Although Ruby knew that it wasn't their fault and it was only an excuse for Xia Yuni and Liu MengYi to make her life more difficult, she still felt sad.

Ruby, infacts knew that Xia Yuni get closed to someone for benefits only. She would used all sorts of methods to tarnish someone's reputation if she didn't receive anythings. Ruby still did not believe that Xia Yuni was simply just a good Samaritan who would help others without any reason.

Most students were respectful towards Xia Yuni, although they didn't know the reason why themselves. Maybe it was because she excelled in both grades and appearance or maybe it was because of her kindness. All the students respected her and some even praises about her.

Class dismissed as usual, Ruby and Fenny were tidying their books when suddenly, in front of the other students, Joanne lowered her voice and asked Ruby, "When did you get together with richer man? Did you steal someone's fiance, someone's husband or even some old man?"

"That's true. So what do you plan to do?" Ruby asked. "Report me to the principal and have me kick out of college. I dare you, go ahead! I'm not afraid." Ruby was furious, and she had been tolerant all the time as well. "I'm trying to make peace here. After all, we have been in the same class for three years, we should considered as classmates, however, you all kept attacking me too my limits?"

Although, Ruby spoke in a low voice, Fenny and the others still heard her. At first, it was Xia Yuni. Now, it was Liu MengYi and Joanne Fu! Although she knew that they could not harbor any harm onto her, she still felt that her reputation will be tarnished if Xia Yuni and Liu MengYi still spread the rumors of her due to jealously.

Instead, the class did not bother to ask her for the truth. For some reason, none of them refuted Xia Yuni and Li MengYi. They unconsciously believed them.

Liu MengYi's eyes narrowed, and a sentence spit out from her thin lips coldly, "Look at you, always stay aloof and arrogant. Who dares to be friend with you."

At that time, a man walking by finally turned around, stood behind Liu MengYi and the rest. Unlike Lucas or Marcus, he was clean, quiet and gentle. He was the only one of them who wore glasses, with a somewhat feminine appearance and a pair of narrow eyes, making it difficult to understand what he was thinking.

Liu MengYi' s shoulder was painfully pinched by him. She frowned and asked in a low voice, "What's wrong with you, Shi Meng?"

Infront of other people, Song Shi Meng lowered his voice, "Why do you girls kept harrassing her? You should get along well with each other." Afraid that Ruby might find out that he had a crushed on her, Shi Meng immediately said, "We're all still classmates. Don't go too far!"

Liu MengYi's face became angry while Joanne Fu and Xia Yuni's face grew more somber. The trio felt that it was more like threatened instead, because Shi Meng shot a glance sharp like blade over to them.

Liu MengYi was about to hit the table angrily but stopped herself. She gritted her teeth and said to him, "You..! These has nothing to do with you!" She shouted at him. "Unless, you want to tell something else. If not, don't cross the line."

But Shi Meng's heart stopped suddenly, and blurted out, "Liu Meng Yi." Didn't he know it's easy for Liu MengYi to find out about his crush?

That man frowned slightly and the way he looked at Liu MengYi was extremely strange. This strange look stopped Liu MengYi's from blurted more, and the words that she was about to say went missing, and suddenly there's a halt in her heart.

Rudy could feel that Shi Meng was furious, but he had been tolerant to her all the time as well.

Song Shi Meng had no expression on his face. He glanced around the class, some students were looking at them with anticipation what will happen next. While the others present were stunned and wondered what had happened.

Liu MengYi couldn't help being more doubtful about his crush. It was hard for her to tell the truth from the false. Whereas, standing next to Xia Yuni, Joanne was furious but she kept quiet all this time.

Ruby and Fenny had kept quiet too but their sharp eyes were casting over each other from time to time.

Xua Yuni stepped forward and pulled Liu MengYi back before something big happened. Since she acts as a good Samaritan, she explained unhurriedly, "I'm afraid this is just an misunderstanding. She chuckled and put a faint smile. Come let go home."

Joanne's remained the same, unmoved but the atmosphere around her turned cold. Joanne's body leaned forward slightly, even somewhat rigid, which was a very obvious avoidance posture. They were not like a couple at all.

With such a short distance between them, she could smell the man's fresh, yet cold masculinity and dominant aura. It was a smell that was extremely attractive and could easily tug the hearts of women. It was hard to pull away and unconsciously, her heart beat a little faster. But Song Shi Meng responded indifferently and step away.

Joanne felt something fishy towards Shi Meng. 'Why did he suddenly step out to help her. He seemed to have got something unusual going on. Did he had a crush on Ruby? How could that be possible?'

It couldn't be Fenny as the whole college knows she's with Jasper for two years now. Joanne Fu couldn't believe it, but it was obviously not a good occasion for questioning, so she could only hold back her doubts.

From the depths of her vague memories, Joanne fell love-at-first-sight for Song Shi Meng during the forth day of college. Joanne fell head over heels for him after that get-to-know-you class meeting three years ago. But she never have the courage to tell him, she kept her feelings hidden until now.
