One Love Betrayal, Another Bliss..

"Not at all! It's not because of you, Marcus. Things became like this because of someone acted stupid in the past! This time, it was completely over, there's noting between us now or in the future. I love Lucas and I wanted to spend my whole life with him." After saying these words, she stand up to leave.

Lucas didn't offer any comments. He merely looked deeply at Ruby. He found it difficult to imagine, once a broken hearted woman like her could possess such impressive emotions that she was able to deal with her past romance in one shot. Even though he's beside her, he fully believed she would be able to pull out of her past heartaches without his help. For some reason, discovering this vulnerable side of Ruby made him cherish her even more...

The group of men nodded in unison, they could hear their stomachs growling already. They really could not wait to get lunch. "Can we go get lunch. I'm damned hungry?" Aaron could not help but asked. "Any specialities here in City-X." Dennis inquired. Lucas turned to her. "In this case, we should ask Ruby."

Ruby brought them to the best Szechuan restaurant in the City. After ordering, dishes were served within 15 to 20 minutes. She sat down between Dennis and Lucas at the round table. Ruby had ordered all her her favorite dishes she had missed so much. Seeing all the appetizing dishes on the table, Ruby can't help but rubbed her rumbling tummy and decided to tuck in first by picking up a pair of chopsticks to devour the food. She ate to her heart's content until her stomach was full to bursting ignoring them.

That night, she slept on Lucas's arm with an unprecedented peace. It was not the first time for her to be sleeping by his side but tonight, she felt extreme peaceful and relaxed. Maybe it was finally, she had dealt with the long hanging relationship with Marcus. She had completely cut Marcus off and let go after such a long cold relationsh.i.p.s and now her focused was fully Lucas.

Ruby woke up the next day looking up at the man who was still sound asleep. His eyebrows, his eyes had appeared countless times in her dreams. They spent every day with each other. Countless times, she had never imagined him lying beside her when she woke up. In fact, she was feeling more at ease by his side.

"Sunshine, good morning!" Ruby was deep in thought when Lucas suddenly spoke. His voice sounded sleepy and hoarse. Her eyes flickered in shock. She swiftly shifted her gaze and turned over, with her back facing him. Ruby turned in her direction and he embraced her tiny waist. "I was really happy you're my girlfriend. So this evening, I wanted you to fly back with me. I'm planning to bring you to meet with my parents first before flying back to City-A."

Ruby was shocked at his suggestion. "No! That's too early. I'm not prepared yet." Ruby replied as she glanced at the man beside her. "Morever, I need to spend more times with my parents here." Ruby tried making excuses using her parents. "I had told them about you. They knows about your existence and indeed they wants to meet their soon to be daughter-in-law the soonest possible." Ruby was stunned. "What if they don't like me? I'm just an average person, not from any powerful wealthy families." "Regardless of whether they like you or not, you will still be my Mrs. Yii. You can't escape..." After he spoke, Lucas stood up, lifted her up and headed for the bathroom.

Inside the bathroom, they showered together. However, it didn't take long before they get out of shower. They changed into something casual. At this moment, he remembered. "Sunshine, why don't you get your parents and Aunt Geneva to tag along since there still a lot of space in my private jet. Furthermore, your father company are closed for another few days. Let the elders enjoy themselves few days away from home."

Ruby replied. "That's not a bad idea.. I'll call my mom now." Ruby called her parents and told them about Lucas intention and soon her parents and Aunt Geneva agreed. After hearing what their daughter said, Father Tang, Mother Tang and Aunt Geneva hurriedly pack their luggages as the flight will be leaving at 7.00pm tonight. Mother Tang informed the maid and Chef cook about their trips. They were also given four days holidays. And while they're away, an elderly maid following Mother Tang since young were incharge of the household.

Soon after the four guys checked out their hotel, Ruby, Lucas and the trio went to a nearby departmental mall to have lunch and buy the necessary souvenirs to bring home. Few hours later, the driver send them to Tang's residence as Ruby need to get her luggage too. The moment she pushed the front door open, Ruby's expression froze immediately. "Ruby, you guys are here? We're ready packed and waiting for you." The five tried their best to sound pleasant and extremely surprised.

"Come over. Have a seat and make yourself home." Father Tang signaled them. Aunt Geneva who's in the kitchen advice one of the maid to serve refreshments. Ruby rushed to her bedroom to pack her remaining things, while Lucas follow behind. He wanted to see how her bedroom look likes. Before closing her bedroom door, Lucas was forcing himself inside.

Ruby: "....." 'What is he trying to do?!' He glanced at her bedroom, walked over and sat on her bed. He then pulled her close and hugged her tightly in his arms. "It's so soft and comfortable here." Ruby's face turned glum. 'Is he talking about the bed or me?'
