One Love Betrayal, Another Bliss..

Today's the day. I checked the time on my alarm clock, its 7:30am. I went into my storeroom and took out my suitcase and started to pack my clothings. I toss my toiletries into a small bag and then put it in my suitcase. Great that means I still have forty-five minutes to get to work.

I quickly finished up my shower and went to my room with a towel around my body. I took out my u.n.d.e.r.g.a.r.m.e.n.ts and quickly wore them, then I slipped on the navy pants, and then wore a beige blouse then slipped on the matching navy jacket. I quickly put on some eyeliner and cherry lip balm. I grabbed my purse, checked my passport, closed and locked the door behind me dragging my suitcase along to work.

"Good morning, ladies!" Ruby greeted the two busy woman, Sandra typing away on her computer while Gwen checking through boss' personal matters. "Good morning, darling!" Sandra greeted back. "Morning, dear!" Greeted Gwen. She put her things in her room and went to the pantry. Sandra and Gwen were thankful and very happy with their coffee. My colleague and I have always been civil to each other.

"Goodness, this is now my favorite! We're gonna miss it for awhile." Gwen complimented. "You should also make coffee for boss too, your coffee is ten times better than those coffee in Starbucks." Ruby smiled on Sandra's appreciation. "Thank you. You're welcome to expect that everyday." She winked as she grab the file she needed.

All are busy with completing their allotted tasks. And I am doing my job really well too. I sat down and started to look the papers, my eyebrows knitted in confusion as I read them. The papers had a blue sticky note attached to it, labeled to different files that were labeled in numerals. I immediately started to sort them and put them in the boxes that were all over this room.

'Cut the lunch break.. I had continued to sort out all the files, paperworks according to their date of signing and then again by date of completions. I had to finalised sorting all also of this files before I leave office today.

Times passed fast, it's now 5:00pm in the afternoon. Our flight will be 7.45pm and we are flying to City M. "Let's go." Lucas says as he walks out from his office with small suitcase half my original size. Let me just get my suitcase." I went inside the room to get my things and followed him to the lift. As soon as we reached lobby, we walked towards the car, opening the door for me while I keep on glancing at him as I step inside with him trailing behind me.

The short trip to the airport was so silent. We have arrived at our destination, a large number of people.. busy as always at the airport. The driver help us to unload our suitcases, chatted with boss and bid us farewell. We walked and past through a tunnel, went and was greeted by an airlines officer. Mr Melvin, get his staff to assisted us with our luggages.

I g.r.o.a.n.e.d. "What are we doing. Shouldn't we need to check-in?" She thought for a second before asking. Lucas ignored her, then suddenly heard. "Starbucks. Let orders take-away." Lucas grinned mischievously. "I like that idea." She beamed. I ordered my favorite Caramel Frappuccino with cream and lots of caramel on top, and without coffee while boss ordered her chosen beverage.

"Attention passengers. We'll start boarding in 10 minutes." The speakers blare but Lucas hinted that not us. We go though another few lanes and reached Gate H. "Ohh! gosh." We were going on his private plane. We boarded and were inside the private jet on the way to City M.

'How rich could this guy be? What else does he owns apart from this jet? Even her ex-Marcus family, doesn't own a jet except for luxurious cars. She thought to herself at the window seat. She didn't how many hours she will be on the plane and decided to take a nap on the way.

Upon arrival, the branch manager, John and driver were already waiting for them in the parking lot. Lucas called the manager and found the car. It was late by the time they had reached the hotel and John helped us checked-in VVIP suites. He had booked an adjoining room for us.

Neither of them had any dinner yet. "Don't arrange any dinner for us." Lucas said to John. "We already have a reservation to meet, Mr. Ting and his wife. You can help arrange the night club for us after." Ruby was a little surprised by what he had said. Lucas noticed her puzzlement.
