned around. I wasn't ready for those three words.

It was a red head girl, she was pretty (busty), and the clothes she wore were not making her physically any better to my v.i.r.g.i.n eyes.

"Um...," I rambled, totally mesmerized by her physique.

She seems to notice to where I was looking, and covered her b.r.e.a.s.ts, "I...I don't like you staring there...," she stated.

I got knocked out of my trans, "I'm sorry," I said. "I didn't realize I was looking."

"It's fine...I guess," she said in a form of a question.

"Okay, well, why are you in here," I asked.

"Oh, it's no reason," she said. "I just saw you come in here as if in a hurry. So, I thought I could help."

I jumped in glee. This girl is an absolute angel.

"Thank you," I exclaimed.

"No problem," she said back.

We both searched, and searched. We couldn't find what I was looking for.

"I'm sorry," she said. "We couldn't find your thing."

"It's fine," I said. "I'm okay without it."

I tried to keep cool, but when she left I felt a huge amounts of guilt.

The thing I was searching for was a necklace my mother originally gave me for my fifth birthday. I held it dear to my heart but never showed it to anybody.

Well, I guess we loss things close to us. So, I guess I'll suck it up. No matter what though, I still felt sad about it. I slouched my head down for the whole walk over to the wagon.
