My New Isekai!

"Since I woke up not that long ago, what are we gonna do?" I said facing towards Kura. 

"How should I know…? This is my first time coming here." 

Kazuma jumped in, "How about some gambling?!" he said with a smirk on his face. 

"Oh no…" I mumbled to myself. 

"Oh yes! I want the people in this town to know that I'm back round two!"

"Round two, you say." Kura said rolling her eyes. 

"Well, Haru, let's go!" Kazuma said already walking out the door.

"Okay, but teach me how to gamble." I said running up behind him, slowly pacing my steps to his. 

Kura, dumbfounded by what just happened, stood there in the middle of the floor. She soon ran up behind Kazuma and I, and just followed us towards the casino.  

"Hey, dad. Do you have the slightest clue on where mom is...?"

"Um…yeah?" Kazuma said with a nervous smile.

"Great." Kura said, sounding annoyed. 

"Don't worry, though. We'll find her soon! She knows I'm going to gamble...hopefully."

Kura didn't sound pleased by this, but still gave a gentle smile. "We better find her soon."

"Yep, yep. I think we will find her soon, don't worryyyy…!"

"Okay, if we find out something happened to her, imma hit you, dad, and you too, Haru!" 

"Why me?!" 

"I don't know. You usually agree with him, so, why not?"

"And this after we had such a heartfelt moment…!" I mumbled to myself. 

"What was that, Haru?" Kazuma said through my thoughts. 

"Nothing!!" I spurted out randomly.

"Wow. Someone seems...suspicious." Kazuma said as he was looking at my face. "You know I have the skill 'Lipreading' right?" 

"Uh...no…?" 

"Mhm. So why'd you cover your mouth while you said that?" Kazuma said, pestering me.

"I just don't want anyone to hear what I said; that's all there is to it!"

"Wow! You keep getting more and more weird, and suspicious." 

Before Kazuma could pester me any further, Kura stepped in. "Hey, we should hurry up!!"

"You're right!" Kazuma said running ahead of both of us. 

Kura and I followed shortly behind him. 

Once making it to what seemed to be a crowded place, Kazuma went in first, Kura went in second, and I went in last. 

"Wow…!" I said in surprise. 

"I know! There's a ton of people, right?"

""Yeah!"" Kura and I said. 

Kazuma went up to a table with a green top, and with some red and black stripes in the middle of it forming a circle. 

"I'm back into business!!"

"You seem way too happy to be doing this." I said raising an eyebrow. 

"Well, I did earn a ton of money doing this…!"

I gave a shrug, "Have fun, I wanna watch you before I do anything." 

Kazuma gave a nod, and went up to the table. For some reason, though, people looked afraid of him. People let out gasps and such, and I suspected nothing of it, until one person said. 

"Weren't you that guy that got thrown in jail with his party?"

Kura and I both spit out some water we were drinking at that moment. We both ran up to Kazuma. ""What did he say exactly?!"" 

"Um…" Kazuma said putting his arm on the back of his head. "When Megumin, Darkness, Aqua, and I came here to escort my dear little sister, we kinda, y'know, got detained and thrown in jail…?"

"Why did you say that in the form of a question?" I asked. 

"To be honest, I have no clue." Kazuma said with a grin over his face. 

Kura and I looked at each other like we were talking to a maniac. Suddenly, Kura grabbed my shoulder and leaned me next to her mouth. 

"I think my dad's gonna get arrested again, you think so?" she whispered to me.

I shook my head "no" and said, "As long as he's gambling, I think he should be f-" 

I got cut off by the crying of a girl. Kura and I looked in the direction of the crying and there he was, Kazuma gambling. 

Kazuma kept going on and on basically bullying this poor girl. 

We stood there, dumbfounded by Kazuma's switch. Noted: don't let Kazuma gamble.
