My New Isekai!

Chapter 64 - This Adventurer is too Used to the Way of The World

"Haru Evans, that is you, correct?" an unfamiliar voice said to me the day after the festival.

"Yes, I am Haru." I said, not knowing what was to come.

"I need you to follow me."

The person took me to a shady alley and pulled out a knife.

"Woah, woah," I stated. "I kinda want to live at the moment."

"Aren't you scared?"

I gave an annoyed look. "Look here, Ms. Lady-That-Pulled-A-Knife-On-A-Innocent-Man, I don't know what I did to annoy you to this level, but… I don't think killing me is the answer." I said whilst reaching out my hand for a friendly shake.

The lady soon dashed up to me as quick as light and stabbed me in the stomach. "Die," she said with a cold, hard look.

"Well, this is unexpected!" I said, coughing up a bit of blood. "Too bad you didn't plan ahead."

"What do you me—"

She got cut off by me shooting Zim at her. "Let me use your words against you… 'Die'."

Her eyes turned fully black and her veins pulled up against her skin. Black goo poured out of the girl's mouth as her lifeless corpse hit the ground.

I looked away, this is a pretty gruesome sight. "Am I getting too used to killing people…?" I questioned as I walked away.

Thankfully, because of Zim's Cursed Magic, I could easily heal slight fatal wounds (time-skips are the best).

"Master Haru." Zim called out to me.

"Yes, Zim?" I started, "Wait, when do you call me, 'Master'?!"

"Can you say 'Hell's Advocate'?" Zim said, ignoring my question.

"Why do you want me to say that?" I said with a confused look.

"Just say it, trust me." Zim said with an evil-like grin.

"How about, nahhhhhhh." I said, putting my arms behind my head and walking away from Zim.

"Why not?" Zim said, looking as if he was about to burst into tears.

" 'Cause, you're giving a grin, a grin that seems like you're planning something."

"I swear to the flaming fires of Hell that I am not plotting something."

"Now that," I started, "is the reason I can't trust ya'. 'Flaming fires of Hell,' what's that even supposed to mean?!?!"

Zim gave an annoyed look. "Say it, Haru."

"Oh? Giving your master commands?" I responded with a glare to established control.

"Yes, because who helped you with most of your battles so far?"

My face was cringeworthy after he said this, without further hesitation, I muttered, "Devil's Advocate."

Next thing I know, I feel the blood coursing through my veins, quickly rushing to my head.

Soon enough, a red-like horn came out from atop of my head, causing immense pain.
