My New Isekai!

Kura and I were having a good chat while walking back to the house. It was something about the giant toads. I swear, when she said the words "Giant Toads," I felt a shiver go down my back and into my toes. All of a sudden I took a halt, and I stopped her from walking.

"What's going on?" She asked, kinda worried.

"My Enemy Detection skill went off," I said in a whisper.

Her eyes widened, she held her hand over her mouth just in case her breathing was to loud.

I whispered a question to her suddenly, "You know how to fight?"

She uncovered her hand, "No. Dad never taught me how to fight, all I know is Crimson Magic. Which is only advanced magic," She whispered.

"Well...damn," I muttered to myself. "We're kinda screwed unless we get lucky."

She stared down in silence, probably hoping for these monsters to go away. Then all of a sudden, she stood up, forcing me off her.

"Ok, so when I blast the magic, you go pick up my body and run off to the house. Got it?"

Confused I asked, "What do you mean?"

"I'm gonna blast an explosion, after I do, I'm gonna be drained of mana. So, you grab my body, put me on your back, and run like absolute hell." She said, clearly planning this as she was talking.

"Okay I guess. Don't get killed," I said lifting my fist.

"I won't," she responded with extreme confidence.

I watched as she was walking out towards the monsters. Quickly, she raised her hand and started to chant something. Then the last thing I heard before a big boom was, "Explosion!!!!!!!"

The shock from the blast left me completely unable to move. Laying on the ground, I remembered I had to get her. Getting up was miserable, my arms were so worn over doing nothing but landing on them. Soon enough though, I got up and ran towards Kura, quickly picking her up, and also running off as quick as possible.

Soon enough we made it to the house. Satou and Megumin were waiting at the front door for our return. Once they saw us, they ran up.

"What happened!?" They asked.

"Well," I started. "She fired an explosion and now she's like this."

Once saying this Kura lifted up her hand giving a thumbs up.

"I'm not surprised - mother like daughter." Satou said, "Kura, don't do that in close quarters anymore, okay?"

"Okay dad..." She said, deflated in her mood.

"You two go back inside, we're gonna have a little fun. Haru, we need to get you some new clothes." Satou said with an extraordinary huge smile.

"Yes, indeed!" I quickly came back.

As soon as we got done with that short conversation we both ran off to the city, both having each of our legs going up to our c.h.e.s.t singing, "New clothes!"
