Xiao Mohan stood there with his hands by his side. He enveloped her with his body.
“So you aren’t going to take it off?” he asked with confusion as he raised his eyebrows.

“Bang.” She slammed the door shut furiously and ran back to the room frantically. She leaned against the door and panted heavily. She thought she was going crazy.
“What a huge fright,” she muttered to herself. Her clothes were tainted with his smell.
She leaned against the door and looked out the window. The sky had already turned dark. There seemed to be a mysterious layer of shaw covering the earth. She walked in front of the floor-to-ceiling window and pushed the window open. There was a huge balcony outside.
When she stood out on the balcony, she could look out at the entire night sky. She saw faint lights shining in the dark like stars in the night.
In the study, Xiao Mohan raised his hand and touched his shirt buttons as he stood in the same spot. The smile on his face got brighter. “This lady is quite interesting.”
Actually, he was just wondering about the difference between men and women.
He had a peculiar habit. When a woman touched him, he would turn crazy. For the past 28 years, he thought women were monsters. Hence, he always kept company with men. He didn’t know that a woman’s hand felt this way. The feeling was weird but it was a little satisfying.

He bent down and picked up the book. He flipped the book open and continued flipping through it.
“This is Ah Qing’s?” He threw the book away. Then he contemplated for a moment and picked the book up again. He glanced through it casually.
Han Changqing kept telling him that he would show him the “xx Map”. Was this what he was referring to? Xiao Mohan wondered to himself. As a person who viewed time as money and money as life, he actually started to read the book.
Xiao Mohan then placed the book by the side and switched gears. He grabbed his laptop and started his next round of video conferences.
In the bedroom next door, Gu Chuyan raised her leg and looked at her injury. She went back to the room and walked into the bathroom. She let the water run for some time before climbing into the bathtub.

She cleaned herself quickly and tossed her hair. She stopped herself from thinking further.
“Splash.” She stood up and reached for the towel. Suddenly, she saw the empty rack.
There were always bathrobes and towels available in the Gu family’s bathroom. However, she didn’t understand how the Xiao family operated. When she came in, she hadn’t looked around her. Now, after scanning her surroundings, she realized that there was nothing inside.
“Where are my clothes?” She turned to look at the clothes she took off earlier. They had disappeared.
She squatted down and started contemplating. She saw a garbage bin below the spot where she placed her clothes. Had her clothes fallen into the bin?
