One Love Betrayal, Another Bliss..

The salesgirl-1 noticed them from the corner of her eyes. Her eyes beamed and she swiftly went forward to welcome them. "Sir.. Ma'am.., how can I help you?" After asking, she glanced quickly at the sight of Dennis. She started having shrewd thoughts in her mind. Instead of waiting for him to speak, she smiled and said. "A simple necklace had just arrived at our shop yesterday. There are only nine such limited edition necklaces in the world, and we have yet to display it. I feel that this necklace is very suitable for birthday gift." Then she took out the necklace and showed to them.

After introduction of the necklace by the salesgirl-1, Dennis rejects her and walked around the shop looking for something else. In the end, Dennis choose a set of star diamond earings as his gifts. Lucas on the other hands was looking at some rings displayed over the counter. "Hello, sir! This diamond ring is the latest masterpiece by the international designer MG. It just arrived yesterday. The salesgirl-2 introduced to Lucas the most expensive diamond ring with the newest style excitedly. She then entertained by showing him fews more other latest designed.

"Are you're gonna buy me a diamond ring? Actually, you don't need to..." Ruby said. "Try it on." Ignoring what she said, Lucas seized her hand and put on the ring. Well matched! Ruby was a little surprised at the right size. The ring was worn on the fourth finger of her left delicate hand, with the beautiful shine of the diamond softly delivering the grace, elegance, noble, luxurious and low-key nature of an urban woman.

"No need to take it off. Pay by card, please." Lucas took a card out of his wallet, and handed it to the salesgirl-2 without blinking an eye. The salesgirl-2 was so shocked. This man was so cool! He was just gonna pay for the ring without knowing the price.

"Wait! That's too expensive, I can't have it!" Ruby immediately stopped the salesgirl-2. Was he crazy buying a diamond ring costs over 8 million dollars?! It was really not necessary to spend so much money on her. Furthermore, she love him not because of his wealth. Even Marcus never spend so much money on her. But Lucas ignored her and the salesgirl-2 afraid of losing this deals, couldn't delays further and quickly charge the expensive ring at the POS machine.

"Let's go eat. We're hungry!" Lucas stood up from the single chair directly, glanced at the trio sitting on the couch with a hint of smile playing at his lips and sharp eyes. At this moment, the atmosphere inside the room become strange. Lucas, Dennis, James and Aaron meet each other's eyes. Such was the brothers way of doing things. Knowing that it was just a show, they didn't followed him without any hesitation. "I'm hungry too. Can we get something to eat?" A smile appeared on Aaron's face.

Nodding instinctively, James asked around and found two restaurant on the upper floor. "Mrs Yii, there is a KFC and My Europa's Italian restaurant on third floor. Which would you like to eat?" Dennis replied. "Whatever is OK. I am not a picky eater and very hungry now." Ruby was stunned by their brotherhoods' instant telepathy between them, there no need room for conversations. They understand each others' motives just by eyes signalling.

Without any doubt, James trotted to the elevator for the italian restaurant. Ruby had no choice but to agreed but wait, she recalled. 'What did they called her just now. Mrs Yii? What with that? She's not married to him yet.' Ruby looked at them, stunned and lost in thought. Lucas felt a little funny and delighted when he looked at this stunned childish, angry woman and poked her forehead. "Come on, let's go!"

There was no one else in the elevator, except the five of them. When they arrived at the third floor, Lucas held her hand actively to walk towards the restaurant followed by the trio. She struggled to shake him off initially, however, the harder she tried, the tighter his grip turned. She finally gave up and let him be.

As soon as they entered the restaurant, the scent of lunch greeted them and one of the waiter walked up to them. "A table for five?" Waiter-1 asked. They nodded and he then lead them to a table nearby the window overlooking the sceneries. Waiter-2 came with the menu and five glasses of cold water.

Their dinner was rich, four difference dishes and one soup - Pasta Carbonara, the ultimate cheesy dish with bacon; Ai frutti di mare, an Italian seafood pizza that served with scampi, mussels and squid; Lasagna baked with parmesan cheese and layered with a mix of vegetables, bacon strips and minced lamb; Passatelli all'urbinate, spinach and meat dumplings dish and soup of the day, Minestrone, a thick soup made with vegetables.

After finishing their delicious meals, a delightful suprise was served; Tiramisu cake, the sponge fingers soaked in coffee, layered around and smeared with a creamy mascarpone mixture was served to Ruby. She got so surprised that she's speechless. Lucas took a glass of red wine and lazily said. "This your favorite, right? So hurry up and eat, don't wait any longer. From today, this will be yours with me." Ruby got stunned and stared back at him. "How did you know? I never eaten in...." He replied. "I have my ways." She quits eating this because it brings back past memories but today, Lucas filled her with so much warmth and love.
