New Emperor Of Ghouls

"Shut up!" Shouted Yan Zhong Yi.-

His slumber was disturbed from the bustling activity of numerous people and monsters. His threat wasn't answered, instead the noise got louder.-

"His majesty is awake" A soldier shouted the noise as he happened to walk past the tent, Zhong Yi was sleeping in.-

Pandemonium broke out after the notification. Hurried footsteps sounded all around the little camp.-

"General Cheng, His majesty is awake!" shouted another.-

"Princess Mei, his majesty is awake!" -

"She isn't even here, you idiot!!" Rebuked a smarter soldier.-

Zhong Yi had enough of the noise. He raised from the makeshift bed under him with a groan from the wound still on his c.h.e.s.t. And walked through the unnecessarily large tent with slow steps to the entrance flap.-

He pushed it aside slowly. To see that it really was a mess outside.-

He counted more Ghouls in the camp than he remembered bringing with him at the start. However, the shouts for General cheng meant, the messenger had completed his task.-

"Your majesty, please rest. Your still injured." Cheng Jian Jun had appeared at some point and stood by Zhong YI with worry clear on his face.-

"Im fine, nothing a bit of cultivation wouldn't fix." Yan Zhong Yi hoped his reply would calm down the general beside him. "How long have I been out for?" -

"It has been a day, your majesty." answered General Cheng.-

Seeing as General Cheng calmed down. He breathed a sigh of relief. "Report in 2 hours to me, about everything. By then I should be fully healed."-

"Yes, your majesty"-

"Oh, and bring Hong Hanjing," pronounced Zhong Yi. It would be for the best if he could get to know his other subordinates.-

Zhong Yi sat cross legged in a lotus position inside the tent. He circulated his Royal sacred origin scripture slowly healed most of his wounds.

Inside his body, he could feel an outside influence was slowly influencing him to lose his rationale, if not for the fact, Ghouls already have a physique suited to combat such effects. They would probably end up like the corrupted Linthos.-

Luckily for them, that state was something they are already used to. The battle state was something others could only dream off. However, there was one glaring problem. They don't listen until all opposition is neutralised.-

Zhong Yi's cultivation had reached stage 3-3 when he left to enter the region and he could feel that he was close to breaking through.-

"Your majesty, the scouts have returned with urgent news." Wu Lin's voice interrupted Zhong Yi's cultivation.-

"Wu Lin, do you know how dangerous it is to interrupt someone when they are cultivating." Admonished Zhong Yi. "Don't do it again!"-

He wasn't angry at Wu Lin. But, such habits should be destroyed earlier on rather than later.-

No longer in the mood, Zhong Yi left the tent and went to where General Cheng and Hong Hanjing is.-

They were in a large tent, shaped like a circle with the top on a cone like shape. -

When he entered, he noticed a significant style change.-

Instead of chairs, they had pillows? On the ground and a slightly raised platform for one at the front. The whole ground was covered in a red carpet.-

Zhong Yi went to take his seat at the front and began the war session with a nod.-

To his surprise Cheng Jian Jun turned to look at Hong Hanjing.-

"Master, when I became loyal to you, my entire tribe followed my decision to become loyal to your growing empire." Hong started his piece with information that Zhong Yi already knew.-

0"In total, we had 13000 Linthos among us and more would be given to us everyday." -

He raised an eyebrow at this information, 'why were their numbers so low then?' Zhong Yi didn't voice his thoughts and continued to listen.-

"Since 30 day and night cycles, my people started to go crazy and started to attack our own. Not just our tribe as well, this strange phenomenon has been happening everywhere. Our long time allies, the eagle tribe had been completely wiped out by corrupt ones." -

The anger and helplessness in Hong's husky voice, drew pity from everyone in the room, especially Yan Zhong Yi.-

"We had to fight against our own tribesmen and corrupt beasts from other tribes, so our numbers dwindled, our territory reduced and our dens got taken from us." Tears started to fall from Hong's eyes. -

"My father died protecting our retreat to this den. It's the last one we have. We would've been finished, if not for your timely arrival to the realm when we were warned about humans entering the realm."-

"I understand why you want to leave this region. But you cannot leave yet. there are things that only you can help us with." -

Zhong Yi wanted to help him and he would if he could. The situation they were in wouldn't allow it. He Had a time limit to get the most out of this place.-

"Your majesty, the Linthos number 2500 only; 600 a.d.u.l.t males, 1000 female a.d.u.l.ts and the rest are children. They women and children took priority in the evacuations of their dens while the males stayed behind to fight." -

General Cheng spoke for the Lintho leader who was struggling to speak from the overwhelming emotions it was feeling.-

"I brought 200 ghouls with me leaving the 200 to guard the territory. The ghouls have been paired with a Lintho. While you were unconscious, we managed to draw a rough map of the region thanks to the Linthos. -

On the north side is where the humans are. They are constantly moving outwards expanding their area of activity and fighting the corrupt. Everywhere else is teeming with monsters. Some tribes may have survived but the humans are killing all monsters including non corrupt according to our ghost.-

There is also something that would require your immediate attention. We found a passage 10 km to the south with heavy human presence. We believe that it connects them to an area close to the city."-

Zhong Yi perked up at this news. He had been thinking of a way to get to the city and this just provided him a way. -

"Call captain Qi's squad and 34 other soldiers, these sessions tire me. Tell the ghouls who remain to not take out their kagune when humans are around. They look human enough. -

Zhong Yi left the tent with furrowed brows. He remembered that he would have to wear that horrible armour once more.-

"The Linthos will carry us there." Shouted Zhong Yi above all the noise. -

He sat atop a Lintho about the size of a horse, but way more faster. All the soldiers accompanying him were atop of Linthos as well. -

He sat on a saddle made from the fur of the corrupt Linthos killed earlier. Hong Hanjing was happy that his people would be put to use even if dead.-

Zhong Yi was liking the Lintho addition to the army, it made them seem more complete with a type of cavalry like this.-

The gate to the camp opened up allowing Zhong Yi to see the dimly lit up forest in front of him. -

'I have a feeling that I will be able to acquire a new armour for us' he wasn't sure what gave him this feeling but he just knew. -

"Follow his majesty" Shouted Qi Long from his position to the side of Zhong Yi. -

Zhong Yi looked at him and nodded. -

With Zhong Yi at the lead, they sprinted outside the wooden gate and within seconds disappeared into the forest, with only their faint shadows being seen by the defenders.-

"What's the plan, your majesty?" Asked Wu Lin. -

"There isn't one, we just go with whatever happens" answered Zhong Yi.-

"Why is that?"-

"Because of the lack of information, we have plus the unpredictability of the humans of this world or their original world."-

"Ahhhh, I see." Said Wu Lin, finally showing some understanding.-

"But if what happens confirms my suspicions, they should welcome us with open hands."-

The soldiers all managed to hear the conversation between the two and were also curious as to how his majesty came to that conclusion.-

But all he said to them with a bit of frustration was "We look like them. "-

At an opening to a tunnel was thousands of human players at a camp.-

"Do u think we would be able to claim one of the treasures out of the top 10." asked a red haired player.-

"We should be, the guild are planning on a large scale movement of all the players. We are one of the best guilds out there." Answered another red haired player but she was female.-

"If only we have gotten a village creation stone, we would've been able to bring soldiers in and have…" -

"Shhhh, what did mum teach us. Jian Mo Chen, We can not eye what we don't have or else your eyes will fall out," interrupted Xiao nan.. She didn't want her brother to go blind because of histone.--

"Don't worry Jian Nan Nan, they cant fall out because I have to protect you." Responded Jian Mo Chen with a serious tone.-

She would've responded, if not for the commotion that was happening at in the distance

She asked a passer by that was returning from that direction. He looked surprised and jealous? "An unknown legate has shown up"-

Jian Nan and Jian Mo Chen followed the crowd to the entrance, where her guildmates and other guilds had shown up to.-

Jian Mo Chen was a tall man at 190cm so it was easy for her to reach the front of the crowd with his help, not caring for the glares and curses she hears on the way.-

When she reached the front, her breath was taken away.-

She saw a sight, she wished she could burn it into her mind. 50 men were riding what looked like a panther hybrid, were topless.-

Each of them were eye candy. Well-defined muscles on each and everyone, plus the white hair and red eyes. -

She felt like she was in heaven and she wasn't the only one. Most of the women in the crowd swooned when those men appeared in sight.-

She watched as one of them jumped off his mount and when he landed. That's when she realised how tall each one of those specimens were.-

Jian Nan Nan could feel a warning glare on the side of her face, she knew it was her brother and didn't care. Because one of those men was approaching her.-

From the looks of it, he was the shortest out of all of them.-

"Hello, could you help us get to the city?"-
