My Way To You

"Ahhhh!" Kasuza screamed just as he turned back into a potbelly salamander. He looked up and blushed. The man looked down and started to reach for Kasuza. With another scream Kasuza scurried away. The man snapped his fingers and another round of shadow hands caught Kasuza. "My baby brother is the cutest no matter what he looks like." The man announced happily as the hands presented Kasuza to him. 

"Um, excuse me?" Ariana spoke up after Vasu changed back into a Luma and took his rightful place in her arms. Looking smug as he did. The man turned to Ariana and glared. His cerulean green eyes reflecting his displeasure in the interruption but just as Ariana flinched the man's eyes turned wide and round. "... Eevee?" He called out cautiously.

Ariana pursed her lips and turned slightly away. "Eevee? Eevee, how can you be here?" He asked as he let go of Kasuza and started to move towards her. "I don't know what you think you know but my name is Ariana." Ariana said with a shaky but fierce tone. The man stopped in his tracks and the look on his face turned pitiful.

"... Yes, yes. I thought, since Kasuza is here... I apologize Miss Ariana. My name is Ingamar and I am the King of Darkness." King Ingamar said as he bowed slightly to Ariana however he couldn't hide the regret and sadness from his face. "Big Brother." Kasuza called out as he approached his brother and sadly held onto a small piece of Ingamar's harem pants. "Your Highness, I am sorry," Ariana started but King Ingamar smacked his cheeks with both his hands, shocking her into silence.

"Well what is done is done, we can only move forward!" King Ingamar said cheerfully just as Kasuza changed back into his human form. "Big," Kasuza started but King Ingamar ignored him and wrapped his arm around his neck and pulled Kasuza's head close to his ċhėst. "Since you're here we should celebrate with some good food!" King Ingamar announced.

"Your Highness," Ariana called out but King Ingamar turned around and moved forward, dragging Kasuza along with him. "No buts! I am going to change, maybe even have a bath with my cute baby brother. I will have someone take you to a room to freshen up." King Ingamar said as he flicked his wrist. A shimmering, royal purple cat with six eyes and three tails jumped before Ariana. Her light pink eyes stared up at her. 

"Please follow me." The cat purred. Ariana looked at her Lumas then sighed before following after the cat.

Ariana sat in front of an array of food. It was presented in a pretty manner and she was guaranteed its freshness but she couldn't bring herself to take a single bite. Ariana looked at her Lumas who seemed to be taking bites but weren't too enthusiastic to eat. She then glanced at the two brothers who were happily eating without a care in the world. 

"Your Highness," Ariana started. "Eat first then we talk." He replied with a full mouth. Ariana looked at Kasuza and pleaded with her eyes. Kasuza turned his head and avoided locking with her gaze. "I don't want to eat!" Ariana shouted as she stood up. King Ingamar swallowed what was in his mouth and stared at Ariana. 

"Eat, when you have a full stomach we can talk about everything." He said nonchalantly. "I don't believe you." Ariana said firmly. King Ingamar stood up and straightened out his clothes. He had changed out of his sleeveless, black turtle neck and harem pants and wore light grey dress pants, a white collared shirt that was only partially buŧŧoned up and a two tone, grey and navy blue suit vest.

He tied his long hair into a single braid that laid over his ċhėst.  His cerulean green eyes glared at her with disappointment as a scoff left his lips. "Fine, let's talk now but not here." King Ingamar said as he turned around and walked away.  Ariana quickly chased after him.

King Ingamar lead Ariana out of the dinning hall and down a few corridors. Ariana glanced back and saw that no one else was following them. "My brother is holding them back." King Ingamar said without looking back. Ariana pursed her lip for a second then let out a sigh. "I guess Kasuza has a lot to talk about with Davita." 

King Ingamar stopped and looked back. Ariana bȧrėly had time to stop in her tracks. She looked up and saw that his eyes flashed with something strange. "You won't ask why?" He asked with a slightly curious tone. "... No. I'm ȧssuming you spoke with your brother." Ariana replied flatly. "Of course I did but what would make you think it was about you?" He asked.

"You wouldn't want to talk privately if you didn't." Ariana replied promptly. King Ingamar let out a small laugh as he wrapped an arm around Ariana's shoulder. "You're a smart cookie!" He said happily as he urged Ariana to move forward. Ariana stayed silent as she followed his lead.

King Ingamar opened a simple door and gestured for Ariana to walk in before him. Ariana shrugged off his arm and walked in. Inside the room was not very big but it was very tall. A large desk with an even bigger window took up the entire back wall. There were two plush chair facing each other a foot in front of the desk. 

However what caught Ariana's attention were the other three walls. There were two sets of staircases that went lead to a massive library. Books covered every inch of the three wall. She stretch her neck as far as she could trying to see if she could see the ceiling. "You won't be able to see it." King Ingamar said with a small chuckle. 

"How do even get the books you want?" Ariana asked. King Ingamar's eyes rounded before he burst out laughing. "You make look like Eevee but you are very different from her!" He laughed, doubling over as he did.. Ariana furrowed her brows. "What did she ask?"
