"Hey," I said it cool for her to know my presence. "What's wrong?" should I asked if I already know the answer?

"I and Nick broke up yesterday." She started. I stay quiet though I really know why Nick dump her. But the most appropriate word is breaking up with her. "I don't know what to do." She cries with a few hiccups. "I tried everything. I just can't live without him. He still loves Adhiti, he never loves me. I was there for him all the time. Why didn't he see my effort and my love?" she swallowed hard and wiped her tears but it was changed by another tears. "Adhiti was my best friend. She was always kind to me." She started as she sipped some air. "I was so in love to Nicholas before they become together. We were childhood friends, but he always see me as a girl on his childhood and as a sister. I tried to be kind like Adhiti; I tried to be like Adhiti. But those things are just a stupid idea of me. I'll never be Adhiti that's why he break up with me."

"Why Adhiti?" I asked her. She looked at me for the very first time.

"Why Adhiti?" she asked me as if it was a joke.

"You think that it is because of Adhiti why Mr. Gregory broke up with you? Is she the one to blame everything around here?" I asked her monotonously. I stayed impassive and emotionless about it.

"She's their every reason, Catastrophe." She said it bitterly. "Adhiti, Adhiti…" she said the name all over again. "Nick's one great love. She's dead and now a girl who exactly looks very much like her appears."

"You think I'm Adhiti?" I asked her. She looked at me into my eyes.

"You are exactly look like her. But those eyes speaks different. Adhiti's eyes are kind, compassionate, and cheerful. Yours," she looks away and leans her head at the wall. "You are emotionless, fierce… I can't read you."

Read me? Does she know how to read people too? Patrick, who is a mind reader, and a telepathic person can read my mind because I show him so. Is she like Patrick?

"What's peculiar about you why you're here in Mystical Academy?" I am asking out of curiosity. I guess that it is enough for her to know that I know nothing about her. She laughs bitterly on my question as if I was joking.

"I am a daughter of a great psychic of the Kingdom of Psychē. The only granddaughter of the King."

"Hmm, that's quite a royalty." I murmur. "So you can read minds and have clairvoyance?"

"Something like that." She said it with a little smile.

She was quiet for a while and I found her smiling. I don't know why she's smiling but it looks creepy for me.

"I have best friends and they know how to comfort me."

"Adhiti and Marissa." She nods. We were quiet for a while and I cannot hold my tongue anymore. I should blurt it out since the very first. "Adhiti was your best friend, but you are in love to her boyfriend. She was gone for, two years from now… if I am not mistaken. Did you take that advantage for you to make Mr. Gregory for you?" I asked her. She seemed taken aback on my question. I don't want to apologize because I am supposed to be frank.

"Yes. Because every time I see them, I was the one taking all the pain." She said it with full of hatred. Why hatred, Eliza? I wanted to ask her that.

"Do you hate her?" I blurted again. She chuckled bitterly finding my question very funny. She pushed her head back and laugh a little.

"I hate her? Yes, I do hate her. Because, she's kind, she's appealing and everyone likes her very much. And the most thing I hate is because, she has Nick. She make Nick fall in love to her." She said it. Adhiti felt that she's been back stabbed. She's in pain. I am here to pushed back those pain and just feel so bad to her.

"You said that she's kind. Perhaps, are you feeling insecurity towards her?" I asked in my usual cool, monotonous tune.

"Insecurity?" she chuckled bitterly again. "I don't feel that." Liar. "Nick enjoys fucking me than her. Why would I feel insecurity towards her?" she knows irony too. If I was Adhiti, I could slapped her across those cheeks. "I'm sorry…" she suddenly say when she realized that she goes that far. She sniffled and sniff the air. "I hate myself."

"It's alright." I said smirking at the back of my head. "I don't understand those things. I also hope that you let go some pain by talking to me. I have to run right now." I said and stood.

"Wait!" she stopped me by holding my hand. Her hands are cold but suddenly get warm and when she looked into my eyes, her eyes flashes a different color and she really stopped like something is happening inside her head. Alright, then I will make this trick to tell her that I wasn't Adhiti. "Your hands are talented." She said with a little smile. I know what she sees. I can see it too inside my head. "At first, I thought you are Adhiti, but maybe you are just her doppelganger." I am relieved that she think it that way.

"Do you really believe on those things?" I asked out of curiosity. She nods.

"Thank you for comforting me in an unusual way." Said it with a smile. I just nod and leave. I walk around the parking lot to find my bike but unlucky it wasn't there. I have my keys with me and I have to get it.

My eyes lit up when I know where it is located. It is probably located on the gym. Nicholas will put it there for me not to go alone. I still don't know why he would be so over protective. I am not Adhiti. I found it covered with a fatigue. I pull the fatigue and sigh in defeat. It has chains.

"You think I will let you go all by yourself?" a man speaks behind me. It wasn't Nicholas but Patrick and Andrew.

"What do you want?" I asked them coldly.

"You know, if you wanted to meet someone outside the Academy, just let us be your guard." Andrew said with a crock smile.

I say, I don't have any choice but to abort my mission on sneaking outside. However, after a few hours, I found Patrick and Andrew busy on their things so I brought a tool to break the chains. I feel like a tiger being captured and locked up in a cage for years and so wild now that I am free.

I stopped on a gas station so refill my tank. Then I called Mr. Sander to meet me. He told me that he will wait on the café that he owns and where I used to go for my violin lessons. It takes two hours to get there. I parked my bike on the parking lot and familiar people are around. I put my helmet on the bike then I walk towards the café. As I enter, the bell rings for the people to acknowledge that there's another customer.

Marcus Sanders turn to the direction of the door. He smile immediately and removed the apron and walks towards me. He hugged me like I was his long lost daughter.

"C, I am so happy that we finally met." He said excitedly. I smile a little which is odd to me to smile these days. "Come, I bet you are hungry and tired."

He pulls me towards the comfortable chairs and table near the counter. He gave me the menu and I didn't peek on it. I told him the usual food that I will order. He told me to look again on the menu and he said that he got a new specialty. His smile are wide and genuine. I turn the pages of the menu and can't help to smile.

"See, it is your favorite five season fruit shake and vegetable patty burger. Do you still want the usual?" he asked.

"I think you make me change my mind." He giggles and patted my head.

"You are like a daughter to me. Since George is busy on his career I will be your guardian." He call his service man and told him to ready the food. The part timer nods and Marcus face me again. "So, how have you been? Are there bullies?"

"No. Not really." I told him. "People are odd, they thought me as Adhiti because I am so much like her."

"Really," he intertwined his fingers and propped his elbows and leans his chin over his intertwined knuckles. "Does Adhiti's family recognize you as her?"

"Yes. Also her ex-boyfriend who is now my instructor." My order didn't take long and it settled in our table. Since it is his treat I will enjoy eating it. I also bet that he made it for me.

"Is this instructor is handsome?" he asked.

"Well, they say that he was." Marcus laughs on my answer.

"You see, sweetheart, if you looked really like Adhiti, I guess that he's handsome and attractive. Also a person who is lovable."

"How could you say so?" I asked in puzzled and sipped on the shake.

"Look how beautiful you are. Every boys fall on you in first sight. You know, Jake? He still asked me if I have your number or if you change your number. But as a strict father, I didn't tell him anything about you. I don't like the boy though he seemed in love to you. He will just break your heart."

"Thanks, Dad." I said mockingly. He smiles and patted my head. "How come that you never dated anyone and have your own family. I bet that you will be a good father."

He stopped for a while and sipped on his juice. He swallowed before speaking.

"I fall in love once." He started. I looked at him attentively. "She's the most beautiful, kind, alluring and she was everything to me. Our life back then wasn't perfect because we are like Romeo and Juliet." He stop and smile tight. "I never remember anything back then."

"Wow, I never thought that your life would be like that. It is kind of interesting. So what happened now? Do you still love her?"

"Yes. I always does." He smile. "If ever we had a child, I would love him or her faithfully and eternally. I think I would be the best and great dad."

"I know you will." I told him. The bell rings and I heard heavy footsteps. I didn't dare to look on the door but Marcus glanced.

"I would like to order the specialty meal." The familiar voice of a man caught me off guard. Marcus had noticed it and he looked at the counter. I felt him walking towards us and pulls a chair. I glare at him. He smiled on Marcus and extend his hand. "I'm Nicholas Gregory." Marcus took it. "Her mentor." Marcus nods but still raising his eyebrow.

"I am Marcus Sanders. Her violin mentor since she was a child. I didn't think that she has a new mentor." Marcus looked at me like he's jealous.

"In our school every student has a mentor or adviser. It is easier for them to control their gifts and enhance it." He explained. "I am so sorry if I have to interrupt your date but, Ms. Canfield escaped the Academy without my consent."

"I'm sorry that she has to escape. Now that she's with me, you don't have to worry. She's like my daughter and her father gave me a consent to be her guardian. If it's alright, I could visit her to the academy for her not to escape anymore."

"That would be good for her." Nicholas smile in very businesslike. They talk further about my safety and about my schooling. Nicholas avoid telling him about my supernatural powers. But Marcus know about it all. He knows who I was and what I am.

"If it is alright, I wanted to bring her for shopping. I think we need a father-daughter bonding."

"Of course, but may I ask Sir, about her father. I wanted to know his location?" Nicholas asked formally.

"All I know that he is in Italy or somewhere in Europe. He doesn't actually care of calling where he is. Since Catastrophe is in a great danger, it would be good for him to be all alone." Nicholas nods on his answer.

The bell rings again and the aura of the persons come in makes me really annoying. They order their foods and sat on the table next to us. I felt Andrew's hand mess my hair and I immediately pushed it away. Marcus looked at me with a question.

"They are Adhiti's brothers." I told him. He nods and wave at them.

After Marcus and I done eating, we left those guys who are acting as my guard. Marcus took me to the repair of motors. He's the one who pick me the gorgeous motor bike as a present. We change some parts and upgraded it. While they are repair my bike, Marcus took me to the boutique to pick few clothes. He told me that I shouldn't wear other people's clothes.

"Isn't it too much?" I asked him.

"I wanted to be a father to you. George is an aspie and he can't show love and care to other people. At least someone care and love you. You are like my own daughter, Catastrophe. I am living all by myself, at least I have someone to worry and take care of." He put his arms around me and I feel secure. I really feel his fatherly love.

I found the boys roaming around too and buying few things for their own. Patrick is busy on his phone while Andrew is busy on charming other girls.

"Those two seemed love you."

"Yes, because they are Adhiti's brothers." I told him. He nods and pulls his card to pay my clothes.

"Nicholas too." He added after a few moments.

"Dad, because he's Adhiti's first love." I told him. I am used on calling him dad. George wanted me to call him father.

"Of course sweetie." He smiles like he's implying something.

"Hey, C!" Andrew calls. I and Marcus walk to their direction. "Hi, I'm Andrew and that's Patrick." Andrew said in very friendly. Marcus smiles. "I am guessing that you are Mr. Sander." Marcus chucked and nods. "Thank you for taking care of Catastrophe."

"Thank you for taking care of her too while she's in the Academy."

"No problem. She's not a burden." Andrew said with a salute. Patrick is like reading Marcus but I know he won't find any dark about him. Marcus is a good person.

"C!" someone calls. It makes me almost turn back and run because of the person who called me. He's with the slut famous girls of our school back then who used to bully me. But they can't bully me and annoy me because I show no interest on them. Jake was about to pull me a hug but Andrew and Patrick pull him away. "Hey, fuck off, dudes!" he said annoyed.

"Jake," Marcus acknowledge.

"Mr. Sander."

"It is very unpleasant saying profanity."

"I don't give a shit. I just wanted to talk to Catastrophe but these losers didn't even take off their hands off me."

"They are not losers." Marcus defended. Damn, I hate Jake. He's such a jerk.

"If you wanted something from Catastrophe, say it in front of us. Just don't touch her." Patrick said it calm and very intimidating. Jake tried to clasp their grips. Damn, my head is hurting because of this mess.

"Do you want to talk to him sweetheart?" Marcus asked me.

"Yes." I answer monotonously. "Don't ever call me again. We are done and please stop bugging me."

"C, come on." Jake pleaded like a lost puppy. "You know that I love you."

"Well, I don't love you." I said it frankly to him. They all look taken aback on my bluntness. Marcus wanted to laugh but he hold it. He never thought that I would be that rude for rejecting a guy.

"Okay!" Jake pulls his arms from the boys and pushed them. "It is your loss too."

"I am not going to regret on what I had said. You are a rude jerk."

"That's our girl." Patrick and Andrew chorus and they did their secret handshake behind Jake. Someone throw an arms around me and I was a little surprised on it.

"Besides, she belongs to someone else." I also didn't expect that Nicholas would say that. Marcus was quite surprised too.

Andrew and Patrick travel separately while I was stuck with Nicholas. My back is at the back of his truck and I wished to drive it back but they didn't agreed with it. Nicholas told me frankly that I will never see Jake ever again like he's going to take me away from everyone I know. He parked the truck at her own parking lot at the back of the gym. I removed the seat belt and was about to open the door but it is still locked. I turn to him to tell him to open the door.

But things go swiftly and his palms corner my cheeks. His lips are on mine, slowly sucking my lower lips. I wanted to moan because it turns me on. I have to wake up from his harassment and pushed him but damn he was strong and his other hand are pulling my nape for him to deepen the kiss. He's taking my breath away and I wanted to breathe but he never ever give me a chance to breath. I tried to push him again and I got a chance to grasp some air but he kiss me again and again. It was so torrid that makes my lips swollen.
