One Love Betrayal, Another Bliss..

The third class wasn't far from the stairways, and since all the professors were in a meeting, they were all studying by themselves. It was quiet. Fenny who was sitting by the window today, shouted exceptionally loud. 'Ruby, you're here.' Ruby naturally heard it since all the windows were opened in summer, and took the seat next to Fenny Lee too.

Liu MengYi also heard Fenny's voice and poked her head up to check. She saw that Ruby had sat down on her chair and she quickly messaged Xia Yuni. She saw Liu MengYi's text and felt frustrated. She replied, 'I know' and shoved it back into her pockets, walking towards the class.

"Yuni, you're here. I reversed a seat for you, next to mine?" Liu MengYi said, striding towards her in a seemingly gleeful manner. Everyone preferred the candid Xia Yuni who's not only pretty but kindhearted, then to Ruby whose aloof and formidable elegance could only be admired from afar.

Joanne who's sitting behind Liu MengYi smiled at Xia Yuni and said, "Yuni, not only are you pretty and intelligent, you're pure and kindhearted as well. I remember everyone borrowing your notes last year. You're always ready to render help whenever necessary. So you're best. Happy New Year too!"

She was absent from class yesterday and upon reaching college, she heard about Ruby's gossip. She's planning to get close with her but after hearing her rumors, she's now on the par with Xia Yuni. Joanne couldn't help being more doubtful towards Ruby. It was hard for her to tell whether the rumors were truth or false.

Xia Yuni could not help but blush. She would also never hesitate to help those in need, so long as it was within her means to. She tucked her hair behind her ear. Feeling a little shy, she blushed and said, "Joanne, don't over praise me. I'm just doing what I can to help. Furthermore, that what's my family had taught me."

Joanne Fu often heard about Xia Yuni staying behind in school frequently to help tidy and clean the premises. She had also left her notes in the common reading area of the student union room and allowed the other students to copy them. She would also give clear and thorough explanations whenever necessary.

Ruby knew that everyone was talking about her rumors, but she wouldn't care less. Even if all her classmates did not like her, there was nothing she could do about it. Aside from this, she did not feel like paying such matters any attention right now. She never did what the allegations stated anyway, and since she was upright as well as honest, there was no need for her to care about other people's opinion on her.

Ruby only had a few months before college final exams, and she had to study as much as possible. Although she had a good friend like Fenny, she didn't want to ignore her studies and most of all, involved Fenny in her problem too. Fenny understood her well, nodded her head and both shifting back their attention on their books again, ignoring all the gossipers.

When Liu MengYi saw that Ruby didn't reply and waited a while longer before she exclaimed. "Ruby, are you pretending that you can't see us?"

So what if she ignored them? She wasn't doing something inappropriate, and she was infact frustrated. Those three have nothing better to do than causing trouble for her! She calmed down after thinking about it thoroughly.

Liu MengYi finally walked over in hesitation and stood infront of Ruby. She didn't expect her to walked over. Wasn't it even more obvious that they're the one who wanted to find fault with her? Fenny wanted to stand up to scold her but Ruby pulled her down, ignoring the dummer standing there.

"What? I need to study." Ruby looked at her and waved the practical book in her hands.

"Ruby, I don't think you can concentrate on studying right now. Everyone knows what you do. You merely a mistress of someone rich. Why act so aloof and arrogant?" Liu MengYi glanced at the book in Ruby's hands. Liu MengYi and Joanne were trying to get a goodside of Xia Yuni by attacking her.

"Did I step on your folk tail? Why are you making trouble for me?" Ruby asked Liu MengYi while glaring at Xia Yuni. "Oh..., you think that I'm in the wrong, I don't dare to bite back... Well, all of you are wrong. I'm upright and honest person, I have nothing to fear."

Ruby had to stopped acting kind now. She indeed had never bothered about the gossip spread by Xia Yuni before but now matter's getting worse. She had to stop this so-called rumors before its too late.

Stunned beyond words, Liu MengYi began to feel a little guilty, starts walking back to her seat. But before she managed to sit down, Liu MengYi, Joanne and every student in class got a message on their phone.

From the message, it was photos of Ruby getting down from few luxury car. Even Fenny and herself got the message too. Upon looking at the photos, Ruby noticed some photos were taken long ago, while some were only taken few days ago. Ruby knew Xia Yuni was behind this but who's the other person helping her.

One of the student stood up, pointed at Ruby and shouted, "She's not innocent as she seem to be. She's someone mistress!" Ruby put her book down and glared at that student.

The whole room became noisy as the students began to discuss this news. "Look at her! She's a mistress of some married man or maybe an old man and she's still arrogant towards us!"
