My Sunshine: Glad To Find You

Rose: "Jess you are lucky, he loves you a lot."

Jess's cheeks burned red. "Who said you that he loves me? Don't talk rubbish."

Rose just laughed and sipped her pumpkin spice latte.

A few days have passed after the gathering at John's place. Today Jess and Rose met up at a cafe.

Rose: " Look how you are blushing now. So he already told you that he likes you?"

Jess: "H-How? Who told you about this?" Her mouth was O-shaped.

Rose widened her eyes. "Whoa... He already confessed to you. When were you planning to say me about it? Jess, I want my old friend back who use to share all her stories with me. I don't like the new you who doesn't even care to tell me what is going on in her life." Rose playfully made a sad face.

Jess: "It is not that I did not want to say you, I forgot about it. He confessed that he likes me when we were on our date." She casually sipped her Hot Chocolate.

Rose: "Oh okay"

"What did you again? Date?"

Jess giggled, "Yes"

Rose: "..."

Jess: "Stop looking at me like that. I was busy at work, he made me his secretary so I have double workload" Jess continued to tell her a little about her date.

Rose: "He is very good to you. You should already move on."

Jess: "Yes, I am trying to." she sighed.

Rose: "How is work going on? Is John a good boss?"

Jess: Yes, he is a very hardworking and meticulous person. He manages the company very well. As for the co-workers...."

Jess was now very comfortable around him. They often had lunch together in his lobby. Once, Jess passed him an important file after the lunch break and asked him if he had something. He replied negatively and assured her that he would have it soon, but soon the day came to an end and he didn't have anything. After noticing the same incident taking place more often, she got to know from Mr. Cox that John is very careless when it comes to taking care of himself.

The next day, Jess made sure that he had proper food, so they started having lunch together. She started putting in more effort in the lunch boxes she prepared.

No one likes that the precious gem in their boss's eyes is not you, but someone else. As a result, some of the employees started speculating the relationship between them.

"You know she is now having lunch with Boss."

"Not only eating lunch, but she also makes lunch for him."

"I wonder why he gives her special treatment "
