One Piece: The Power System

The sun rose high, which sparked a new day, the day that Rein would complete his mission. Rein got up and went outside to brush his teeth by the river. They had no sink or bath to take a shower or anything so he had to settle for this river. Surprisingly, he was the first to wake up as everyone else was still asleep.

After brushing his teeth, Rein did a few leg workouts.

"Geppo!" Rein jumped into the air, he Geppo'd, so it looked like he was walking up the air with each thrust he took. As he was now, he couldn't remain in the air for long but long enough to get places with it.

After practicing this Geppo, he came back down for a break. Soon, Luffy and everyone else woke up, they were hungry so they cooked the meat of the tiger again. Rein came in while everyone was getting ready to eat and took a seat by them.

"Today we'll get rid of those Blue Jam Pirates and relieve Sabo of his trouble." Ace was confident after taking down the tiger and after seeing Erica's ability to perform.

"Once we're done eating, we'll head to Dadan's to give them some of this meat. After that, we'll go kill the tiger." Rein didn't feel the need to cut off Dadan and her bandit group, he actually liked the group but only ran because of Garp.

"Huh! Give our meat to them!?" Ace didn't sit well hearing what Rein said.

"I know she can be rough at times but she has been taking care of you since you were an infant, at least you can do this much." Rein paused and continued "No worries, we can hunt more and have fun while doing it, we can even have a competition to see who can catch the most." Luffy and Sabo thought this was a good idea, this was definitely so for Luffy. Sabo had no problem sharing anyway and how could Erica disagree?

"Ah, you got a point, hmm!" Ace scratched his forehead, "Okay, let's do it, then we'll take down the Blue Jam." Ace finally nodded after some thought.

Like always, they ate like pigs until all that was cooked was gone. "Darn, we'll need to have some drinks on the side next time, this can't do with meat alone!" Sabo complained. He needed something to wash the meat down like a beverage of some sort.

"Once we get to Dadan's house, I'll steal some sake from her or something." Ace waved his hand as he swallowed his last piece of meat. Once they were done, they got up and left the treehouse to Dadan's place.

As they were walking, Luffy fell into a hole that ace had made some time ago. Luffy stretched his way out and followed along. Once they were at the door, Ace pushed the door open to see Dadan drinking sake. He swore to himself after realizing that he was too late to steal her drink.

"You damn brats! Where have you guys been all this time!?" Dadan glared at the group. Before they speak, she spoke first. "Phew, you brats stink, you need to clean yourselves!" Moments later, they were stripped and thrown into the bathing room outback.

Sabo and Ace jumped in the barrel to clean themselves while Luffy poured water over himself to clean. Rein and Erica did the same and afterward, they put on a new set of clothes before throwing bags of meat at Dadan and leaving.

"Okay, let's go get rid of these bastards!" Ace yelled to the sky in excitement. Everyone had their weapons ready as they headed towards Gray Terminal.

"Here is the plan, Me, Ace, Luffy and Sabo can take on the regular members. Erica, you go subdue the leader Blue Jam." Rein said bluntly.

"Huh, why don't we all just take down Blue Jam together?" Sabo wondered why it was like this.

"Because Blue Jam has a gun, so you, Ace and I can't take a gunshot or else!" Rein knew that none of them had any means to dodge a bullet and would be shot dead. This was Blue Jam's primary weapon. In this Kingdom, Guns reigned Supreme and could easily take someone out. The only one here who could take a gunshot to the body and be okay was Luffy and Erica.

"Oh, I see." Sabo thought that made perfect sense, he would rather not get shot.

"Hmm, Luffy, you go with her for extra coverage, try not to get caught." Luffy smiled and followed behind the group. They soon made it to Grey Terminal, it was the same as always, full of theft and lawlessness. The Blue Jam Pirates House was located in the middle of the Gray Terminal. This was only a house though and not their hideout, Rein was hoping that they'll be here.

Rein and the gang approached the house that was surrounded by hooligans. "You little brats, what do y.." The man didn't get to finish when Sabo and Ace knocked him over the head with their pipes.

"What the.. you little shit, you dare to attack us! Get them!" Several hooligans began to attack, Rein used his sword and stabbed their legs, making them fall without the chance of getting back up. Luffy and Erica took this time to run into the house.

The battle didn't last long at all and the men outside were ultimately defeated. Rein, Ace, and Luffy ran into the house and saw that Blue Jam was actually here! He had decided to stay overnight instead of return to his base from his talk with noblemen last night.

"You Little Brats, DIE!!"

Blue Jam was enraged seeing his men being beaten before him. Blue Jam unloaded his pistol into Erica and shot some at Luffy afterward. However, it was a bad idea shooting Luffy as the bullet bounced off his body. They went right back at Blue Jam and into his shoulder!

"AH!"

Blue Jam screamed and held his shoulder as looked at the two in shock! His bullets had no effect on Luffy but when he looked at the girl, she had bullet holes in her that started to heal back.

"W-What are you!?" Blue Jam took a step back and began to load his pistol. One of his men came out the back to attack Luffy but Ace jumped over and began to beat up the last of Blue Jam's men along with Sabo.

"Soru!" Rein moved quickly seeing Blue Jam loading his gun, and appeared in front of him.

"Shigan!" This was the perfect time to test this technique. Rein's index finger rapidly pierced at Blue Jam's c.h.e.s.t.

"AH!!" Blue Jam screamed again and dropped his pistol.

With one last finger pistol, he slammed it towards his c.h.e.s.t! Blue Jam was blown away screaming as he slammed into the wall. Blue Jam looked at the kid in shock, he couldn't see how this kid could move so fast.

"Die for Me!" Rein stabbed his sword into Blue Jam's heart.

Several alarms went off in Rein's head after killing Blue Jam. Everyone was a bit surprised to see a person actually getting killed before them.

"Let's get out of here, fast!" Rein had no time to think about Blue jam's death and left with the group back to the mountain.

Once they returned they relaxed from the events prior. A day went by and Erica went back to Makino's house to study and train. The next day Ace, Luffy, and Sabo went to sneak into Goa kingdom again, but Rein didn't check his earnings and thought deeply about his killing of Blue Jam. It was his first time killing someone.

However, once they were in the city, they were met with Sabo's dad, who caught the three. Sabo was forcefully taken away, but would willingly learn as a noble if he let Luffy and Ace go free. His father complied with him and let them go.

During that day, Sabo's father learned that Blue Jam was killed by a group of kids, which put a dent in plans to burn down Gray Terminal. Sabo's father had no choice but to hire someone to do the job for him. The nobles wanted this place to be removed, they called it the shame of their Kingdom. These people had fire protective suits and began to burn down Gray Terminal that night.

Sabo had escaped the house and ran the streets where he would meet Dragon but was left there afterward. Sabo had learned that the nobles planned to burn Gray Terminal from his adoptive brother Stelly. After asking around, Sabo found out that every noble knew about the fire that was to come. He wanted to warn the people but he was getting mentally exhausted and fainted after talking to Monkey D. Dragon.

Rein, Ace, and Luffy could see the fire from afar. Rein was quite surprised that he couldn't change the events by killing Blue Jam. They still manage to torch gray terminal even with Blue Jam's death. It was whatever, Blue Jam was just a tool for the noble anyway since he would later be betrayed by him.

However, Monkey D. Dragon had saved the people of Gray Terminal, thus they joined the revolutionary army. The next day, men in dark green army clothing and black masks over their faces went to clean up the burnt rubble in Gray Terminal. They were ordered to kill any survivors that were found alive, but they had all concluded that they were burnt to ash.

This was the day the world noble Saint Jalmack was coming to Goa Kingdom. Sabo's dad had a guard watching over Sabo to make sure he didn't escape. This didn't work, Sabo was easily able to defeat the guard and escape.

The World Noble was closing in and everyone was around for the ceremony. Sabo stole a fishermen's ship to set sail as a pirate early. At that time, the World Noble Jalmack Ship was passing by at the same time. Sabo got his ship shot at by the world noble by some sort of rocket launcher.

Later that night, the midget bandit would relay what he saw. What he had seen happen to Sabo which caused Ace to go into a rage and attack the midget bandit. The bandit told him what he had seen was the truth and not a lie. Confirming to them that Sabo wasn't happy with his life and got his own boat to set sail early.

Ace grabbed his pipe in an attempt to find Sabo but was immediately subdued by Dadan. They were forced to tie Ace to a tree for the night in order to stop him. Luffy could only cry and call Sabo's name. Ace simply yelled at him, telling him not to cry like a girl, but the next day he went to a cliff alone to cry to himself after looking at Sabo's letter.

All had come to pass just like that, Luffy often cried every day in his sleep chanting Sabo's name.

"Well, time to check my rewards!" Rein sighed deeply and looked at his earnings, it was time to check his rewards out.
