'Makes sense, maybe I should start Practising with rifles to get some more skills, there is a forest area an hour run away from home.'

I look at the clock and see that it's only 2 pm.

'I'll wait until tomorrow to start, the gun range is already a 45minute jog away from home in the opposite direction of where I wat to go.'

I pack up my things and start jogging home. Although my dad has been associating himself with me a lot more he still works Monday through Friday. which works well, it's a pain having to pretend to be a filial son.

running through a neibourhood there are a lot of people, I can see balloons and beer, probably someone's birthday. Continuing down the street, I hear a scream come from a house. It's not loud, I probably wouldn't hear it if I didn't have 2 pairs of ears.

Looking towards the house I activate Eagle vision. The house in front of me is empty but the one behind it appears to have 2 people inside and one of them is lying on the ground. I quickly look around to check no one is watching before running up to the house and jumping the fence.

Maneuvering my way to the side open side window, I vault inside, accidentally making too much noise a young boy, around my age, holding a butcher knife in his hands looks towards me. He has short black hair that looks like someone used hedge clippers to cut, there is blood all up his right arm stemming from the knife, I can even make out a few bruises adorned his frail body. But the thing that stands out most is his emerald eyes, filled with hatred, the will to run across the room and rip me into pieces.

as I'm thinking this he starts to move towards me, rather slowly but only 10 meters are separating us so I command Kuro to Solidify and restrain him. Kuro turns into a 2meter tall humanoid figure and reaches out for the boy but just as he is about to grab the boy he disappears from in front of Kuro and reappears in front of me.

He stabs out towards my heart and after panicking for a second I snap back into reality. Activating my quirk I dissipate aff the force coming from the knife.

The boy not expecting to have been stopped so suddenly isn't able to stop and collapses on top of me.

At this moment Kuro grabs both of the boys' arms and lifts him off of me, his body has gone completely limp, checking the pulse in his kneck I know he has just fallen unconscious.

"Sorry master" Kuro places the boy down and kneels on his right leg.

"No Kuro, I was too c.o.c.ky and overestimated myself. Hell, I didn't even have a weapon prepared or my quirk activated" I lift Kuro up and it transforms into a wolf, recently it has begun to like this form.

"Can you pass me some copper wire?" I tell Kuro and some Wire falls from his body. although I can't put anything into his space when it is solidified, Removing items is still possible.

Tying up the boys' hands and legs I walk over to the man. "thank you little boy, thank you so much for saving my life, can you please get me some bandages from the bathroom down the hall, first room on the right so I ca cover this stab wound" The mans asks rather composed.

Replying ok to the man while Reading the notification at the same time, I stand up and look around.

'Kuro, watch these two, I don't want any of them running.' I notify through thoughts.

Walking towards the bathroom there is a broken photo frame at the end of the hallway. I use Eagle Vision and see footprints on the ground leading to the room on the right, entering the room I find that it's an office and the footprints lead into the bookcase.

"This is way too suspicious," I think to myself noticing an open jewellery box on the desk with a button inside.

'What f.u.c.k.i.n.g idiot puts a secret button inside of a jewellery box?' The thought passes as the bookshelf opens showing a lagger leading downwards.

Arriving at the bottom what I see sickens me, The completion of a quest doesn't even phase me. I start circulating my natural energy hoping to subdue the want to vomit.

3 cages lined along the opposite wall, the one in the middle lay a woman's dead body, not wanting to look any longer I turn around, but that in itself hit me like a truck. A spotless silver wall lined with what can only be described as torture tools is all that can be found.

I can't hold it any longer, the stench of death and seeing the tools themselves make me hurl my lunch. "I need to get out of here, this Is sickening"

I rush up the ladder to find the bookshelf is closed, luckily there is a big red button on the wall, pressing that the bookshelf swings open.

Walking into the hallway and back into the lounge room I see the man sitting against a wall trembling.

"Hey, little boy, can you please tell this thing to leave me alone, I've just been attacked in my own home and I'm bleeding" He Commands me in the strongest voice he can muster.

Looking at his face makes me want to puck again. I look back towards the boy, now more clearly seeing cuts and read all up the back of his body. his shirts it in tatters.

I walk to the kitchen and grab the cordless home phone, dial 110 and place it near the trembling man.

"Hello this is 110, What's the emergency"

"PLEASE HELP ME THIS MAN HAS GOT ME CAP..." The man stops shouting as I order Kuro to Slice off his head in one fell swoop. the moment his body slumps down Kuro Hovers above his body and starts absorbing his shadow, 'Is that how he is meant to increase strength?'

"Sir, are you still there, keep the line running, we'll thack the phone just give us 5 minutes" the lady on the other end starts panicking realising something bad must have happened.

"Kuro, are you alright?"

"Yes, master!"

"transform yourself to be a human figure around the boy since you can't store humans and return home, try not to let anyone see you," I tell it to which it just nods and envelops the boy and dashes out the window we came in.

Activating Eagle vision I exit the house by jumping over the back fence into another house then making my way onto the street, I try to just keep jogging at the same speed I was previously.

I'm jogging home when a voice cries from the depths of my soul, 'KURO, ARE YOU ALRIGHT!' I try shouting telepathically but all I get in return is 'MAAAA.S.SSTERRRRRR!'

'Shit, shit this is bad,' activating my quirk to make myself even a little faster I sprint home, running through backyards, all my previous cautiousness was thrown out the window

My phone starts going off inside my pocket, still running I notice it's big-sis so I just put it back and keep running, I'll be home soon anyway.

Literally bursting through the front door the first thing I see is a big ball of darkness constantly morphing shapes.

"Theo! What's going on!" Big-sis shouts from across the room

"I don't know, I'll try figure something out"

I really have no idea what to do, so I first try reaching out and touching It.

"AAHHHHHH" It feels like being stabbed by a thousand knives, the shadow slowly covers my body, pain following in its' path.

by the time the shadow covers my body all I can hear are screams, not knowing if they are mine or not and the familiar ding of a notification
