One Love Betrayal, Another Bliss..

"I'm hungry..." Ruby said while still lying on the bed. "What do you wanna eat?" Lucas got up, went straight to the kitchen, opened the fridge and found all sorts of different types of fresh foods that would be delivered here monthly by air from the supermarkets in Japan and Europe.

He picked a large lobster, as they were easy to prepare. Ruby who have woke up, walked over and sighed with surprise. "You can even cook lobster? Amazing! How are you gonna prepare it? Lobster sashimi? Fry? Grill? Or steam?"

"Ehm... I plan to boil it, then eat it with honey garlic butter white wine sauce." She believed that eating the food he made at home would be way better than eating in a restaurant.

While the lobster was steamed, Lucas prepare the white wine, honey, garlic butter and a hint of lemon juice under the broiler. He also add a couple of smashed garlic cloves in there for extra garlic flavours. All ready in 20 minutes, including the sauce. Ruby set the table and the two of them began eating.

"Have some lobster. Be careful. Hot." Lucas divided the lobster into two portions and placed one half on his plate. "Hubby, this is delicious!" Lucas was full of compliments for this dish from her. "Full of flavour, there's no need to go to a restaurant for chef-tasting lobster, we got one at home." Lucas chuckled at her remarks.

The next day, after they had breakfast, Lucas told Ruby that he would send her to college on his way to work. Ruby had yet thought of a solution to yesterday's bracelet problem. She planned on going to college by driving on her own, but Lucas dragged her into his car anyway.

However, on their way to college, Lucas kept holding her in his arms and c.a.r.e.s.sing her, and his touch made her mind go blank. By the time the car arrived at the college entrance, Xia Yuni who walked along the pavement made a turn, only to see that Ruby getting out of an Rolls-Royce Phantom car.

'Mhmm... yesterday, another luxury car and today a different one. Is her man that rich? She appeared to be deceivingly innocent.' Xia Yuni murmured to herself. After taking a good look, it was a British made Rolls-Royce Phantom. It was a limited-edition sports car costing of seven to eight million RMB. It was a novelty car that even money couldn't guarantee a purchase and there's only one in the entire City A.

Upon seeing her, Ruby shaked her head. She had no choice but to greet her. She smiled a little. "Hello, Morning Yuni." But her little half-hearted action were noticed by Lucas inside the car.

"Ehmm... morning Ruby. You're really impressive. You managed to come in a different car everyday. Your boyfriend's sure very rich. Are you not someone mistress?" Ruby stared at her quietly, wondering what tricks Xia Yuni's gonna pull at her again later. In fact, Ruby had begun to view Xia Yuni in a different light after yesterday incident.

Apart from the ill and vicious intentions that Xia Yuni harbored deep down, Ruby found that she indeed seemed to be a flawless person on the surface. She was beautiful, classy and bright but she's full of envious resentment and jealousy towards other people better than her.

Ruby couldn't help feeling upset at her remarks, exclaimed, "What do you mean? What mistress? He's my fiance and soon-to-be husband. What nonsense are you spouting. Keep quiet, if you don't know."

Riby looked at Xia Yuni and said smilingly, "I understand that you're full of jealousy towards me because you don't have what I have. If so, you can go find yourself someone more richer, someone richer than my fiance. Don't keep pestering me."

Turning pale from the immense anger, Xia Yuni questioned, "You... why should I be jealous of you? Why would I pester you? Who do you think you are?" Xia Yuni's disp.l.e.a.s.u.r.e towards Ruby grew stronger.

"There are lots of reasons why you should be jealous. For example, the difference in our status, wealth, achievements and power..." Ruby said to her while keeping her eyes fixed on Xia Yuni.

Xia Yuni looked away, not daring to make eye contact with Ruby who was glaring daggers at her and causing her to be overwhelmed with terror and fear. Xia Yuni was in shock. It had never crossed her mind that Ruby would say such words.

Xia Yuni scoffed. "Look how high-sounding you've made yourself to be. Of course you can say whatever you want now that you possess those things. But don't be too arrogant, Ruby."

"Am I really arrogant, Yuni?" Ruby chuckled and said, "Are you afraid that I'm better than you?"

Xia Yuni was about to open her mouth and rebuke her words, but Ruby cut her. "I don't care if you admit it or not, but logically speaking, I am better than you." Ruby said, before she walked passed her.

Ruby looked away and walked ahead towards the college without moving her gaze. She had already said more than enough to this jealous woman. All of a sudden, Ruby gained more knowledge about Xia Yuni's personality. She better kept her guard up higher against her.

As she watched her leave, Xia Yuni murmured softly to herself. "Ruby, you wait! I exposed you for being a mistress of a rich man, I will have my revenge!" Then, she also dragged herself to the class.
