One Love Betrayal, Another Bliss..

At 8.00am next day, her cellphone began to ring. Lucas who is lying on the bed seems got disturbed by the sound of her cellphone, he keeps frowning his eyebrows. Obviously, he was distracted by the loud sound. He frowned coldly and move closer to get her cellphone from the side table. On the screen, there were a few missed calls. Lucas looks at the name on the screen, the missed calls were from 'Mom' and 'Dad'. Lucas raised his eyebrow, he did not ignore and chose to answer it.

The call has been connected, Lucas heard a soft voice of a woman from the other end. "Ruby dear, where are you? Are you with him. You didn't come and call home last night." Mother Tang said. Lucas looked at his sleeping beauty on the bed, and faintly answered. "Good morning Aunty! Your daughter's still sleeping. Anything urgent? Do you need her to come to the phone. I wake her up."

Mother Tang was caught in surprised and shyly answered. "No need. Are you free tonight. Your uncle invites you over for dinner?" Lucas answered he's free and will also be bringing few friends along if its alright with the Tangs. She replied no problem and hang up the phone. The phone call ended, he stared at the phone in his hands, suddenly thinking what gifts he should get them.

When she woke up, Lucas smiled. "Good morning sunshine." He was holding her cellphone, and handed it back to her "Your mom called. She wanted us back for dinner tonight." Lucas told her about his conversation with Mother Tang. "What should I get them?" Lucas suddenly asked Ruby. "Maybe you could get them health products and as for Aunt Geneva, perfume would be fine."

Just when she was about to tuck back to her sleep, her body was suddenly lifted up by Lucas. As her body soared up from last night, she was so shocked that she immediately wrapped her arms around his neck. She looked at him with a puzzled look. "Come shower with me. And change your clothes. We're going out."

"Huh? I'm still sleepy. I wanted to go back to sleep." Ruby said to him. She was so sleepy that she yawned incessantly. She faced the person carrying her and asked. "Where are we heading to?" Lucas took notice of her every expression. After that, he said lovingly. "We're going to the mall to get gifts for my in-laws." Ruby freezed and at the same time, smiled on his earlier words 'in-law.' 'He's sure excited to meet my parents.' She thoughts. 'Wait! Was he serious?'

After they had lunch in the hotel restaurant, Aaron bought out his new mobile phone for showoff. The driver drove them to the newly opened East Blue Mall on the other side of the City-M. The fives got out of the MPV, and headed directly towards the entrance. All the salesperson, wearing a uniform, were well-educated and well-behaved, greeted all their patrons inside the mall.

The mall was well-arranged, with dozens of brands occupying hundreds of square meters on each floor - a hypermarket on the first floor underground, jewelry on the first floor, skin care products and cosmetics on the second floor, women clothing and bags on the third floor, men clothing on the fourth floor, household supplies on the fifth floor, outdoor equipment on the sixth floor, alcoholic beverages on the seventh floor, and diamonds on the eighth.

The fives roamed the whole shopping mall and before leaving, they got everything they wanted within three hours. The driver who's was given a hundred dollar by Dennis waited for them at a nearby coffee shop. Seeing them coming out of the mall, he hurried to the MPV, then drove them back to the hotel.

The decoration of Tang's villa was quite simple. In the spacious drawing room, walls were stuck with pattern wallpapers in light blue, white and grey. Most furnitures was in grey and white.

Mom, Aunt Geneva and the new Chef were busy making the final preparation to make this dinner perfect, cause the guests they invited, Lucas, James, Aaron and Dennis were either super rich or famous in City-A. Thus all maids serving tonight were picked by Aunt Geneva.

Just after 7.30pm., Ruby and the four meticulously dressed men arrived at the Tang's Villa. Father and Mother Tang who saw Ruby and her friends walking in, quickly come out to welcome them. "Good evening, Lucas. Welcome! Make yourself home." While Ruby hurried run into Mother Tang and hugged her. "Thank you for inviting us." Lucas said, then introduced Dennis, Aaron and James to her parents.

Father Tang, then guided them to the living room and signaled the maids to bring out refreshments. Father Tang and the four guys chats awhile before dinner. He then asked James, Aaron and Dennis occupations and they replied accordingly. "I'm a famous quaterback football player, Aaron, an investor and Dennis the smart sharp lawyer, whereas Lucas, the wealthiest and smartest business tycoon." James explained. "We're all childhood friends from the same kinder." Aaron added and they all nodded.

Ruby had been standing by the living entrance listening to their conversations for quite a while and this hadn't attracted any bit of their attention. They were so engrossed with their conversation with her father. Ruby, then collected her gaze and walked directly over to them. Voicing out, she said. "Dinner's ready. Please come this way." She turned towards Lucas and the trio.
