My Secret Job: A Girl Idol!

"How long have it been" Standing on the stage Chris is recalling the last time that he had sing a song. Being the centre attention of the crowd, it brings back a familiar feeling that he had long forgotten. However, he still feels a little uncomfortable being reminded of the incident.

He grabs the mic, feeling the stare from the audience his body begin to tremor, "Focus, just remember of the old time. There is no crowd, just me and Kat dancing along to those show" Chris trying to calm himself.

Chris picture himself in the living, with a television in front of him sitting on the sofa and Kat standing in front of the television. The time where he would spend his time with Kat after school watching "Daily Star", an entertainment show portrays different idols and star sing and dance to their hit song.

As the show start Kat would always dance and sing along to the show. "How childish" is what Chris have always thought to himself but Looking at Kat trying to dance and sing along to the show, Chris was unknowingly tapping his finger to follow the rhythm of the music.

Feeling better, he begins to sing in a calm and gentle voice

"Do you still remember"

"The time we spent together"

"Your laugh, your smile"

"I wish you still here"

The song brings a relax and soothe vibe to the audience. Among the audience Rachael mesmerise by Chris singing, "I wish I could be just like her one day."

"This is weird, I thought she would be performing tonight", a man sitting beside Rachael begin to question.

"Hmm, what do you mean" Rachael asking the man

"The friend that I told you about."

"Isn't that her, the person singing on the stage"

"No, but she does look somewhat like her"

Rachael was shock and felt embarrass. she could feel turning red and turn her head down "Did I make myself a fool, oh my god this is so embarrassing"

The man sitting beside her notice her and asked "Are you alright, your face is bright red"

"Yea I am fine, probably have too much of a drink"

"Sigh, I was thinking of introducing you to her tonight, but I guess we are unlucky"

"There is always next time" Racheal replied to the man as she returns to enjoy her performance.

On the other side of the room, there is a man wearing a business suit sitting on the bar with a glass of whisky of his hand.

"What do you think about her? Does she fit the description you said" Ryan ask the man.

"She has potential" The man replies Ryan while having a last look at Chris. He finishes drink and was getting ready to leave

"You leaving this early?"

"I have to work tomorrow, it though to work in a nine to five job with a hot temper and demanding boss you know. Unlike you who sit here all night to look at girl" The man smiles helplessly

"I still work nine to five, well not nine to five but still 8 hours a day, I am just the manager not the owner"

"Anyway, you know what to do"

"Alright, I will try. But its up to Kathrine to persuade her"

"Kathrine?"

"Yea, the girl you have seen before she was supposed to perform tonight but she told me she wants to give Christine a chance. To see whether she have any potential at all."

"Now that you have mention, both of them do seem somewhat alike" The man places his attention on the stage.

"Hmm you are right, maybe they are sister? But Kathrine didn't mention anything to me"

Sorry guys about the hiatus on this project, I initially started this project to enter the competition and have a vague idea of the story. The project was stop because I need time to think about the development of the character and story. But now I am back hoping to finish what I have started at least the first arc of the story.
