One Love Betrayal, Another Bliss..

Today's Tuesday, its has been past three months since the of incident with Marcus. She glance through the window, only to see that the rain is pouring down really hard this morning and thus making the view blocked from the intensity. Her heart still hurts as deep inside still hold a little place for him. Despite everything, her only hope, that she could get over Marcus in the shortest time.

She woke up feeling refreshed. She got up and took a nice long warm shower to relax her mind. After showered, she change into something casual, a blue summer dress. She took her time getting ready as school starts at 10.00am today. Finishing everything, she carry her schoolbag strapping it on my shoulders and she begin to walk downstairs.

Getting down she received a call from Lucas. "Hello, good morning sunshine." He asked. "Hello, honey. Yeah, the meeting goes." She clear her throat to asked. He answered. "Everything's ok here. Are you not going to school today?" She was startled. "Yeah, my class starts at 10.00am. I'm going after breakfast. Mmm.. Are you...." She was cut off before she could speak further, after hearing some noises from his side. "Sunshine, I will talk to you later. I need to finalise some matters for now. Take care." He says as he hung up the call. As she entered the dining-room, breakfast were ready serve on the table by Suzy, the head maid. "Ma'am, good morning." Ruby nodded and greeted her back.

Later that day after school, she went to meet Sandra and Gwen. Lucas who was away on a business trip for two days and scheduled to be back tomorrow night. It was the usual afternoon traffic jam, so she en-route her Audi to her old favorite Jake's Bakery to get some cakes for the ladies. Another block in traffic to the bakery shop had caused her to take even longer time to reached the company. Ruby looked for a free parking lot while complaining about what had happened. It took her awhile to find a parking space.

She walked passed the reception, took the elevator to 36th floor. As soon as she arrived, she was greeted by the two ladies. "So I heard you have dated boss." Sandra asked as she followed her to the pantry. "Yeah! He asked me to be his girlfriend back then." Ruby laughed.

"It's a great. And it's about time too. I thought you were going to stay single forever." She frowned as she walked passed me. "For your information, our boss is a good choice." Gwen said laughing. She make them, her speciality coffee and ate the cakes she brought. She stayed and chats for about two hours, bid them farewell and then headed to a nearby departmental store.

Millennium Plaza was another project by Spark International Corporation. It had been functioning for four years now. Because Christmas and New Year was approaching, its was quite crowded as many people had started their shopping spree.

If she's going to return to her parent's home, she would need to prepare some gifts too. Coincidentally, she also need to get a Christmas gift for Lucas. Having remembered that her parents are more keen in maintaining health, she ops for the health supplements department first. After getting the necessary nutritious supplements and vitamins, she headed to another department.

She then walked into the gent's department to look for a gift for him. After browsing through the whole department and unsure what to get him, she sat down on a couch to relaxed her legs for awhile. Thinking hard and browsing around, her eyes suddenly fell on something stylish. "Hmm.. a tie. The design and colour look good. I will set for this one then." She rush over to the sales assistant and asked for a new one.

After getting all she needed, hurried over to the cashier's counter for payments. Its had a long queues and after waiting for 20 minutes, she charged it to her sub-card given by Lucas.

The sky was clear and the temperature felt cool, an early cold winter wind approaching. In another two days, will be the end of autumn and the coming of winter. Soon will be the starts of something beautiful. Winter days seem to hold a lot of promise and hope, like open arms ready to take you in and shield you from all your past sorrows.

She will be here trying out a fresh start of winter in City A. The past whole year has been been hard on her but she pray that with this one, things for her change. She want them to, so badly, she want everything to begin again. If it could just happen, then maybe she could finally get her life sorted out completely, without Marcus but Lucas.
