One Piece: Sea Devil Sanji

While wandering around, Sanji managed to fill multiple baskets attached to the sides of his mount with many exotic fruits, herbs, mushrooms etc... native to Little Garden. He also hunted down a big dinosaur that he deemed delicious to eat.

"I think I got enough to last us for the next few days" he started dragging the dead dinosaur by its tail back towards the Going Merry.

Earlier, Sanji sensed Nami and Usopp panic when a giant approached the ship but he wasn't worried as he knew he wasn't a threat. They ended up in fright giving him some rum and leaving with him as he invited them to his home that they forgot about Robin, leaving her unsupervised on the ship. Though, she was still handcuffed with Seastone so she was helpless to do anything.

Sanji closed his eyes as he envelopped the island with his Observation Haki 'Mm, they look to have joined up with Luffy, Vivi and Zoro, watching the duel between the two Elbaf giants living on this island'

He switched his concentration on the last duo, gauging the level of their aura 'Oh! I knew these two were strong but I didn't know they were this monstrously strong' Sanji took a thoughtful drag of his cigarette 'They may even be as strong or even stronger than Inuarashi and Nekomamushi of the Mink Tribe. That is if they too a rest from the serious conditions in which they've been living for the last 100 years...'

On his way back, Mr. 3 regained his consciousness and started shouting all kinds of threats for Sanji to release him. Soon however, his threats became pleading as Sanji grew fed up with him and beat him up bloody. He finished up by putting a gag in his mouth to shut him up for good measure.

Enventually he reached the Going Merry. Sanji shooed the sabertooth tiger back to the forest after taking everything off of it and boarded the ship where he chained his captive to the main mast despite his whimpering protests. Then he expertly butchered the dinosaur into many small cuts and stored them with everything else in the storage room.

He climbed the stairs carrying the Den Den Mushi basket with him and entered the galley. He found Robin sleeping soundly on the edge of the dining table, laying the side of her head on top of her arms.

He smiled softly at her then walked quietly not to disturb her and deposited the basket on the table before making for the kitchen counter.

Couple of minutes later, Robin slowly opening her eyes as she was roused awake by the inviting aroma that started wafting around the room.

"Hello, sleepy head" Sanji greeted her from the counter "How're you doing Robin-chan? I hope you were not feeling too lonely, staying here by yourself"

"Mhm? Oh, hello Cook-san" she stretched awake as she slowly sat up. She smiled at him "It's ok, I'm used to being by myself. Though, I would have appreciated some book to read and keep me company"

"You should ask Nami-san to lend you one of her books when she returns. She's the only one that reads any on this ship"

"I will, though I don't think she would be willing to" Robin brushed some strands of hair from her face "She doesn't like me very much at the moment, I'm still an enemy afterall even if we're cooperating at the moment"

"Don't worry about it, I'll talk to her later" Sanji waved her concern away "Just give her some time, she'll eventually warm up to you" he walked up to her and placed a steaming cup of black coffee and a plate of delectable looking snacks before her "For now, eat up. You must be hungry" he pulled out the chair across from her and sat down.

"Well, thanks" she smiled, using her handcuffed hands pick up a sandwich then politely took a bite of it. Upon doing so, her eyes widened a bit, in somewhat of a shock.

"So how was it, Robin-chan?" asked Sanji, a small smirk tugging at his lips.

She swallowed the bite down with a sip of coffee "This is incredidle Cook-san. I can honestly say this is the most delicious thing I have ever eaten"

"I'm glad you liked it" he grinned at her "I can make more for you if you wish?"

"There's no need to trouble yourself. I think this enough for now" she took another bite, though a bit less politely this time and washed it down with a some coffee "But I wouldn't mind some more later"

"I'd be delighted to. It's always a p.l.e.a.s.u.r.e to cook for such a beautiful flower" he leaned back on his chair "You'll be able to enjoy more from where that came from when you become part of our pirate crew in the future"

"Fufufu, are you perhaps trying to entice me with food to join you?" she laughed humorously.

"It doesn't hurt to try" he gazed at her expectantly "So, is it working?"

She hummed good naturally "Well, it's definetly having an affect. However, Crocodile should be defeated first"

"Funny thing that you mentioned him, I'm actually waiting on a call from him in a little bit" he extracted the Den Den Mushi from the basket and placed it before him on the table.

Robin was bewildered as she lifted an eyebrow at him, urging him to explain. Sanji pointed at the writing on the side of the snail.

She was surprised when she read it "Mr. 3? How did you end up whith his Den Den Mushi?" she asked.

"He came here with his partner on a special mission" Sanji pulled a piece of paper that he found on Mr. 3's pocket and slid it towards Robin "This is Mr. 0's direct orders for him to intercept and capture Vivi-chan in addition to kill the pirates she's travelling with, meaning us. Though, he ended up getting captured by me instead"

Robin took the paper and read it, recognized the writing style of Mr. 0. She looked back at Sanji "Does that mean Mr. 3 on the ship now?"

"Yes" he pointed to the outside deck "I had him chained to the mast"

"I see..." she placed the paper back on the table.

Sanji spoke again after exhaling a plume of smoke "The mission Crocodile assigned to Mr. 3 could make or break his plans. So I figured he would want to personally check on it's progress. Now, I'm just waiting for him to phone in"

"You're going to pretend to be Mr. 3 and feed him false information, aren't you?" she concluded.

"Exactly!" he nodded at her "I'll try and throw him off our tracks so we can reach Alabasta without any interference. Then once we're there, we can launch a surprise attack on him, taking him down and the rest of his officers in one fell swoop" Sanji leaned forward on the table giving Robin a meaningful smile "Now if we can just get them to gather in one location, it would be perfect. Don't you think?"

"Fufufu" she gave a small chuckle then said "Well I happen to know of such a meeting taking place... Actually yesterday, I was personally ordered by Crocodile to return to Alabasta and arrange for this meeting. He's planning to finally reveal his real identity to his officers and give the final mission briefing on taking over Alabasta"

"So does that mean you can make it happen when we reach Alabasta?"

"I can..." she said hesitantly

"I knew you would come through, Robin-chan!" he said happily.

She added though "However, are you sure your crew would be able to take them down? Crocodile himself is very powerfull and is known to be unbeatable. His officers are no joke either, ecpecially Mr. 1 and Mr. 2. It's suicide to take on all of them at the same time. Instead why not try and eliminate them one by one? You would have more of a chance of survival like that"

"Nah. If their members start disappearing one after the other, Crocodile would become alert of our presence and devise some counter measures against us" Sanji propped his head up with his elbow on the table "It might be painful at first but I prefer to get rid of trouble in one go than let it fester for a moment longer. Besides, I'm confident in my crewmates' strenght, they'll come through in the end"

She stayed silent for a while as she finished her meal then asked "You have that much trust in your friends?" Sanji nodded at her "Allright, I'll help you out. But only on the condition that I'm convinced of your strenght first. Crocodile will surely figure out that I'm the one that betrayed him if he survived and I'll end up chased down by him. If I'm to cooperate, I want to make sure that your crew is up to the task or not"

"That's reasonable I guess..." Sanji rubbed the stuble on his chin in thought until he remembered something "Ah, I think I have an idea on how to convince you"

"Oh, how so?" she asked not hiding her interest.

He stood up from his seat and picked up the Den Den Mushi with his left hand. He walked around the table to her seat and held his right hand towards her "Come, I'll show you"

"Where to?" she asked as she took his hand and stood up.

"You'll see" he led her to the outside deck. He pulled another bug repellent cream tube and gave it to her "You already know the dangers of this island. So use this, it'll protect your lovely skin and prevent you from contacting any unexpected disease"

"Thanks, cook-san. But..." She showed him her handcuffs.

"Oh, I totally forgot" he scratched his head awkwardly then smiled at her "Want me to help you put in on?"

"You could just release me, you know" she smiled back at him "I have nowhere else to go anyway. Your ship is my only way to Alabasta at this point, so it's not in my interest to cause you any trouble"

"Mmm, you have a point..." he took her handcuffs off and tossed them back on the dining table then looked her in the eye "I have my trust in you, Robin-chan. Otherwise, I might have to spank you again" he winked at her as he lightly slapped her behind.

"You have my word" she winked back at him not really minding his flirty behavior. She took the tube from him and started rubbing the cream on her exposed skin.

Once she finished up she looked back at him "So, what now?"

He took her hands and looped them around his neck "Hold on tight" he smirked at her bewildered look.

He held her waist with his free hand then jumped high up starting to skywalk towards the western side of Little Garden.

Robin was shocked beyond words when she started flying in the air. Though her face didn't betray any emotions except for the slight widening of her eyes, Sanji still felt her tense up against him as she firmly hugged his neck in fear of falling down.

Sanji looked at her in his arm "Are you alright? I hope I didn't startle you too much"

Robin finally regained her composure when he adressed her and looked at him "This is... a surprise. I didn't know you can fly"

"It isn't flying per se" he continued to skywalk forward as he explained "It's a technique where I rapidly kick the air to push myself upwards. You could say I'm just running on the air"

"Nonetheless, it's still an impressive feat" she looked at the forest down below fascinated by the many dinosaurs roaming around.

Couple of minutes later, he reached the beach west of the island and softly landed on the ground. He gently released his grip on Robin then handed her the Den Den Mushi "Hold on to this for me. I'll be back in a minute"

She held the Den Den Mushi and looked at him interested in what he's planning to do. She saw him strip down his clothes leaving only his u.n.d.e.r.w.e.a.r before he neatly folded them on top of each other on the ground.

He stretched for a bit then jumped to the ocean, diving deep underneath.

She patiently waited for him as the minutes trickled by. But when no sign of him showed up after a full half hour passed, she started to wonder if he just drowned in the water and not coming back.

Another half hour passed and she was about to give up and return back to the ship. However, she suddenly noticed that the ocean water level began to abnormally rise up. She quickly used her devil fruit power and grabbed Sanji's clothes and the Den Den Mushi before she pulled herseft up on top of a tall tree to avoid drowning in the rising tide.

She faced the sea once again and that's when she spotted two mountain sized glowings orbs starting to show up near the ocean surface. Right after, Sanji jumped out from the water like a bullet and continued to swiftly skywalk higher in the air. Behind him the two orbs transformed into protruding eye sockets revealing an enormous white-red colored goldfish Sea King. It leaped upwards with its mouth wide open showing a set of large teeth, each as big as the Going Merry, trying to swallow him for disturbing its sleep.

Robin paled when she recognized it "The Island Eater!" A creature known for its massive size that allowed it to easily consume sh.i.p.s and even entire islands, producing feces large enough to create the uninhabited island, Nanimonai. It's considered highly savage in nature and the main reason sh.i.p.s leaving Little Garden never reached their destination.

Sanji on the other side managed to avoid it and stopped midair right out of its reach. He looked down at the monster that came after him and his legs suddenly started to become golden hot as he released his Diable flames.

*Poêle à Frire: Spectre (Frying Pan: Spectrum)*

In a flash, starry beams of fire started raging down from his flaming legs on the Island Eater as Sanji clenched his hands into fists and began to repeatedly unleash fast kicks downwards.

The creature released loud suffering bellows as the fiery beams easily pierced it clear through, hitting the ocean waters underneath bringing them to a steaming boil.

The life vanished from its eyes as Sanji left it riddled with uncountable holes, lookin like a beehive. Water seeped in filling what's left of its insides, causing it to start to go under, drowning back where it came from.

Sanji still floating in the air looked at Robin and found her gaping at him with her mouth open in an o shape, astonishment visible on her face. He skywalked towards her and landed on the tree branch she stood on.

He smirked as he faced her "So, was that enough to convince you of our capabilities? Well mine at the very least?" she didn't move from her spot still gaping at him so he continued again "I can show you more if you want?"

She didn't appear to be hearing him at the moment "Robin-chan, are you still there?" he asked as he snapped his fingers in front of her face to get her attention back

"Huh?" she flinched as she regained her mental faculty "Hm no, I think that'll be enough..." she coughed once in her fist to clear her throat and get her poise again then looked at him "I admit I had my doubts at first but I didn't know you would show me something this unbelievable..."

"Hehehe, well I'm here to impress" he puffed his c.h.e.s.t in pride.

She smirked though "And here I thought when you started to undress that you brought me to this secluded place to force yourself on me... Fufufu, how silly of me" she giggled lightly as she covered her mouth.

"What!?" exclaimed Sanji with a horrified expression causing him to lose his footing and slip down from atop the tree.

Robin sprouted multiple arms from the now dry ground as the water finally receded back and caught him before he crashed down. She then jumped down after him, softening her landing with her power again.

"That was very mean of you, Robin-chan" said Sanji in a sullen pout dangling upside down in the air as she approached him "How can you think I'll ever do anything like that to you?" he was appalled at the mere mention of such a thing "I'll never forgive myself if I ever hurt you!"

"Sorry" she gave him a little peck on the cheek as an apology then smiled at him "I just couldn't help but mess with you a little bit"

"Aw, Robin-chan!" he made a silly smile as he touched where she kissed him "You can mess with me all you want. I'll never get upset at you!"

She smiled in amus.e.m.e.nt as she commanded the arms to flip him around and drop him gently on the ground then handed him his clothes back "Let's get back to the ship. I think I've had enough excitement for the day. I'm sure your crewmates- Oh, that's right! I forgot to mention before but some giant came earlier and took Navigator-san and Long-nose-san with him. Are they going to be alright?"

"He's a friendly giant, don't worry. They're perfectly safe with him... " he added a little codly than he intended as his voice dropped an octave "Otherwise I would have wiped him out by now. Nobody dares to threatens Nami-san's life and hope to survive my wrath"

Robin shivered a bit when she heard him and looked at him strangely. This is a new side to him that she didn't see before.

He realised his slip up moments later and looked at her apologetically "Sorry, Robin-chan. I must have frightened you"

"It's alright" she smiled reassuringly at him "You care a lot about her, don't you?"

"More than you can imagine" he pulled his lighter and packet of cigarettes from his clothes and lit one in his mouth. He exhaled smoke and looked deeply into her eyes "I care a lot about you too, Robin-chan. It may seem strange to you as not even a whole day passed since we met, but I want you to know one thing... You're not alone anymore. You have me alongside you now and no matter the circ.u.mstances, I'll always be there for you"

"..." Robin stayed silent as she stared back into his eyes. She eventually sighed as her eyes became downcast and spoke with an air of melancholy surrounding her "Why...? You don't even know me. I'm just a demon that only brings trouble to those around me"

"I don't care" he held her hand firmly and smiled as she looked him the eye again "No amount of trouble would ever make me turn my back on you. The world may consider you a demon but that's because they haven't seen a devil before. They'll know hell before I ever let them lay a hand on you"

"Oh, so you're the devil now?"

"You've no idea" he took the cigarette from his mouth then lifted her hand to his lips planting a soft kiss "You're stuck with me, Robin-chan. So you better get used to my annoying self keeping you company from now, because I'm not going anywhere"

Robin wasn't used to people being this sincere with her, so she didn't know what to say. She only manged to give him a small smile, but it was the most genuine smile she gave him today.

Sanji was satisfied with that as he grinned at her "Alright let's go back. The rest must be worried by now" he let her hand go and started wearing his clothes.

Suddenly, a ringing noise came from the Den Den Mushi as it woke up.

*purururururu...* *purururururu...*

Sanji stopped in place and looked at Robin who's still holding the Den Den Mushi. The two had the same thought in mind.

*purururururu...*

"Crocodile!" they said at the same time.

*purururururu...*

Sanji quickly finished dressing up and approached her. He put his hand on the receiver "Well, I guess it's show time" she nodded at him.

*purururururu...* *Gacha*

He puffed on his cigarette before he picked up the receiver "Hello, this is the shitty restaurant. Would you like to make a reservation?" he smirked as he heard a grumbling noise from the other end of the line.

Once Sanji and Robin came back to the Going Merry, they found Zoro sleeping on the deck and the rest surrounding Mr. 3 who's chained to the mast while Carue is pecking at him.

"Ah, Sanji-kun!" Nami was the first to notice them.

Sanji spread his arms wide as he twirled towards her "Nwami-swan, have you missed me?"

"As if!" she kicks him low on the shin; though more softly than normal.

He still winces "Ow, you hurt me Nami-san!" he clutched his heart dramatically.

She ignored his theatrics and asked as she pointed at Mr. 3 "Are you the one that captured him? Vivi said that he's one of Baroque Works officers, Mr. 3!"

"That's true" he recounted to her and the rest how he found him and showed them the same paper he showed Robin.

Nami looked at him worriedly after getting the gist of the situation "You faced four enemies on your own, Sanji-kun. Are you alright?"

"Don't worry, Nami-san" he patted her head to soothe her worries "They weren't much of a threat to begin with, so I easily took care of them. They didn't even manage to hit me once"

"I'm sorry, Sanji" said Vivi to the side as she looked down to the ground with a glum expression "It's my fault that those agents came to the island..."

"Why the long face, Vivi-chan?" he gently pinched her right cheek.

"Ow!" she whimpered and looked at him.

He smiled at her "Don't blame yourself because I'm not. Besides, nothing bad happened. Instead Crocodile is weakened further, this should be reason to celebrate"

"Alright! Time for a party!" yelled Luffy excitedly "Sanji, prepare us a feast!"

"Yeah, let's get this party started!" added Usopp as both started dancing, arms around their shoulders.

Carue joining in with the two, quacking excitedly as he hopped around.

Sanji shook his head at their antics then looked back at Vivi as he pointed at them "See, everyone is taking it easy. So don't beat yourself up for nothing, ok?"

Vivi rubbed her throbbing cheek then gave him a smile and a nodded.

Nami finally noticed Robin without her handcuffs. She frowned as she looked at Sanji "You let her go, didn't you?" she asked with disapproval.

"What!?" Vivi was shocked.

He smiled wryly as he scratched the back of his head "Yeah"

Nami sighed in exasperation "What am I going to do with you, Sanji-kun? You're too trusting when it comes to women. First Vivi and now her..."

Vivi started whistling awkwardly to the side.

"Don't forget about you too, Nami-san" he whispered playfully in her ears.

She reddened a bit and hit him in the head "Yeah that too..." she turned to Robin and crossed her arms "I know that we're cooperating right now so we aren't technically enemies but I won't be fooled easily like this idiot. I'll kick you out at the first sign of suspicious activity!"

"Fufu... Sure, I'll keep that in mind" she gave Nami one of her mysterious smiles.

Sanji leaned in and whispered in her ears once again "Think about it Nami-san. She's Baroque Works' vice president and Crocodile's partner, I'm pretty sure she knows where they keep their treasures..."

Nami's eyes instantly changed to Belis and jump hugged Robin "Ohh forgive me big sister! I was mean to you!"

Vivi sweatdropped at Nami's abrupt change of attitude while Robin looked at him curiously.

He smiled at her as he shrugged his shoulders.

"Sanji, we need snacks!" came Luffy's voice followed by Usopp's and Carue's "Yeah, we can't have a party without snacks!/*Quack*"

"Alright" Sanji put his hands in his pockets and headed for the galley "Anybody up for some special drinks?"

"You bet we are!/*Quack*" they lifted their hands in the air.

"Make some for me and my big sister too, Sanji-ku~n!" said Nami as she looped her arm through Robin's.

"Right away, my beautiful Nwami-swan!" Sanji swooned over her then skipped inside the kitchen.

Nami looked at Luffy and Usopp "Alright you lot, it's time we set sail so get to work" she kicked Zoro awake and started ordering them around. They w.h.i.n.ed at first but some threats and punches to the head later got them to work fast "Sail straight from here, we should be able to exit on the western side of the island"
